We specialize in providing a resort like living experience for our residents.

We have 10 acres of lush tropical grounds with over 150 palm trees, water falls, 4 swimming pools, aviary, health club and theater. We provide annual shows, daily coffee hours and many classes and lectures i.e. Yoga, Tennis etc. Our motto is «Why come back to an apartment when you can come home to a sanctuary.» Our homes consist of singles, 1,2 & 3 bedrooms, townhouses and separate houses. These are among the largest in square footage in the valley.

History

Established in 1955.

The Horace Heidt Estates are a historic property in of Sherman Oaks. Once a horse ranch, the property was bought by bandleader Horace Heidt in 1939 to house his 30 piece band to make the movie, «Pot o’ Gold» with Jimmy Stewart and Paulette Goddard. In 1955 when Mr. Heidt retired, he starting to build the first 45 units around his home. He and the family have been adding improvements to the property ever since. Now there are 205 Apartment Homes and 16 Homes on the 10 acre property. The latest addition in 2006 is the Horace Heidt Haleakala Apartment Homes.
