Time 2 Fix

I brought in my wifes necklace for Mike to fix and he went above ans beyond in making sure its fixed and back to normal. Mike is very caring and very particular in his work. I will be back for sure… thanks.

Several visits since my original review and the service is outstanding as always. Time to Fix is an absolute pleasure to work with and they treat you well. The work is quick and professional. I can’t recommend them enough!

I just moved to the area and I was so exited to bring my jewelry here because it is very close to my new place and I always have work for a jeweler. This time I brought 3 watches to have the battery replaced, one gold bracelet to shortened, and a white gold ring to polish and remove some small scratches. Everything was fine at the time I was at the store. When the owner was going start polishing the ring, he keep asking me if the ring was white gold and I said YES a couple of times. When I left I noticed that the white gold ring was not shiny anymore compared to the rest of my jewelry. I came back the same day and asked the owner what happened. He said that because he polished he removed the top layer and underneath the ring is more yellow color and more opaque. He said that I can bring it back when he purchase some rhodium and he can dip the ring in it. Doing that it will give the shine and silver look to the ring but it will cost me $ 40 dlls extra on top of what I paid. I paid about $ 65 dlls for everything. I was furious. Not only he never told me that polishing a white gold ring it would loose the shine, also he wanted to charge me to get it back to normal. If he had mentioned that ahead of time I would never request that service. Btw I went through hell with the company that made the ring. I ended loosing about 3 – 4 months in trying to fix it.

Went here based on Unilocal reviews, and I’m so glad I did! I had broken a gold box chain and brought it in hoping it could be repaired. Gary looked it over and said it could be laser soldered, which made me very happy! I also asked if they could replace the clasp, and he said they could do both, while I waited! In less than 10 minutes, Mike worked magic on my chain — I can’t even see where the repair was made! Very reasonable service with a smile! I’ll definitely be back, and I’ll tell all my friends to come here, too!

First off, amazing customer service! I came here to get my engagement ring resized and was very happy with the result and service! He offered to let me watch him the entire time he resized my ring so I wouldn’t worry about the diamond getting switched & right away, I felt relieved.
He was closing when I arrived and stayed an extra hour just to help me out!
When he was cutting the metal, it actually fell on the floor somewhere and got list in the mix, but he assured me that he’d find it and when he did, he’d call. I wasn’t too worried about it as it was such a small piece of platinum but he insisted he’d find it. In the meantime, he gave an extra piece of platinum to replace the one he’d lost.
A few days later he called me telling me he found it and to come by and grab it! — really went above and beyond here!
Great place to come here if you ever need to get a precious piece of jewelry fixed/​repaired/​resized. Highly recommend him!!!

I brought a large ruby ring in a few days ago, needing it to be sized down alot from its current size 9. Everyone was super helpful, made sure I had the right new size, and they were even able to size it all the way down to a 5 ¾ without adding any additional metal inside the band. Very quick– the ring was done only a few hours after I dropped it off. Thank you!

Dropped my Burberry glasses, which, while stylish, aren’t super well made, and this tiny piece popped out and disappeared near the left hinge. Unfortunately, given that I need my glasses to see and without that piece they’re very hard to wear, I needed a quick fix. I Unilocaled Time 2 Fix, which was only blocks away from where I had just had lunch. I went on over, and while originally the proprietor said he could have it Monday or Tuesday, when I explained the situation, he told me he’d get it done before closing today (I arrived shortly after 2). True to his word, he got it done, explained to me the work he did, and charged a fair price (which I was told in advance). No hitches. While hopefully this won’t happen again on the other side, if I were anywhere near the Valley, I know where I’d go.

Mike is amazing. He has helped me out so many times, for a few different things:
Resized my engagement ring
Solder together two different types of metal to help me create a unique brooch.
Fixing my watches (batteries, pins falling out, etc.)
He’s beyond friendly and the pricing is super fair. He also works in a timely manner. I’m a customer for life.

Terrific work. I had a ring that I chipped the stone on. I wasn’t sure if anyone could even fix it. He didn’t blink an eye said «no problem.» He did a terrific job, was very professional and friendly and the price was reasonable.

I needed to get a ring resized and stopped off to see what they could do. My ring is fully engraved around the outside and unfortunately it wasn’t easy to make smaller. Gary suggested a ring guard which be installed and polish to make fit perfectly. He charge me $ 6! Wow $ 6. Fast friendly easy and a bargain.

Mike is the BEST. He resized our engagement ring up one size and didn’t charge for the extra platinum and we couldn’t even tell that it was resized. We are taking all of our rings and watches and any jewelry work from now on.

Mike is simply AMAZING! Such a fair and honest man who is also incredible at what he does. He is always forthcoming and understands that you are leaving your valuables with him so he tries to make you feel as comfortable as possible. He insists that you stay and watch him work on your piece for YOUR peace of mind. I don’t know very many jewelry repairmen that would do that! He re-​sized my engagement ring and you can’t tell at all that it was ever altered. He does that clean of a job! Now I’m taking my husbands wedding band in for a re-​sizing and I bet it will look flawless once Mike is done with it. All in all, I would never go anywhere else.

I am so happy I found this repair shop. This is the kind of small business we need in the valley. Super friendly, great prices, and fast service. I took them 3 broken sunglasses and 3 watches needing batteries, and they were done in 15 minutes. I will never go anywhere else to have my sunglasses and watches repaired.
Just know that they are in the big plaza on the second floor. Parking is so easy.

I bought a chain belt that was too big for me and needed it shortened. I took it in and it took 5 minutes to fix and only 5 dollars. Guy at the counter was friendly. Great service and didn’t rip me off! Definitely will be going back.

Now I can extend the life of all my eye glasses (!) and support a charming, honorable local businessman too.
I have to wear titanium frames so when my overprice Chanel frames broke in less than 2 years, I was peeved. Lens Crafters sent me to Mike, who skillfully soldiered the tough-​to-​work-​with titanium and taught me how to clean the lenses more gently. It’s been over 6 months and my glasses seem as strong as ever!
Come to think of it, I might take my last few broken frames to Mike so I can have great backups.

Mike is so honest and helpful. Service with a smile. Such a rare commodity in this world these days. My husband has taken several watches to him for service and I take all of our jewelry to him. My mother-​in-​law visits from Canada and she also buys from him. He is definitely our «family» jeweler.

This update is just to confirm how great this place is. Since my last review I have had my wedding band resized here and currently my fiancé’s wedding band is being hand made. This owner is incredibly nice and it is obvious he has been in this business a very long time. His Skill is very evident in all he does. I love this place!

COME TO MIKE! YOU WILL SEE FOR YOURSELF WHY HE’S the best! Advice to the world: this place is honest, efficient, affordable and reliable! I know that sounds like an ad but really it’s true! All those cliché words like «reliable» «affordable» they’re all true… you need to come here!
I brought in my engagement ring and wedding band. Mike cleaned it and also secured a few stones that were loose and about to fall out. He walked me through each step of the process and what I loved about him was that he showed me the loose stones through a microscope. I saw it for myself and he was right they were about to fall out. I didn’t feel cheated whatsoever.
He also fixed my charm bracelet from Tiffany’s. He took very good care of me and even gave me a free sterling silver charm!
Both my jewelry pieces that I wear every day are now in better condition than ever.

Amazing service and really fast. A silver necklace broke that is pretty sentimental to me and Mike was able to laser weld it together while I waited. I probably waited about 10 – 12 minutes max and voila good as new.
He also cleaned it and said to come in for some vintage type polish free of charge when I get back. Amazing. Glad places like this exist.
