The BEST barber shop in town!
I have fine and thin hair — but Beverly always does an amazing job. She somehow makes it look bush, styled and tapered.
And after the cut friends and colleagues always say I look younger!
All the staff are great — but Bev is special. She is a hair wizard. Highly recommended but best to make an appointment.

From one business owner to another best advice I can give is to just be courteous to every potential customer. I come to town often and my fiancé now lives near this place. I went on Unilocal to find a barber that could do a simple edge up and Quincy was seemingly recommended. Walked in and it was obvious neither of the barbers that could give me an edge were interested in doing so. I asked him if he had anyone after the guy he was finishing and he said no then asked who referred me as if I needed some top clearance to be there, I responded; Unilocal.Then the guy Quincy immediately went to asking the other guy if he could do it when he got back, then I asked him did he have time and in a very matter of fact way he said no. I understand I was a walk in and he may never see me again but 25 – 20 mins for an edge up to make 15 – 20 bucks you could at least say hey man I’m about to bounce or I can’t cut you because of whatever reason, but to be dismissive to a customer when the door says walk ins welcome warrants this review. Best of luck– treat those who’s path you cross with grace.

I recently walked — in to this shop because Unilocal said Quincy is a beast. I walked in expecting a dope Barbershop environment, instead I got looks and jeers of disapproval. I sat down and it took 15 mins to be asked who I was there to see. I told them Quincy and was told he’ll be back in a few but, doesn’t really take walk ins. I asked if another barber could get me right on my beard and Noone responded. I left and won’t return but not because the cuts I saw were decent but, because the treatment was unwarranted

Steve Taylor gives a fantastic haircut… and is a cool guy

I’ve been going to Barberia for 3 years and only see Steve (The British guy) he takes great pride in his work and doesn’t bore you with his conversation. I have difficult hair to work with and he always makes the perfect style which lasts. Be sure to ask for Steve.

Came here Friday night, ⁷⁄₃₁ for a quick fix on my sideburns. Quincy helped me out and did a great job. This place is great and I now get my haircut there.

Barberia deserves an automatic 5 stars just for their customer service. The whole staff is very friendly and welcoming. Parking is never a problem as they have their own lot. They have snacks and drinks for their customers and TVs so you can watch the latest news or sports games going on. Did I mention free wifi? As for Quincy, this man and his skills with the clippers/​scissors couldn’t be described with just 5 stars! Let alone the fact that he will give you the best hair cut you’d ever get, his customer service is amazing! With Quincy it’s not just a haircut, it’s more of an experience. Quincy has been our family barber for years now and I have yet seen or heard anyone of his customers complain or walk away disappointed with their haircut. Be sure to book an appointment with him as he only takes appointments. He’s also great kids.

I stopped in here about 3-​years ago because is was close… and got Beverly to cut my hair. She owns the place. All I can say is that this place is the bomb. Great haircuts… hang out with great regulars… Steve and Quincy are super nice but the best part of all is the time Bev takes to make sure I get a perfect haircut. I spend a good hour in the chair, and it is followed with a backrub. I think the rate is normally $ 30, but I pay $ 50 because of the time she spends. It also has a great ethnic mix and vibe.

I have been coming here since I met Quincy. He is the best barber a guy can ask for. He is hands down the most talented barber I have met and is also the beard doctor. If you want a clean cut or have a beard, you need to come meet Q. You will not be disappointed I assure you this!

The only Barber in Lancaster you can go to that will do a great job I recommend all of them. You will never walk away with a bad haircut. They all work with the best standards. Rick and Patrick are brothers that own the place.
I will advise either get there when they open or be patient.

It looks like an old-​fashioned, neighborhood barber shop — and, in all the best ways, it is. Steve Taylor is my stylist and he’s truly an artist. A hair sculptor. I’ve never known anyone to take such care, such pride in the work as this guy. The fact that he’s English and funny as well, well, that’s just the cherry on the sundae. I always feel like a million dollars as I’m leaving Barberia. Can’t recommend Steve and the place highly enough. Five stars? Can I make it six?

friends countrymen lend me your hair. I have got a big tip for you. 2 years ago i walked into this local barber shop and met this Brit named Steve and since my hair has been praised by kings and queens. In all my years of getting cuts i have never had a cut so great that i would scream from the rooftops if i could how great this man is. I also get some color but nobody would know because it looks so natural. It is his hair now and i only live in it. I have recommended Steve Taylor to other people who thank me time and time again. I consider him not only my Barber but my friend. Thank god i took that walk two years ago and stumbled into this barber shop and Steve.

It’s been about two years since I posted a review about my barber Quincy A.K.A. «Q». I only have positive things to say about Q. The guy is absolutely talented. I’ve had almost 100 haircuts since my last post and it just keeps getting better and better. I hear people talking about how much it costs and all this nonsense about going elsewhere to save a few bucks. If you are about saving money, your looks will show for it! The one thing you shouldn’t try to save money on is your appearance. You only look as good as you spend on yourself. Time and money!
I can write for hours about how great my man Q is at making you look fresh to death, but I’d rather you go experience it for yourselves.

I am new to the neighborhood and found this little place on Moorpark. Brian was my barber and I asked for a trim. I’m 54 years old so I didn’t want anything fancy. About 10 minutes later, he was done. When I asked him how much, he told me it was $ 35. Thirty Five Dollars!!! I almost fainted! I never paid more than $ 20 for a haircut. This was the biggest ripe off ever! Its a week later and I’m still pissed. Don’t go here unless you feel like throwing your money away. My haircut was worth about $ 12.With tip!

I went here as it is 2 blocks from where I live. Looked like a decent place. The cut was okay, not the best. The people are nice, however it is no Old School Barber shop, which I like… For me at least, just not enough detail, and the vibe here was ‘eh’… Furthermore, $ 25.00 for a plain men’s cut without trimming beard is pretty pricey. Just my opinion…

I get my fresh look by Quincy who does a wonderful job every time. This is not a supercuts or a fantastic sams. This is a REAL barber, who doesn’t just cut your hair in 10 – 15 min. The guy takes his time and makes sure that not only his customers are satisfied but he makes sure you leave when he is satisfied with the cut he gives you. I met Quincy through my brother-​in-​law who’s I thank all the time. My hair was all over the place. Quincy has made the unthinkable happen with my hair. I am lucky he is near where I live because I’ll be going to him no matter how far he goes. Extremely hard to find not a barber but an Artist like Quincy. Please keep in mind you get what you pay for. Yes, there are barbers who charge $ 10-​$ 15 but there are also people who walk around with funky looking hair. Trust me, go see Quincy, it will be a totally different experience.

If you care about quality, precision, and perfection, then Quincy is your barber.

I moved here from the east coast and could not find a barber that could do fades/​tappers/​blowouts very well until I found Quincy. It is great to have a native New Yorker cut my hair in LA

Hate to say anything against an independent barber trying to make a go of it… but I’ve had the same man’s haircut numerous places in the area for 10, 12, 14 bucks. Here, it was 25. Maybe because they’re on Moorpark, instead of Burbank or Victory. You can find cheaper– head north, young man…
