Fast, friendly, professional. I use them for all my smogs. The lady that runs the office keeps everything moving. The technicians always explain any issues.

I won’t go anywhere else. In and out less than 15 mins. nice lady at front desk too. My husband referred me and I referred my family.

Oh man we love these guys! Especially Patty! She is quick, organized and on top of everything! We have a local dealership up the street and smog every single one of our cars through them! They know we are always pressed for time and make it a priority to get us in and out. They are always in communication with us and we really appreciate it! I can honestly say the are all awesome but that place would not be what it is without Patty pulling the strings there. Thank you guys for always taking care of us! We don’t take our cars anywhere else!

I brought my Subaru in today for a smog check, I was informed by a guy with an accent that my car would not pass I needed to drive it more. He then preceded to ask me out!!!
I told him im not interested, and I felt very uncomfortable. I have been here before although never seen this guy. Not planning on coming back any time soon.

Costs about $ 60. Yeah you can find cheaper places to do the work but I swear… These people are so damn fast at this place, its worth the $ 60. I have stuff to do so I like them for that. I even went once when there was like 5 people in front of me and I was still outty in less than 25 min.

First of all, anything smog related I hate. When it comes to my biannual smog I cringe. This was no exception.
I was in a foul mood after spending almost three hours getting a oil change at walmart and in no mood to deal with anyone. I walked in and was greeted by a lady at the front desk (I think her name was Patty but I could be mistaken). She could tell I was flustered and immediately offered my toddler a juice and changed the TV channel to a kids appropriate show. With him occupied I was able to discuss my car, payment etc. she promised my car would be smogged and ready to go in 15 minutes (mind you I was a walk in), and I seriously think it was done in 7 minutes. By the time I left I was calm and thankful the smog was now over with. They even gave me some useful information on my other vehicle which has failed smog in the past.
So in short, five stars… highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back!

Went here planning on getting my vehicle smogged today as I had used them a few years back. I see they were the readers choice of 2010 however for the past 4 years they have not won an award it appears… Hmmmm can only wonder why? The crotchety old lady working the front counter is very rude and has no customer service skills. As I was waiting there to fill out paperwork she was dealing with another customer who I witnessed gave her the correct amount of money 2 $ 20s and 2 $ 10s. Somehow she came up $ 10 short and became upset with him throwing clipboards insinuating it would come out of her pocket if she was unable to find the money. The gentleman stated if she came up short to give him a call and he would return and gladly pay her the $ 10. She became confrontational saying she would not be able to balance her registers for days. After watching her non award winning act for worst actor of the year, I decided to exit the stage and head back to my car. As I was exiting the business she got attitude with me for not wanting to stay and my unwillingness to. nominate her for worst picture. I laughed as did the gentleman who supposedly did not give her the correct amount of money. Together we had a brief conversation as we walked to our cars talking about how we would never return to the business again and in our past experiences they had been cheaper and friendlier. It is quite obvious this lady hates her job and quite possibly her miserable life in general. Based upon my experience this place will not be in business much longer if they continue to employ her.

I took my car here to get a smog and unfortunately it didn’t pass but he told me what was coming up on his end and said that he wasn’t gonna charge me anything and also that he didn’t send in the smog so I can go get repairs done and try again. Very much appreciated.

They were so nice and got my smog done quickly! Thank you for making this unpleasant task not so bad. See you next time!

No complaints! I took my car here to be smogged a couple months ago and everyone was really friendly and helpful! They were ready for my appointment and they worked fast. I was in and out of there within 30 minutes. I will definitely bring my car here again.

I’ll always bring my cars here when the time comes. I trust these guys to be straight with me and honest, which is a difficult thing to come by in the automotive industry. Keep up the good work, guys!

Great local spot with competitive prices. I could not ask for more when getting a smog check!

Seemed at first to be alright, A very nice helpfull employee got my car smogged and broke down the probable causes leaning towards the cheaper fix and not ripping me off with the expensive possibility. but after getting great service and half price on a failed smog check the guy told me to come back down the hill from Tahoe as soon as i could to try and figure out/​fix the issue. After driving back down the hill (round trip $ 60-​gas) from Lake Tahoe i called the place before arriving. A different employee proceeded to tell me the opposite of what i was told before. He said that only smog checks were first come first serve and i needed to make an appointment otherwise. He then told me i could come in and waste my time and money for another smog check???; Acted as if his co-worker’s seemingly educated, honest, and helpfull advice was absurd and idiotic; Tried telling me i needed to make an appointment one week from now then go through some rigerous process of Diagnostic checks and needless work when the two probbible causes were already discovered: as his co-​worker had told me its most likely a cheap sensor and at most a cadillac converter.

First time I tried them. Great service. Friendly folks & professional. The best I have come across. I plan to go back when my other vehicles come due.

the best smog shop EVER, and I was ther wen that xrazy guy was svering and cusing to the employes and he almost had the cops calld on him. He was out of CONTROL so be awear of him because he is looking for action, he MUST BE BY POLARE
