History

Established in 1978.

Established in 1978 by a former IBMer, ABMS has serviced products such as Dell, IBM, Apple, Toshiba, Hewlett-​Packard, Lenovo, Sony, ZT, AST, Compaq, Gateway, Micron, Packard Bell, eMachines, Colombia, Tandy, Commodore, Kaypro, Osborne, Data General, and more.

Meet the Business Owner

Jim A.

Business Owner

After serving in the USAF for 5 years, Jim was hired by IBM Corp. Office Products Division in 1969. He quickly rose to the position of senior customer engineer and has received numerous awards for customer relations, including the IBM Means Service award – IBM’s highest.

In 1978, Jim started his own company and continued servicing Office products. With the advent of Apple’s original PCs and the earliest IBM PCs, Jim began selling and servicing all PC related equipment and networks.

Jim’s philosophy over the years has been focused on customer support and service, quality in workmanship, and attention to detail.
