We used them and they never resolved any heating/cooling issue. The most recent and last appointment we had with these people, the guy they sent out showed up 2 hours early for an appointment, while everyone was at lunch. He was trying to tell us he couldn’t come back, but finally nailed him down to come back that day when he said he would be there. He returned, unprepared. He asked which furnace was the problem. He asked us, *he* being the heating repair guy, which furnace was the problem. That is why they were called. Because we don’t know. He asked for a ladder. «Where’s your ladder?» If this is your job, to diagnose the issue and resolve it, would you bring all of your equipment for any possibility? He also instructed an employee that she needed to mark everything so that when he came back, he’d know which thermostat went to which furnace. These people have been here several times. These are the ONLY people this company has used for heating/cooling issues and he, being the heating/cooling guy, did not know anything about the system and our layout. Yet he professed to being in the building several times before. The employee he instructed needed to do all this, she is not a heating/cooling expert. How would she know to do this? Don’t be condescending to an employee who is female. Most of us are not heating/cooling experts and she could run laps around him in the intelligence department until the end of time. He is the heating/cooling guy. This is his job. To figure things out. There was a real sense from these people that they will do the bare minimum and they showed that to us in spades. What was the end result? Another heating guy was called. He was in for 10 minutes and fixed the issue. The new people: He seemingly found the issue without asking many questions. Because this guy is a professional. Mayda & Son’s Mechanical — 360.692.9003 — friendly too.

Absolutely excellent experience. They put in an electric hot water and mini-split system to replace our house’s original, oil-fired radiant heating and domestic hot water system that had keeled over after 20 years(and rising fuel prices). The whole experience went really well, from Tori coming over and assessing the work, through pricing and implementation. Electric had to be run from the other side of the house, and they were able to do so with almost no visible conduit. The cranky, old, diesel-gulping hot water heater was removed with some effort, and the old radiant infrastructure drained and capped off. It was a relief to get hot water again… we’d gone without for a few days, and these guys were able to wire and plumb really quickly and with great results. The mini-splits were also tricky, and the team did a great job of minimizing visible conduit. They even noticed a less intrusive way of mounting the conduit on the 2nd day, and after asking permission undid some work and quickly remounted the conduit in a much better arrangement. I didn’t ask them to, they just knew a better way and took the initiative and effort to fix it, even though they could have let it slide. Kudos to them! It was a tricky and muddy job, too… it rained most of the first day, but the whole team was cheerful and friendly, and took extra care to put down tarps and runners where needed to keep our house mud-free. They even took off shoes without being asked to! All in all, I couldn’t be happier with the job they did. Reasonable price, great job, and really nice folks at every step. A+!

I give Quality Heating 4 stars, which would have only been three if it were not for TORI. She gets 5 stars all by herself. 6 months after installation of my hot water heater and heat pump system, the hot water heater went out. The service rep told me it would take them two days before they could come out and look at it. I got a hold of Tori and she dropped what she was doing to come and take a look at herself. Quality heating staff is very friendly and thier pricing is unbeatable, if they would improve on thier service they would get 10 stars from me.

Great service for my gas fireplace; called to let me know technician would be arriving at the end of the time window they’d originally given me; tech called to let me know he was ½ hour away. Because they were running late, I had about 1.0 hours before I needed to leave for a meeting. Tech finished and cleaned within the necessary time, was professional and friendly(Sam). Used tablet to do the billing — good use of tech. I now have a well working fireplace. My only complaint was that they were so busy I couldn’t schedule this sooner.

Horrible experience, they came to my house to fix my ductless heat pump. The technician had NO clue and asked me if I wanted to buy the«books» he would order them«for me» so he could fix what it turned out to be a clogged drain line, that was fix by another company free of charge! Do not even call then, your 5 year old will show more interest in fixing your problem. This company used to be great, and I had used them in the past, but the last 2 times I had the same experience. Too bad!
