Got a ride from Seattle down to Crystal with Seattle Ski Shuttle. The good: — Really darn convenient. They pick up in a central location(West Seattle, Downtown, or Auburn) around 7 – 8, drive down there, and then leave from the mountain around 4. — Cost. It was $ 40 round trip, which is about as much as I would have spent on gas to drive myself there and back. — They’re pretty flexible. You just have to book online within 12 hours of pickup. The less-than-good: — The driver was kind of grouchy and blasted his music the whole way(loud enough that I was glad I’d brought earplugs). — The cost was 40 + tax, I handed him 50 and he didn’t give me the change. While I was planning to leave the rest as tip, I’d rather that not be assumed. Just a pet peeve. I plan on taking the shuttle again in the future. Overall, the trip to Crystal was a good deal.

The Seattle Ski Shuttle is AWESOME! With ski season in full swing, I was anxious to get on the slopes… However, driving there is something I was not too excited about. The shuttle to the rescue!: I took the shuttle a couple times to Snoqualmine and once to Crystal, and it was so nice not having to drive… I am from the South so driving amonst ice and snow up to the mountain is not extremely feasible for me. I’d rather be safe than sorry, and it turned out to be a sweet deal… It is $ 40 to Crystal and $ 35 to Snowqualmine, and you stay the whole day there. The driver was super nice and cool, and the ride was smooth. No worries going to the slopes that way! I booked it online at and the pickup was super easy. I am looking forward to my next excursion with them. Oh yeah, last but not least, the owners of this are also the founders of Alki Kayak Tours and Mountain to Sound Outfitters… Keeping West Seattle active! Thank you so much!
