I’ve been coming here since the day I turned 18, for renewals and my very first recommendation. The staff is very friendly, and a laid back environment. The doctor’s are very serious about what they do, this isn’t just a place where just anyone can get a recommendation. I’ve been medicating for almost 3 years now, treating severe anxiety, chronic depression, insomnia, and adhd. It’s also helped me curb my appetite, I used to overeat and I’ve lost 25 lbs medicating! Thank you to the doctor’s at GEM they have helped me out immensely, and the receptionists are always very kind.

I almost didn’t write a review but I will. Patient since 2002. Went to this guy to renew WITH HIM for my third year, prior I love Sana Patel, and also old Alan Frankle, he may not still be around, anywho you get my point… what a joke this place turned into. Nobody was even in the whole office it was sketch at first I thought this was too sketch. I came smack in the middle of bus. Hours. Some rude man with a heavy accent from the back yells «nobody is here»…I say «OK.» He repeats «nobody here». Mind you the door is wide open and its one in the afternoon on a Saturday. I should have known those businesses right there are all so mmj entitled lmao. Over Nada go north of Burbank blvd it’s always better. So the guy then yells from the back. «He went to best buy…» Never once shows his face and there is all kinds of forms for and by patients to fill out on the counter and the desk. I reply ‘OK do you know when he will be back its in the middle of business hours…” His reply lol… and I’m sure I heard the weirdo Dr correctly… «He comes back when I go back to work…». At this point I had enough, because you do this is as a career doesn’t mean you negate the fact it’s a business. How hard is that to understand? Your mmj business, IS still… (Wait for it…) A place of business. I kindly informed him sternly I was there to renew for my third year with him, nevermind and I would be running as fast as my legs could carry me to Dr Aldrige or back to Dr. Patel. From someone VERY WELL versed as a patient for twelve years. Don’t waste your time. What a joke they’ve turned into. My first year was great. Last year the girl was rude and the price changed, I stuck around, but this year… forget it. It’s 2015.

I just walked in for an appointment to renew my cannabis license and WHAT A MISTAKE!!!
This clinic/“doctor’s office” was completely unprofessional and rude! I gave the balding man behind the desk a calling card with renewal prices on it. It had a $ 5 off coupon that the balding man so rudely refused to honor! I had already gotten to see the doctor and all was taken care of till I came to pay. I walked out bc the guy wouldn’t honor his OWN coupon!
You definitely have many choices of doctors available for new Id and renewal. I would highly recommend using a different office if service is of any concern to you.
If you don’t mind being subject to embarrassment and rudeness, this is the place for you!

In and out super quick, and the doc is freaking hilarious. Super cheap renewal and no forced up selling, bogus fees, hassle, etc.

I came here on ⁴⁄₂₀ last year to get my renewal with my brother. The office was easy to find right on ventura blvd. and the hours where perfect for when we got off work at 4pm. The girl at the front desk was very nice and we didn’t need an appointment. They had a great 420 special last year and im sure they will have even better ones for the ⁴⁄₂₀ coming up, the doctor was nice and legit. the process was fast and convenient and the cherry on top is how they are above a collective. so you can get approved and go get your meds all in one shot. Came in and got my renewal in about 30 min tops. Best part of it all was, I got it for $ 20 because they price matched a competitor… although I think it’s stupid that you «must» have a recommendation to medicate, I recommend this spot to you Unilocaloids because it’s a forsure thing. No worries, just come in and wait to see the «doctor»

google these guys and I got that they are not legal and not licensed, did a search on the california medical board and did not find them. I will skip it.,

I was nervous at first but when i came in they were very professional place was very clean nice they had the coffe machine going. Doctor was super nice guy made the whole experience very easy and comfortable one of the best marijuana doctors in the valley i think.
