Gus Lopez of A-​One Construction was the 2012 president of the So-​Cal Remodelers Association and acting board member of the Building Industry Association in Los Angeles California. Established in 1986, A-​One Construction & Design started its business in the commercial construction industry specializing in building full service kitchens and quickly became involved with REO properties working with banks, real estate companies and private investors needing a quick turnaround for investment properties. As the company grew, Lopez began to work with the residential community and became a specialist in green building/​remodeling and Earthquake retrofitting. It turns out that I didn’t need the huge budget I was quoted. Gus was able to create my idea of the perfect room on a budget that I could afford. He and his staff were on time and polite. He was easy to work with and professional.
I would recommend Gus if you are looking for an honest person especially being a woman. Those other quotes thought they could overcharge.

When I first Met with Gus from A One Construction and known him and worked him on many projects for over 25 years and have recommend him to many friends and co-​workers for his Construction skills and projects that were up for a challenge. Gus has superseded his expectation with excellent service and hands on every task and job that was given to him. Have been told numerous of times how each customer was satisfied by his work and customer service and they would love to use him again and again and refer his business to their friends. Gus has many skills to offer and to get the job done, has a excellent crew with many resources to make sure the client is taken care of. I had a whole new AC Unit and back yard landscaping done by A One construction and was satisfied by the work that was done. A One constructions I would highly recommend them to all my family and friends. Thank you Gus for everything you have done, very pleased with the friendship and your dedication of customer service you have done for my family and friends.

When I first hired Gus at A One construction to rebuild a room in my house, I knew I would use them forever. i got an accurate quote, the work was done on time and on budget and all the workers were so happy and clean, it was a pleasure to have them in my home.
Since then I have remodeled my kitchen which involved taking down a wall and Gus Lopez at A One oversaw each part of it. Again, it happened on schedule, on budget and it came out better than I imagined it could.
I am a more than satisfied customer because over the years, they have shown up exactly the same way. Why would anyone use anyone else?

Wow!!! What a transformation. I had my house totally redone from a fixer to a shining palace. Thanks to A-​One Construction to make that happen. It was like having the property brothers do my home without the TV show. I worked with A-​One Construction and Design and Gus Lopez’s design ideas are amazing. They one of the best companies I have worked with over the years. They did a superb job renovating my home. They added new cabinets, sink, tiles etc… The painting, color scheme, patterns, and appliances all matched and the superfine detail was impeccable. They are certified green builders and have won multiple awards. I highly recommend them!
