This wonderful small family run farm offers grass-​fed lamb and pastured pork (and turkey on a seasonal basis). The respect and care they have for their animals was immediately felt by me. They rotate the grazing areas of their animals and practice sustainable agriculture techniques and humane animal treatment. Their pork is delicious.
They’re always looking for good volunteers who can help with feeding and caring for the animals, mowing/​weeding/​fencing, gardening, fruit harvesting, tree/​shrub care, chopping sorting and collecting wood, cleaning/​organizing, wool processing, wildcrafting and more. There’s always something to do on the farm.
They have gift certificates — I LOVE THIS!
