Came in last minute to get flowers for a friends graduation. Olivia was very quick to help me! She was very kind and helpful with picking out my arrangement. The bouquet came out gorgeous! I was very happy with my purchase and it was at a great price too! I’ll definitely be back.

I really wish I would have read the reviews before placing my order. I would give NO stars if I could. I ordered ‘The Garden of Memories’ for my sister in law who’s dad had just passed away. I liked it because it was masculine and rugged looking. What was delivered, to my horror, was nothing even REMOTELY close to what was pictured online. What was delivered was something that resembled an Easter basket with pink flowers!!! So I called the shop twice to talk to the manager and was told both times they were unavailable. The girl took my number both times and said the manager would call me back. NEVER happened! I paid a lot of money for something that I didn’t order!!! So, with that being said, I would NEVER buy from this shop again, and hopefully whoever reads these reviews will think twice about it too. To say that I’m extremely disappointed and embarrassed is an understatement!
BUYER BEWARE!!!

I called on a holiday (Memorial Day) and was told the shop was closed, but there was an employee in the shop who would help me if I could arrive at the store quickly. I suppose that because the store was supposed to be closed for the holiday, there was not much left in the store — but the sole employee at the location helped me get what I needed. It’s going to take another visit before I can state that I’m a fan of the shop or not, but the employee who helped me today was extremely helpful and did the most with what she had to work with.

Do not spend your $ here. I ordered flowers on ³⁄₂₂. They died the next day (which was verified by the store manager). Ive been trying to get a refund for the last two months, but was told only the owner could do that. Today, I finally gave in and took another bouquet just so I could end any further dealings with this business. I should of read the other negative reviews first. BUYER BEWARE!

I placed a phone order for the «Vision in Red» arrangement on Monday and was told it would be ready for pickup at 10:00am on Saturday. I arrived at the shop at 9:50am on Saturday but the doors were locked. I called the store 4 times during the 45 minutes I had waited. A Conroy’s driver arrived around 10:30am and said she did not have a key to unlock the door and called her boss. Around 10:45am a Conroy’s designer arrived to unlock the store. After 10 minutes they informed me that my arrangement had not been made and offered to throw something together for me. I declined and asked if I could receive a refund. Neither the Conroy’s driver or designer were able to handle the payment aspect of transactions so I left and returned later that day when their manager would be there to issue the refund. The manager apologized profusely and explained there was a miscommunication due to internal company affairs. She said she would refund my money and email me a copy of the receipt. I never received an email or a refund of my $ 75.
I’ve told a few people about my experience and each of them either knew someone who had had a similar negative experience with Conroy’s or had been directly effected by their negligence themselves. While I was on the Better Business Bureau’s website to file a complaint I found that Conroy’s has previously had 4 complaints made against them by the BBB in the past 4 years.
The shop itself is dingy feeling and unclean. The few arrangements they had on display were supermarket quality at a professional shop price. The employees themselves were kind and apologetic but they lose points for being unprofessional. Overall, I recommend Conroy’s ONLY AS A LAST RESORT.
I drove about 2 miles down the road to Michael’s Flowers and they were able to create an arrangement similar to the «Vision in Red» arrangement at an equal cost. Michael’s runs a beautiful shop filled with vibrant flowers and a professional, friendly staff. Here is the contact information for Michael’s:

Update: It has been over two months since I requested a refund from the shop. I have called three times a week for over 8 weeks and every time they take down my number and never call back. Two days ago I finally managed to call when the shop owner was in and she apologized and told me to come down at 4:00pm to collect my refund. I drove straight from work to Conroy’s and was told she was not in and that they had no idea when she would be in. The acting store manager said she would not issue me the refund and told me I should call my bank instead. The women was extremely unhelpful and a tad on the rude side — her general attitude towards the situation made me feel as though I was the one in the wrong and that my presence was interrupting her day somehow. Yesterday, I received a call back from the store. It was one of the employees saying that she did not know that I had posted a review and asked if I would delete the review if they gave me a refund. I told her I would absolutely not be deleting any of my reviews and that I should not have to delete them to collect the refund that I am rightfully entitled to. The employee said I would be getting a call from the owner later that day and I never received a call. This morning I received an email from the Better Business Bureau informing me that they had made several attempts to contact the shop and received no response. I take back what I said about the employees being «kind and apologetic», none of these girls have any business working in customer service. One of the employees actually had the audacity to refer to me directly as «the Unilocal girl» over the phone the week after I left my original review. I have been more patient and understanding than deserved. I have no idea how they have stayed open with the amount of complaints against them and at this point all I can think is that they are a front for something else. Do not go to them for ANYTHING if you want something done well. (Or done at all, really).
Update: Today, a day after writing the previous update, I called and was told there was an envelope with my refund down at the shop. I went down to the shop to collect my refund and when I went to count the money before leaving I found that they gave me $ 6.12 less than what was owed. The employee called the owner and was told to offer me an arrangement and that I would have to come back another day for the rest of the refund because they didn’t have enough in the cash register. So, I received 85% of a refund today.

I wish I could give a «no star» for this shop. I ordered from 1800 flower to deliver a very nice large bouquet of purple flowers totalling $ 87 to my girlfriend on her 30^th birthday. I had never been embarrassed in my life in front of her and her parents to the point that I had to buy another bouquet of flowers to take it to her on the same day. First the guy was hours late and he had to take the flowers to her house instead of her work, second it looked like $ 8 leftover flower bouquet you get on super sale before store trashing it.
I was so disappointed about it and I complained with 1800 flowers regarding this so they said they were sorry blah blah guaranteeing 100% smile blah blah blah and scheduled a redelivery for the next day even when I insisted I wanted full refund.
So the next day comes, already having lost faith on this guy, he never shows up! No flower again and another embarrassing moment for me to bear.
I could literally say I emailed back and forth about 6 times till they decided to refund the full amount to me.
I also suggested them to consider opening an investigation on this shop because of many negative feedbacks this shop has received.
I will never ever buy from 1800 flower nor this shop. Also spreading the word out about them.

I used to go here all the time for flowers. Several years ago they had nice people working there. These past few years I had stopped going because everytime I’d go no one would ask if I needed help. I was totally ignored. I would look around for awhile. I can hear them asking others for help yet no one ever asked me. This happened a few times. Approximately four or five times. I even took a friend there once so he could purchase flowers and we were both ignored. After that I decided to never go back. This week I figured I’d give them another chance. I ordered two flower arrangements for my girlfriend online. I’m picky on my flowers and always want the best looking flowers. The arrangements I ordered looked beautiful online. I even forked over extra money for the premium arrangement. They just arrived and they are definitely not what I was expecting. Flowers look old and small. If this is what the premium arraignment is then I’d hate to see what the regular arraignment looks like. I’m very disappointed and pissed off! I was really excited to give these to my girlfriend for Valentines Day. Now im embarrassed to give her these. She deserves better then this. I paid good money for great flowers. This crap I received is unacceptable. Im really thinking about tossing these and buying something else. I will never purchase anything from Conroys again nor will I recommend it to anyone. Thanks for nothing!!!

We wanted to order all our wedding flowers from Conroys so I called them to inquire about the price range on just the corsages and sprays (as we were thinking of maybe having those done closer to the ceremony location, whereas Conroys is closer to the reception location). I just asked for a rough estimate (like from 150 & up) I told the girl I talked to I didn’t need any specific pricing. She had no idea what they even did for weddings and put me on hold. Another girl came on and sounded confused about what the first girl had told her to say and put me on hold as well. I was patient on hold and didn’t mind waiting. A women then got on the phone after some time and said «you know what this is a bad time to call can’t you just call back or make an appointment to come in?»
Really?
I was totally cool waiting on hold and what I was asking should have been a simple question to answer.
Why don’t you try something more polite like «I’m sorry, things are a bit crazy right now with orders and customers can I get your number to call you back or would you like to come in?»
No surprise why they have such low ratings after that phone call and I will be taking all of our wedding business elsewhere. Way to lose an opportunity to be the florist for a large wedding and get negative word of mouth out there.

It’s taken me a while to get on here and write this review, but I must so you can hear the truth about this place.
I was the MOH at a wedding in August, I also planned a lot of the wedding. The bride ordered the flowers to be delivered at 3pm, the ceremony was to start at 5:15pm. Plenty of time for us to get things set up and get the wedding party flowers in the fridge.
At 4pm we noticed the flowers hadn’t arrived yet. Panic!
Finally a little after 4 pm, I was told the flowers were here and the woman was sitting in the parking lot, really?
I ran, yes literally ran to her van, she informed me that the delivery guy was lost, who just happened to have the bulk of the flowers. Great! We have no flowers?
The guy finally arrived with the worst flowers I have seen, they were all wilted!
As I’m going crazy about the flowers, the woman ask «Can we help you arrange the flowers»
I replied, no! I will be talking to the owner. She said, I am the owner. Wow! I can’t put into words how mad I was, because I would get kicked off of Unilocal.
I dismissed her and rushed to finish the center pieces, with little time to spare.
Wedding are stressful enough, we didn’t need or pay for extra stress.
We just received the pictures of the wedding, I think the worst is the groom and his men looking all sharp in their suits, with a wilted little flower on them.
Do not order from this place for a event. You won’t get what you pay for.

What a beautiful arrangement! Tamara helped to create something wonderful — I requested hydrangeas, Casablanca lilies and a rustic but elegant arrangement. The result was perfect! And my friend absolutely loved it!

A wonderful Simi flower shop. Lori and Maureen were so helpful in helping me pick the perfect flowers. I will definitely be back!

Excellent service, very friendly workers. Went in the shop not really knowing what to get my girlfriend, and I was helped immediately, and was very happy with my purchase.

OH MY GOD. YOU PEOPLE NEED TO LEAVE ME ALONE. I get an e-​mail on 05÷10÷15 a week later saying you delivered the flowers? That’s two weeks after the delivery date. Just refund me and leave me alone! This is a nightmare that never ends. What’s wrong with you people. I cancelled the order on THURSDAY 4÷30÷15.

Horrible service, virtually no selection and a very unkempt store.
It didn’t even smell like flowers inside.
I will NEVER come back, Flowers by Maria in the Sycamore plaza is a much better shop.

I really wish I had read reviews before ordering from these incompetant fools. I ordered a bouquet for my friend who had just lost her father and got a confirmation email saying they had been delivered. A few weeks later I learned that she had never received them!
I’ve sent them multiple emails asking for a refund but no one has bothered to get back to me. They don’t pick up their phone, either.

I ordered through 1800 flowers and Conroys was contracted to send the flowers via same day delivery. They knew it was a business and at 6pm they call my wife, ruined the surprise, and told her they will deliver it the next day. Then they proceeded to ask her not to tell me and that they would make it look «really nice». The next day she did not get the flowers and they lied saying they delivered it at 6pm on the doorstep of a business the same day. Then when trying to contact them through 1800 flowers they first said it was delivered, then hung up on them, then did not pick up when they called them back. This place is a total scam. Avoid Avoid Avoid.

Not happy and didn’t get what I wanted. Ordered purple flowers for my daughters birthday. At no point did the guy tell me they didn’t have any purple flowers at all when I placed the ordered. When I arrived to pick up my order, there were no purple flowers in my arrangement. Sadly, there weren’t ANY flowers at all in the store! I asked them to add roses since they messed up and we’ll call it even. She tried to charge me additional for the roses. Unbelievable. Will never order from Conroys.

I ordered flowers yesterday for a friend that was in a car accident. She was safe but it’s a nice gesture, regardless. I chose local instead of 1(800)flowers because they had free delivery.
I placed my order at 10:30am and called at 11:30am to confirm that my order was in place. I even checked with what the latest delivery time is. For apartments it’s 6pm. It even says on on their website. Sees reasonable.
I got am email notification saying that the flowers were delivered, but they weren’t! They were delivered till after 8pm, and by that point the store was closed. NEVER AGAIN WILL I ORDER FROM HERE
What a waste of money. I could have driven and hand delivered my flowers to her.

My boss’ brother passed away and I needed to order a wreath on very, very short notice. Called at 8am the next morning. She had the wreath designed and delivered by 10:30am as promised! Two stars is because the flowers were dying, the wreath was tiny and it was so expensive!

It’s really too bad that 1−800-Flowers didn’t check this florist’s reviews before contracting with them. They completely RUINED the beautiful surprise my husband attempted. He TRIED to have a gorgeous bouquet he picked out sent to me while I was visiting my parents. The bouquet he bought had a $ 60 value (which at Conroys would have gone for $ 150), It was supposed to have multiple red roses, pink roses, gerbera daisies, lillies, alstroemeria… The first attempt at delivery they brought me a bouquet that could be purchased at Walmart for about $ 8. It had 3 red roses, a bunch of CARNATIONS, and 2 gerbera daisies. The card was written by what looked like 2 junior high school boys, in two different colors, and was not even what my husband had instructed to be written on the card.
The excuse the manager gave me was that if the arrangement had been ordered directly from Conroys there would not have been an issue… WHAT!!! Why??? 1−800-Flowers and the customers ordering from them are expecting you to arrange and deliver what was selected and paid for from their site. That’s what you agree to do as a contracted florist. You are the «PRODUCT & SERVICE PROVIDER». You have a 1−800-flowers marquee right over your Conroys one above your door on the street corner.
For the second attempt, I was promised it would be here by 9AM. It came at noon, supposedly because they were working on getting it exactly right. It had half the amount of all the flowers required for the size ordered which made it a small bouquet instead of a medium. It was still missing flowers it was supposed to include. The arrangement was the wrong colors. They said they also included an «upgrade» which was a bunch of gaudy colored gladiolas sticking out of the middle.
Florist are in the «feel good» business. They create arrangements for creating a moment, or beautifying a focal point. Conroys completely failed from the moment the delivery driver hung up on me when he found the address he was looking for, to the 2 cheap attempts at the bouquet that was ordered… and let’s not forget the card.
1−800-flowers has been called. I didn’t blame them for the terrible service and product Conroys delivered, but they are aware now. After seeing all the other unhappy customer reviews, I hope they sever ties.
It’s sad. My family used to use Conroys when I was growing up. I got corsages and boutonnieres for my high school dances from Conroys. Now I see they have been under new ownership the last couple years. No doubt they are losing the customer base they acquired for there terrible product and awful customer service.
Conroys you RUINED my husband’s sweet gesture, and instead made it nightmare dealing with you. See my photos added to the gallery.
