I absolutely love Dr. Franco and his entire staff. They do everything from getting rid of wrinkles to making you skinny. They carry Glo Minerals, which I love! They also have all kinds of face and hair products. Wonderful experiences here, had to share!

I use Dr. Franco for my filler on forehead (botox). He has great artistry and always touches me up to make me look 5 years younger. Recently tried Larry for a Facial and I am wowed by the results. The peel softened my look by several years and smoothed out all of my acne scars. Between the two of these gentlemen, you are in great hands! Thank you to you both for making me feel beautiful again.

If you need to lose weight, go see Dr. Franco. You will lose it if you really want to. I drive over an hour to go see him and I’ll tell you what — it was worth it.

I love Dr Franco! I was super nervous about taking the first step, I’m sure glad I did. The only regret is that I didn’t call sooner! Non judgmental environment. He really wants to help you succeed and If you do exactly as he tells you there is no way you won’t. Wonderful results after only 2 months! And the office girl will cheer you on! Highly recommend!

I have been going to Dr Franco for over 10 years, he can take5 to 10 years off your face and he is a specialist in many other fields to improve yourself, he is
very understanding, staff is extremely polite friendly and the office manager Larry is always a pleasure to see, he is always there to greet you, every year Larry decides to change the office theme and it’s always a pleasure going back to see what’s new, I have always recommended Dr Franco in his office to male and female friends one cannot help but to get older but to do it graciously he can make a 50 year old looks like a 40 year old or even better depending on you but don’t expect a 50 year old to look like a 21 year old he isgreat but he can only do so much, he is not magician

Dr Franco rocks! I went to a bunch of other doctors– groups deals, like most people I want to save a buck– and really and truly you get what you pay for. Dr Franco is a real Dr– not a trained esthetician, and it shows. Do yourself a favor and just go to Dr Franco.

Dr. Franco seems like a nice guy, but my last visit with him was a disaster. I had a small imperfection on my skin right between my eyes and I asked him to remove it. He did not warn me that this would result in a large pockmark scar. I never dreamed I would end up with a large depressed circular scar right between my eyes. It is very noticable and much worse than the small thing that was there in the first place. I think that he should have warned me that there was the possibility of a significant scar. He did not, Now I am heartbroken as I cannot cover this up with makeup and after nearly 6 months it is still very prominent. I have consulted a plastic surgeon who is going to attempt some treatments. He has told me that this will be a very difficult scar to treat and that I cannot expect much improvement. How I wish Dr. Franco had just said something about how this might turn out. I would never have gone through with it. I really feel that my looks are ruined, all because I wanted to have a tiny little bump removed. Many tears have shed over this. And so obviously I can’t recommend this doctor.

I love Dr. Franco and he so down to earth and kind. I was recommended to Dr. Franco by a friend of mine when we worked on a television show together. I worked on a hit network show for four years and a lot of people I know have been going to him & recommended him.
He’s well known and very convenient, near Fulton & Riverside.
His prices are good and he knows what he’s doing. If you are looking for a solid, dependable, reputable doctor close by in Sherman Oaks, you found him. Dr. Franco knows how to make you look your best and is really affordable.

Julie G., you’re a bitch. First of all the «old blond guy» as you put it lost half his face to cancer. Why don’t find out the facts before you make a horrible statement about someone you know nothing about. And I suspect that you’re jealous of the hot young women that work in that office because you never did nor ever will be able to fit in the tight fashion forward clothing they wear.
On a nicer note, I love Dr. Franco. He’s knowledgeable, I always feel and look refreshed after treatments and no one suspects that I’ve had any injection. My friends say I look well rested. He’s also reasonably priced compared to several others that my friends go to. And I look better!

In my never-​ending search for the fountain of youth (without looking ridiculous) I found Dr. Franco and his director, Larry. I mention Larry because he is the licensed aesthetician who performs the peels… and what fabulous peels they are! A package of 3 is $ 190 and the treatment is a full hour. The peels are strong but not debilitating and you can go about your usual activity the same day. You will look like you went skiing or spent a day at the beach. The mild peeling lasts about 3 days. I like to go monthly to keep lines at bay. I also like the Franco Formula skin care line. It is much more advanced than the usual fare and I never feel oversold. FYI fellow moms: My then-​teenage son also greatly benefited from the acne treatments.
Added bonus-​the office feels luxurious and the prices are reasonable-​my fave combination!

I absolutely don’t agree with the others. Terrible doctor. He is and looks stupid. Can’t even write a single prescription without grabbing that pdr medication book. And that old blond guy, oh boy… someone needs to tell him that he looks like a monster. The black girl who works there was very rude and looked like a hooker the way she was dressed and the white girl with black hair, she was the only one who seemed a little normal. Please don’t get fooled because they offer you a soft drink or tea, please save yourself and don’t go to this horrible doctor because I’m not even sure if he’s a real dermatologist. Trust me, he’ll mess your face up with Botox and filler injectables. You’ll regret the time and money you spent there.

I abosultely LOVE DR FRANCO! I have seen dramatic results with his weight loss program. He and his staff tought me everyhting I need to know about what to eat, how to eat, etc. They just remodeled thier office and it is so upscale, comforting, classy, I mean just perfect. They are honest and will get you where you need to be! I lost 30 pounds total over three months (i cheated a little lol) and have kept the weight off for over a year thanks to Dr. Franco!

Botox is too watered down and expensive, not worth my time or money. Went to my room and I heard someone taking a dump in the next room over, minutes later the smell got into my room. Stuck inside of a fecal gas chamber is not my idea of classy. Save your time and money.

I have been seeing Dr. Franco for over ten years now, pretty close to when they opened. He is a fabulous Dr. I get all kinds of services from him. I also go to Larry the Esthetician. He is also an artist at what he does. The staff is always very friendly. The office is beautiful and very warm. You feel like you are in a Doctors office because they are all very efficient, but the atmosphere makes it more like a doctor coming to your home. (so to speak) I recommend him to all my friends with confidence.

I don’t even remember how I found Dr. Franco (was it Unilocal?) but I have been going to him for Botox for at least a year now. Perhaps 4 visits total. At first the office seemed odd as everyone was wearing black. Dr. Michael Franco, while very VERY nice seemed odd to me at first. But after a couple of visits i totally felt at home and now I really feel VERY safe in his hands and I think he’s a true, state of the art professional as well as a sweet, very smart guy. Okay, there’s this other guy in his office who does other things including hair cut and color (how can that be?! Botox and a hairdo?!). He — I think his name is Larry? Is wonderful as well. On a different note, Larry and Michael have decorated the office with Xmas décor the likes of which I have never seen before. I was blown away when I first walked in. You have never seen Xmas decorations so beautifully & creatively displayed. Seriously. It’s worth a vist just for the view.

If you have a WEIGHT PROBLEM, you NEED to go to Dr. Franco, he’s a JEWEL!
Prior to going to Dr. Franco, I managed to loose 100 lbs. on my own, but it took a lot of years to accomplish that weight loss. Now, that may sound like quite an accomplishment, but I was still over weight by about 60 to 80 lbs. I kept loosing weight in my legs and butt — I had a tummy that stuck out father than my boobs (sorry, breast).
I cannot begin to express how discouraging it is to deal with a weight problem for so many years. Especially, a person who was not fat all her life and could remember the days when she was active, healthy, and HAD a good figure.
Dealing with weight gain from seven pregnancies and eventually peri-​menopause, put me on the road to uncontrollable eating binges. I felt like the BOTTOMLESS PIT — always hungry, never satisfied — all I could think about was engulfing a lake of chocolate or killing a cow like some venomous vampire.
I wanted a slim body in my old age and wanted to enjoy the remainder of my years free from the burden of weight. BUT, It was taking SOOO LONG, I decided to accept the body I had and decided to consult with a plastic surgeon asking what improvements could be made.
The first words out of the plastic surgeon’s mouth was, «Are you planning on loosing more weight? Because if you are, I would hate to have you go through surgery until you have finished loosing the weight. I would like you to get to a comfortable size for you — something within reason, before we do any work.»
Before I knew it, I was responding, «YES! I want to loose more weight.» (All I could think, «I’m crazy for saying, YES — I’ll be DEAD before I reach my goal.) «Doctor, is there someone you can recommend?»
Plastic Surgeon, «Yes, as a matter of fact, I want you to know, I have never been impressed with diet doctors until now. This man was sending clients to me, I was impressed how good they looked, so much so, I had to check him out for myself. He is Board Certified and an expert in his field. You will be in excellent hands under his care — I have complete confidence in him — he is the only diet doctor I have ever recommended.»
Needless to say, I have been with Dr. Franco since the beginning of December 2009. I am 43 lbs lighter as of yesterday. He has NOT stapled my stomach nor put any bands on. He gave me the simplest diet program with proper medication and exercise. BOY O’ BOY! is it working — and FAST — not only am I loosing weight, but my blood pressure has gone down and I have more energy then ever — I have a feeling, I am going to reach my goal before I’m DEAD.
Dr. Franco has a casual elegance, lends a listening ear, and directs you through the process of a «LIFE STYLE.» He has a way of making you feel it’s «EASY» — his demeanor works. I have never felt rushed and feel as if I am his only patient, he accomplishes his visits in a timely manner.
His staff is the BEST, always trying to make you feel comfortable and willing to answer all your questions. Of course, a good looking staff.
I read the other reviews and there wasn’t anything I did not agree with.

I was referred to Dr. Michael Franco by two friends of mine. I went, and I am so glad that I did.
When I first walked in, I was a little nervous. The office is very chic.
Dr. Franco is gorgeous, as is his entire staff. Larry, Q. Jennifer, and Enison are stunning. So much so that as a middle aged woman, feeling in need of quite a lot of «refreshing», I was a little daunted when I first entered. Yet they are so warm, friendly, and caring, that they put me at ease immediately.
Dr. Franco and his staff explain everything carefully. I wasn’t rushed in and out, nor was I parked in a back examination room until a much later time when someone could get to me, without any explanation, as so often happens in some practices.
My father was a doctor, and most of my family are doctors in the Midwest. That does raise your standards of what you expect from an M.D.
Fortunately, I’ve now found Dr. Franco. He is a throw back in terms of his bedside manner, taking the time to talk to you, and answer any questions, before beginning treatment. He is a far younger, more hip version than my dad, but the great doctor stuff is all in there.
His shining intelligence, yet caring manner, were just what I had been missing. At the same time, he is cutting edge in his knowledge of Cosmetic Dermatology and in how the entire body functions as well. I love that his office has a comprehensive approach to beauty, and that he treats the patient in their entirety.
In particular, he is treating me for a facial scar that the last two doctors I saw said I would just have to «get used to», or camouflage. That’s fine when there is no alternative, but to discover that Dr. Franco does not even consider it a challenge to repair the scar, makes me regret not searching harder for someone of his caliber a long time ago.
If your New Year’s resolutions involve any plans to remodel your skin, hair, and body, and you want to experience a top doctor, I can’t recommend Dr. Franco and his entire staff highly enough. I only wish I had found him a long time ago.

OMIGOD. this guy is the real deal!
Dr. Franco specializes in cosmetic dermatology, but I’ve been seeing him for medical weight loss. His office is in a crappy looking medical office bldg in Sherman Oaks from the outside, but once inside the dimly lit waiting area, the office staff offers you something to drink to relax you. The wait is never long, but the music is more modern and not the typical MUSIAK you get in doctor’s offices. The fireplace is always lit, and the gorgeous staff is always dressed in black. Very chic. for a doctor’s office. ;)
The treatment rooms are a bit chillier of course, but Dr. Franco’s personality is wonderful. I’ve called that I was arriving late for an appointment and they will try to fit me in. In the 6 – 8 weeks I have been seeing the doctor, I have lost 15 pounds. He took the time to go over the weight loss process and diet with me, almost 30 minutes on my initial visit. He’s not cheap, but reasonably priced. $ 160/​initial visit and $ 80/​every two weeks after. He checks blood pressure and heart on subsequent visits. The cost of his visits INCLUDE the cost of medication! That won me over as diet pills can be quite pricey. Medical weight loss through Dr. Franco includes Diet pills, diet and exercise.
I’m looking forward to losing another 15 pounds with Dr. Franco before the year is out! 2 of my friends are doing the diet with me, one has lost 25 pounds in less time as me! Another friend sees him for botox, spider veins and excema and swears by him… she’s the one that introduced me to this amazing doctor. :)
