This place was very disappointing to me… I called in advance to see if they had an italian mascato i was looking for… I asked twice over the phone and they said yes… So, I drove out and guess what they didn’t carry it… the guy had said oh I thought you said you were looking for a sherry? What? How does moscato and sherry sound alike? They didn’t even carry ANY Italian wines! The store is small and cramped and no one said hi when I walked in… they seemed to have a good selection of wines but NOT from all over the world as the name of the store claims.

Totally overpriced crap wines. Bring your opener with you bc likely what you bought will be spoiled. GROSS! Save your time and go across the street to Whole Foods. Same price point for *much* better wine!

Pretty sure they make up the prices on the spot. I grab a beer on a shelf that says $ 6.99 on it and then take it to cashier and his immediate response is $ 13. I had the blankest look on my face. No ID and nothing.

This store is good. They are at a very convenient location. You could go to the Blue Dog for one beer or buy a bottle of wine for about the same price right next door at Wines of the World. Whole Foods is also right near by, but I prefer going here because it seems like a family run business, and I like supporting that. I’ve yet to buy any chocolate here, though I am always tempted by the Mint Aero bars, and I really appreciate that they brought in European candy to sell along side the Hershey’s and Nestle’s we all know. The staff are pretty quiet, and they usually are watching TV when there’s no one at the counter, but they’re friendly enough and have randomly commented on my purchases every now and again, saying they tried what I was buying and liked it. It’s nothing to travel to if you live in Pasadena or even Van Nuys or Encino, but for a neighborhood market, it does its job.

British chocolate bars! Exotic drinks and the regular ol corner shop things. The location lends to its slightly above market price tags. But when you have to drive almost two miles down a hill, the price of convince pans out. All the other small shops around are evenly priced. This one is family run so I love it.

I love this store. They have exotic wines and spirits for great prices and the staff are chill. I come here when I really want something nice and rare without having to take out a loan like at whole foods.(i love that place too, but this is a liquor store.) One that goes out of its way to carry the good shit, the great shit, and the cheap shit. Pick your poison. I bought a gun here that was filled with repasado tequila. Coolest thing in my home bar. They also carry alot of candy you cant find easily in the states. Dark chocolate kit kat from England, the REAL ritter sport from Germany, and lots of other yum yums. Several people have even come away with a nice lotto prize from this store. YAY!

Convenience, Convenience, Convenience. That’s my catch phrase for this little nook of a shop. You might be shocked, but I don’t come here for the booze. My God! Emily, what?! Yeah, yeah. I know. This little guy is right across the street from my office building. So… ahem…no drinking on the job. Nestled all the way at the back of the store, behind the aisles of booze, beer and wine, is my aisle. The sober aisle. They’ve got convenience sized snacks along with nonalcoholic beverages for those of us who don’t want to pay Whole Foods prices for our Pellegrino fix. The folks who work here are not chatty, but they’re efficient. And don’t forget the lotto ticket on the way out the door. You never know… you might get ‘lucky.’

This is a cute liquor store located in a small center and busy part of Sherman Oaks. The reason for 2 stars, the staff. You are stared at and always made to feel unwelcome. No amount of smiling, no amount of returning and buying products thaws this staff. I’m done. Going elsewhere for snacks, lotto tickets and booze.

Great selection of hard booze, wines, ports, sherries, Champagne, as well as lots of random snacks, gum, candy, etc. It’s not BevMo or Vendome in scale, but pretty dang good for a corner store in Sherman Oaks. Next door to the Blue Dog Beer Tavern.
