I took my car here for an alignment. My car was pulling to the right. After I got my car back it still was pulling to the right. I called and told them. The lady said to bring it in. So I did. Not 3 minutes later, did she come back and tell me my alignment was good. It was my 3 brand new tires I just purchased an hour ago that were not aligned. I’m pretty sure that my car wouldn’t be pulling the same if they had aligned my car. It just doesn’t make sense. I spent $ 80 for an «alignment». Very dissatisfied. Will be going to a different Goodyear to get my alignment looked at and redone for FREE OF CHARGE.

These guys are amazing. I was in and out in less than 2 hours, for $ 40 cheaper with a better set of tires than quoted by Les Schwab in Placerville. Great customer service, very helpful in answering several questions I had about the tires, and little to no wait time.

Just left the store. This is the first review I have done. The reason for my first review is that I have been here many times and leave very happy every time. Clyde and his staff are top notch and the most professional people I have EVER dealt with in the auto industry. From tires to working on our all wheel drive Cadillac SUV suspension they are second to none. Thank you Clyde and crew!

Went to get a set of tires put on today and the staff was all very friendly and professional. I would defiantly recommend them to a friend. My family and I are new to the area and it’s great to have found a local tire shop to do all my business with.

I used to love this place, but I guess I should have been more private about my naivety in regard to cars. I’ve taken my car here for oil changes, tires and general maintenance for the last couple of years. I took my car in last weekend for an oil change and a tire rotation. At the end of the appointment, the girl at the front desk is giving me recommendations for my next visit and informs me that my rear brakes are at 4%. This totally confused me because only 4 months ago I had to take my car to a different shop (long story) and had new brake pads put on the front and rear, as well as new drums and new rotors. Confused, I mention that I had just taken it in for new brakes. Magically, the brakes she said I needed didn’t end up in my estimate for next time. She also proceeded to say that she had heard that the shop I said I took my car to was shiesty. Bummed and confused (I assume the other shop lied) I left and had my brakes looked at and confirmed that the brake pads were brand new. I know this was not a misunderstanding. They either can’t tell the difference between brake pads at 4% and brand new ones, or she saw an opportunity to take advantage and took it. I wouldn’t recommend coming here unless you just need a quick, cheap oil change or you know cars really well. It really bums me out — these people all seemed really nice. I doubt they are all dishonest, but I can’t afford to risk it.

Love these guys. They are the best. They have been there for me, from a phone call for help to getting quick appointments. They get the job done and treat you like family. I won’t go anywhere else.

What a pleasant surprise! I’ve lived in Shingle Springs for over 20+ years and was disappointed with the unprofessionalism of the former management. I just brought my wife’s car in to give them another chance. Clyde and Jordy are extremely helpful, competent, and trustworthy. I highly recommend this Goodyear franchise.

We are visiting from out of town. Kind of nervous to take our car in, as we know so little about cars, that we would be easy to take advantage of. These folks are wonderful! We got our problem resolved at a very reasonable price. Everyone was so nice! Very professional. Would absolutely recommend

We made an appointment to change all four tires. They said they had the tires we wanted in stock and would hold them for us for the appointment. We arrived for our appointment to find out that they only had three tires. They claimed that one of the tires was sold the day before. They offered a $ 35 discount and said they would replace all four tires the next day. We kept our truck at the shop overnight so they could take care of the tires first thing in the morning, like they said they would do. We arrived to pick up our truck at 3:00, and they still had not put on the new tires. My husband stood at the front counter for more than five minutes waiting for someone to come in from wherever they were. When the service tech finally came to the counter, he told my husband that our truck was next. We refused, asked for our key, and left. I don’t even feel they deserve one star because they failed to provide a service they promised us… twice.

Seriously happy with this Goodyear every time I need them… They continue to provide outstanding service and fair, honest prices. They don’t try to up sell anything that isn’t needed, but give the most fair price with good work for those things that are needed. We will continue to use them for our multiple cars and trucks, not to mention our trailers. Justin and Clyde are the best.

My steering wheel shimmy’s at high speeds, so I thought it would need an alighnment. They inspected my tires and noticed uneven wear and recommended that I come back in a few months for new tires. An alighment would have been a waste of money, but they didn’t take advantage of me.

I give the guys here five stars despite the fact that they were unable to change my oil (through no fault of theirs). They still rotated my tires and topped off the fluids free of charge. Wonderful customer service.

Love these guys. The most honest and reasonably priced auto repair/​tire shop I have ever gone to. They are always straight up about when my tires need to be changed as well as other repairs. So many times over the past 5 – 6 years they could’ve nailed me for various repairs that I thought I needed (maybe I heard a weird noise or noticed a leak) and these guys consistently are honest. I really appreciate it. I went there just today and they came through for me again.

Great service. The only tire place on Hwy 50 west of Reno that’s open Sunday. Got us in and out super quick.

I have been getting my tires and tire repair with Good Year on Durock for the last 5+ years. They have always done well by me with price and customer service. I am constantly on a tight budget and they have ALWAYS worked with me and made things work with my budget. Today one of my tires decided that it would look beautiful with a giant screw in it. I was at work, couldn’t get away so I had my truck towed there from Placerville, they patched the hole for $ 20 and saved my day! The screw in the tire was the cherry on top of a turd sundae of a day so I was so happy to have reliable service! THANK YOU!

We’ve used this store several times now, and while the staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, etc., we have continued to have unsatisfactory experiences. I recently went in with a bad tire that needed to get replaced. When I called several hours later, they said it was finished. In reality, the bad tire had not been replaced and when brought to their attention, they quickly apologized and put the new one on. What if I had driven off not realizing the error? Trusting this was just an honest mistake, we went in again to have additional work done. We just got the vehicle back and they failed to put back together a substantial part of the air flow system, it was literally just sitting loose when I opened the hood. Needless to say, I think I’m going to take my chances somewhere else from now on. Sorry Goodyear, we tried!

I took my vehicle here when I thought Big-​O in Shingle Springs was trying to rip me off. Big-​O claimed that I needed new brake bads, which I doubted. I let the people at Good Year know about my issue and they put my vehicle up on the rack, pulled my brake pads, and showed me that there was quite a bit of pad left on them. They also quoted me a price on changing them that was $ 60 less than Big-​O. Thank you Good Year. You will be getting my future automotive business. Big-​O sucks.
