Silverleaf Computer Services was formed with the belief that an IT firm should not only focus on providing expert technical support, but also on providing professional and courteous service for the people that rely on technology.

Business Owner

Kevin started Silverleaf to pursue his passion of helping people with technology. He is a Los Angeles native who has worked in tech support and customer service since 2000. Kevin earned his BA in Economics from California State University, Northridge. Kevin currently holds several industry-​recognized technical certifications including the CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, and CompTIA Security+ certifications.

Kevin is honest, smart, patient and thorough. I can’t think of a better or more skilled person to diligently handle our computer, network and audio visual systems. We had techs out here from our ISP, the Geek Squad, AT&T — plus countless fruitless calls to AppleCare. Kevin surpassed them all. Plus he’s local! Anyway, my family and I are indebted to him and will always call him whenever we need any troubleshooting with our home systems.

For years I had a more than decade old PC sitting in a closet collecting dust. It wouldn’t start up but I kept it hoping that some day I could retrieve the data from it. I decided to bring it to Kevin to see what could be done. I dropped the computer off in the morning, that same afternoon Kevin had recovered the data I needed. Fast service and a great experience, I highly recommend.

I am quite happy with the level of the service that Kevin has provided for my laptop. It kept asking for auto-​fix, which failed to fix itself — even I could not access the desktop of my laptop.
Kevin diagnosed, and it turned out that the hard-​drive needed to be replaced. His charge seemed reasonable. Ever since, my laptop has been working great.

Kevin is a sweet guy! My husband referred me to him when my Macbook’s internal battery started acting up. Let me preface this by saying, before I went into business for myself a couple years ago, I worked at a large entertainment company and was accustom to having some of the best IT professionals a phone extension away to help me with any technical issues.
So when my Mac recently started acting up I really missed having someone who would give personal attention without making me feel like an idiot. As much as the Apple store is always friendly, I ended up standing in line even when I had an appointment. I ended up leaving. Plus I know very little about computer repair so I’m the number one candidate for getting ripped off.
I hit Unilocal to find a smaller business service, hoping for that personal touch and commitment. Based on reviews I found Kevin from Silverleaf.
I couldn’t be more than pleased. Everything was so simple. I handed over my life, aka laptop, to him and he quickly did the necessary repairs at a BEYOND REASONABLE price. You can tell he’s doing what he’s meant to do and is in business but not in the business of ripping anyone off.
He is definitely my new go to computer guy. Highly recommend. He’s near my place so it’s convenient. But he’s worth a drive if he’s not in your immediate area.

I am so, SO glad Unilocal helped me find this fantastic computer repair service! My computer has been crashing on me for months now and I thought I was going to have to buy another computer (gulp — anybody have an extra $ 500 to lend me?), but Kevin was able to diagnose the problem within a couple of hours and charged me a small fee to fix it. I contacted Kevin after an unpleasant business with Best Buy’s Geek Squat (yes squat with «t» because they don’t know squat). They charged me $ 70 just to check it out, they found «nothing» and suggested I spend another 500 dollars on repair that «might» work. That’s when I decided to look elsewhere.
Kevin on the other hand checked my computer for free and determined exactly what the problem is, what part needed the replacement, and gave me very reasonable estimate. Now my computer runs faster than when I bought it.
The man is friendly, patient, and prompt in communications and repairs. So if you need fast and honest service — call Kevin.

I rarely write a review (well, scratch that — never, actually) but I decided to write my first for Silverleaf for the terrific job Kevin provided.
My laptop went in an unexpected crisis while I was working on my dissertation about two weeks ago. I was able to see the Lenovo logo, then the log in page, but after I typed in the pin the laptop only presented me with an endlessly blank screen.
Folks, if you have ever written a dissertation, and, like me, have done a lousy job in backing up your data, you know the heart attack I underwent.
I decided to go to Silverleaf because 1) it is really, really close (like 2 miles away), and 2) it has stellar reviews.
Best. decision. ever.
Long story short — Kevin kindly offered a free diagnosis and contacted me with the results and estimates within hours, same day. Fast, considerate, reasonable, and professional. He even worked on a holiday after I told him that I desperately needed the laptop ready for work.
Result? A healthy laptop back to life.

Great life decision.
Kevin (they guy who owns the joint) repaired my desktop AND my laptop at reasonable prices. He was professional, efficient and completely competent about the entire process.
Another plus: Silverleaf communicated so well with me. Any changes in the service and I heard from Kevin. He was genuine about his recommendations and gave no bullshit. He doesn’t upsell products or services like other places do to nickel and dime the customer.
Silverleaf rebuilt my PC computer just how I wanted and upgraded my macbook like it was almost new. They even consulted with me on repair details based on my line of work (audio and video editing).
I’d use Silverleaf again, and I’d definitely give them a call if you aren’t the computer nerd type. They know how to take care of your broken computer.
