It takes about one month to get a response (if you are lucky to get one), and rather than email it, they would rather spend my homeowners money on postage to send something. I’ve had their vendors do severe damage to my property which caused thousands of $ of damage and their vendors constantly harass me. No response from homeowners — and I’m paying for this lack of service, where is my money going I wonder? Oh that’s right to the lawsuits the management has been a part of and failed to disclose to homeowners, as they’d rather waste my money again by not showing up in court and having to pay out judgments.

I have worked with Leah Carbone for over 4 years. She is amazing to say the least. She is very professional and knowledgeable about all aspect of Property Management and very friendly and easy to work with. Nothing really remarkable in dealing with this company, either good or bad… except for their handyman. His name is Jahir, and I couldn’t find a Unilocal page for him. He was the absolute worst service person I’ve ever encountered. Every single time I needed something fixed – EVERY SINGLE TIME – he would show up, seem pleasant, then screw it up. It took him two months to fix a mistake he made with my blinds. He would cancel last minute, show up late without apology, and just generally fail at everything. Platinum didn’t provide me with a different person. So, until this guy is fired, beware of their maintenance services.

Platinum Property Management was very responsive and helpful when I had issues with one of their West LA apartments. Vanessa was great with communicating and solving the problems quickly. This is the first management company that is helpful and not dismissive.

Platinum and Vanessa were always very helpful and understanding when it came to maintanence needing to be done at our rental home. I would recommend renting from this compariy as it is so difficult to find a good landlord or landlady in Los Angeles these days

Pick another management company. This one keeps your security deposit (other companies give to owner with first months rent), doesn’t allow owners to approve tenants (never heard of this from other co’s), only uses expensive preferred vendors even for basic handyman work and will not provide basic services like checking to validate tenant maintenance requests (so if complaint is bogus, you will still pay for the preferred vendor –at the minimum rate– for doing nothing). There are other mgmt companies better run with great services and cheaper rates.

Vanessa and her staff didn’t give up on many attempts to get me a home with everything I wanted in it. Oct 2013 her company ‘Platinum Property Management’ found me that home and I couldnt be happier. The process in which she handled it was the best I’ve come to experience. Quick and painless! I strongly recommend landlords and tenants to use her company/​services. You will not be disappointed! Thank you Vanessa and staff for helping me feel more at home in my new house than I have since venturing to california 12 years ago.

In the Summer of 2013 I started my search for a property management company to lease and manage my house. This was my first time venturing into the world as a «Landlord». There are so many things that go into managing a property I knew I wouldn’t be able to handle it all on my own. I met with Vanessa and she walked thru my property and suggested things that would need fixing and educated me on what the process is like to find a renter and to manage the property. She was very well versed and made me feel really comfortable that I ended up handing her the keys on our initial meeting. I am now settled into my new job and condo and I feel at ease knowing that I have someone I can trust watching over my property. Thank you Vanessa!
