History
Established in 2013.
Sam’s Tavern started in the1940’s, the original birthplace of Red Robin standing at the corner of Furhman and Eastlake in Seattle, at the south end of the University Bridge, before they served gourmet burgers, offered bottomless fries, and adding the name «Red Robin». It was just «Sam’s Tavern» and then «Sam’s Red Robin» and after dropping the name «Sam» the rest is history. Or is it?
Fast forward 70 years later to 2013 the originator «Sam’s Tavern» is reborn. This time it’s in the heart of Capitol Hill off 11th and Pike with a vibrant setting, convivial ambience and hip American tavern concept. Sam’s Tavern is an energetic place to visit on a Friday and Saturday night, but also your «go-to» take-out on any night of the week.
