Mr Dryclean

Horrible horrible customer service. Waited 10 minutes to be helped, rang the bell, the people who were helping inside asked for the «receptionist» to come… Nothing happened. I left. No one ever came to help. I’ve been there once before sand they are very good cleaners but way too busy. Located near numerous office buildings they have their hands too full for s few of my items I guess…

I’m new to the area and needed to find a new dry cleaner. I came to this place through a reference from a colleague as my office is nearby. So far, it has not disappointed! They get the job done quickly (sometimes same day), the prices seem fair and I’ve been happy with the work. I will continue to take my business here.

They overcharge and then don’t even dry clean but launder the clothes instead. Like I am not going to notice my shirt is 2 sizes too small. Somehow she is going to fix it. No refund. No I’m sorry. They do not care about your business just the money they are stealing from you.

I recently moved to the Sherman Oaks area, and needed to secure a new dry cleaning spot in the neighborhood.
Well guess what?! I am extremely satisfied with the outcome of Mr. Dryclean. The front desk staff and the dry cleaning crew is extremely friendly. Their quality of dry cleaning services is crisp and clean — the way dry cleaning should be.
Prices are rather reasonable here, and they also do fluff and fold laundry for you at $ 2 per pound. Their fluff and fold is extremely popular, as I know many professional tenants in my apartment building choose the fluff and fold service in addition to their regular dry cleaning as it saves plenty of time and hassle of washing, drying and folding your laundry.
Mr. Dryclean is located in the heart of Sherman Oaks, right near Ventura Blvd., in the same parking lot as Blue Dog and El Pollo Loco by Whole Foods and the ⁴⁰⁵⁄₁₀₁ freeways.

They are ok.

I love this place. They know me and my husband. I can drop and dash when I am in a rush. They never disappoint and the plant is on site — which is a must for me! Prices are right as well.

My go-​to place when I need stuff cleaned and pressed. They provide fast and thorough service without having to sacrifice good customer relations. They don’t just leave it at the basic wash: they make sure that their final product has no stains, not even the smallest speck. This is where I bring my boyfriend’s suits, his work uniforms, and his other stuff that I don’t think I could wash on my own. I’ve brought a couple of my formal wear in here and they make them look as if they were brand-​spanking-​new.

This place never disappoints. I have two more great experiences which I’d like to review.
1) My workplace needed some safety vests laundered– probably about 75– 100 vests. I suggested this place because it was very close and because I know they would do a good job with a very quick turnaround. Which they did. What I did not expect was how nicely the vests were folded and packaged when we picked them up. This went over really well with the higher ups :)
2) My dog vomited on our bedspread– at around noon. I cannot sleep without a quilt, and I can’t put it in the washer, either. So– I took it there hoping upon hope that they would be able to wash it for me same day. And they did– they were very understanding about my issue and had it done for me after 5PM– real lifesavers!

I just started using Mr. DryClean after having a really bad experience with my former dry cleaner — you know what they say, «Once bitten, twice shy.» So, I visited several dry cleaners, and asked all kinds of questions before choosing Mr. DryClean. They have not let me down, I am so pleased. To date, I’ve taken in 21 garments, and they have been consistently careful and meticulous — each piece of clothing looks great when they’re done. So far, so good!

My go-​to place for my dry cleaning needs. Never had any real issues here. Han and his crew are very nice.

They have always done a great job, bit too pricey though.

I have yet to find another dry cleaners closer to my house that I trust with my clothes. So I drive 30mins out of my way to get my dry cleaning done here. Peace of mind is priceless.

We took our couch covers here the week before our wedding since we were going to have guests over. We were told they would be done by the next day but when I went to pick them up, part of it was bright pink! The covers were originally white! They wouldn’t have even told me either but I happened to check them and noticed it right away. They asked to keep the covers until the next morning to get the pink out so I agreed. I asked them what would happen if the pink didn’t come out and the guy just gave me a blank stare and said it’ll come out. I said what if it doesn’t and he kept responding with it will come out. Finally I gave up trying to get a straight answer and when we went the next morning, they weren’t ready and they said it wouldn’t be done until the afternoon. We came back after work and the same part of the covers were still pink. They just said that that part that turned pink doesn’t show on the front of the couch but I said that wasn’t the point. We were in a rush though and they offered no discount, not even an apology. We will never go back.

20 min after closing, I come rolling with wet laundry; both dryers in my apartment complex were broken. Haun opened the place up to me— first time client!!– and took my laundry in to dry. I’ll be picking it up tomorrow. If Haun hadn’t taken my laundry in, I’d still be on a dryer search at this moment. This place is great! And, enviornmentally friendly.

Amazing Service. The owner, Han (sorry if I misspelled it), was Great!!! Very Professional and solved my dry cleaning woes. That’s what a good business is all about. They don’t just dryclean your clothes. They listen to you as a person and make sure the customer is happy. Thanks Han and to all the staff at Mr. Dryclean. Merry Christmas!!!

Our dryer was on the blink for seven weeks — so used Mr. Dryclean for fluff and fold. They were friendly, and the pricing seemed reasonable. F&F is expensive if you are used to doing your own laundry, but it was convenient and much more tolerable than hitting the laundromat on a weekend. They lost my laundry bag, though, and their folding and sorting leaves something to be desired, but overall, they did a fine job. Also, it was quick — drop off Day 1 and pick up after 5:00 on Day 2.

How does one review a dry cleaner? I can’t say I love this dry cleaner, because, well, love is reserved for people, pets, and sometimes food. But I have to say I make a visit to Mr. Dryclean about once a week to have some shirts cleaned or a missing button sewn on and they have only disappointed me once. They shrank one of my shirts, but were very cool about it and gave me some store credit.
They usually will turn your laundry around in 24 hours and have very reasonable rates. There is rarely a wait. The parking lot can be a bit of a clusterf*ck around lunchtime or late in the day, but other than that, I have to say that this place is completely reliable.
