Two Small Men With Big Hearts Moving

Last summer I tried my luck with this moving company and I still think about of horrific my experience was. Bottom line I wish you could give a zero star review. Absolutely the most outrageously unprofessional people I have ever experienced. Not only were they 3 hours late (I was told they were getting coffee) but they were also grossly negligent. I had complaints filed from where I was moving from and to simply due to their violent yelling and profanity. They damaged beyond repair multiple pieces of furniture and both my old apartment building walls and new apartment. They couldn’t figure out to even move a standard size couch through a standard doorway and threatened to just leave the couch in the hall. They told me it was impossible until I specifically instructed them how to get in the house (which was simple they just couldn’t figure it out on their own). I also ended up with 3 guys yet somehow moved more things with my roommate than any of them actually did. One guy even locked himself in my bathroom for 15 minutes only to have his coworker come and bang on door screaming profanities until he came out. I was absolutely horrified with what happened on my moving day and what’s worse is I actually paid them hundreds of dollars to «move» everything. My advice is if you are moving book a PROFESSIONAL company not this one, because working with this company will only give you broken furniture and a migraine.

After almost two months waiting… I am at a loss, and have never given a poor review to a local business. I just can’t let this happen to other folks, so I feel I need to share: Upon moving to my new apartment, the truck collided with the corner of my building. I have been in contact with Two Small Men who have told me they would be out to repair the damages, and have even scheduled time off to wait for them. No one has remediated the damages, and now my property manager is asking me to resolve it. I have sent several certified letters to both Dave and Glen, but they have been returned in the mail ‘unclaimed’ when sent to the 10 522 Lake City NE address. I am now appointing an attorney since I have now exhuasted several hours attempting to contact them as well as taking time off to wait for the contractors to arrive. When things are smooth, they are great with these folks. However, when things go wrong, I cannot say there is accountability… it’s just bad business, and it hurts even me to admit that.

No. Just NO!!! The guys are nice. That’s it! The actual price was 2x the quote, they were 7… SEVEN hours late, broke several thinks (dropped and scuffed leather couch, now had a broken recliner end) and there was mud everywhere. I would have rather had randoms from Craigslist show up at my door and got a uhaul. Not reputable or professional.

We originally called Two Small Men to move us into our new home in April but found ourselves having to move out of our rental sooner than anticipated. We called Friday afternoon hoping that they would be able to move us the very next day. Spoke with Dave and after some conversation with my wife, they were able to fit us in for a 12pm move on Saturday. Dave and DaMon (sp?) were there a few minutes late but that was not even an issue because immediately they started to go to work. They packed up 1,000+ sq. ft. Worth of stuff into their truck in about 2 hours. They then were able to unload the truck into a 10×15 storage unit in an hour. They were great guys to deal with and were careful with our stuff. We are going to use them again when we move into our new house in April. Courteous, fast and value priced service! So glad we used them! Thanks!!!

We literally just moved into our house tonight. These guys were great they busted their balls to get some awkwardly big furniture upstairs. They fit us in on short notice after my husband busted his knee and I am so happy to recommend them to anyone for your moving needs!

Moving is always a tough experience. Two Small Men were on time. They were polite and good to work with side by side. I had some delicate and valuable items that arrived to the new location safely. Nothing, as far as I can tell, was broken or damaged. They were efficient, only taking 2 short breaks for a smoke and a burger. They saved me so much time and effort and did 2 large loads in 5.5 hours, when I had only scheduled 4 (i.e. They went beyond my allotted time without any issue). My only comment might be that the load out felt a bit rushed, but I know they had to get to another job and overall it was an excellent service. I would use them again.

Two small men turned what was one of my worst moves into an effortless experience. I called them at 7:30pm on Monday after Jay the Mover showed at my house drunk and trying to over charge me from his original quote. Two small men moved heaven and earth to get a team to my house on Tuesday to move my belongings. They showed up ready and happy to help me. When I move again I will not hesitate to hire them again. Thank you David and Dave the two guys that moved me. ;)

This is the customer service you are looking for when it comes to a moving company. I moved back in July 2012 and I hadnt gotten around to writing a review. But now that I am getting ready to move again, I realized I hadnt spread the word. We had moved from Queen Anne to Federal Way. And this was an amazing experience. They were on time just as they said. And to boot, they saw that we did not have a box spring for our mattress and so happened to have one on hand and gave it to us no charge. They wrapped all the furniture and brought it in without any damages, even asking us where we wanted them to place everything. They helped us set up the furniture and did not just place everything in the middle of the floor. They matched items up with the room. It really made it alot easier on us that we could just jump in and start unpacking and setting things up, rather than having to search all over the place or drag furniture around on our own. I really appreciated the men that worked on our behalf that day; they were courteous and straight to the point. They got in and out. And it was all worthwhile.

We had an excellent experience. Almost every day we drive by the Two Small Men vans on Dearborn so when it came time to find a moving company we decided to keep it local. Our online inquiry was replied to promptly and the cost was in line with other companies. We did not experience any additional charges or hidden fees. We accidentally mixed up our days and dates yet TSMWBH were very accommodating and fit us in the schedule without a hitch. The drivers were 10 min late but called ahead to inform us and they were very professional and courteous. They also accommodated our request for a second stop en route to pick up a fridge that was large And difficult to move. Nothing was broken or bashed or dinged. I’d highly recommend them!

I have never received such terrible service. Two small men managed to break all the rules a professional company should have. We were scheduled to move at noon and at noon they did not show up. They called and asked to re-​schedule for 3:30pm because they were too busy and have the worst planning imaginable and even at 3:30pm they did not show up! They scheduled for next day at 9am and even after so many chances they still did NOT show up. The 1 – 800 people were rude, hung up on us, and we were told all sort of excuses which only means one thing they are liars! DO NOT HIRE TWO SMALL MEN!!! You will regret it! They don’t even deserve one star!
