Officials Vintage

Cool little spot to find vintage apparel, especially for the sports fan. If you have not been in this place you should take a trip at least to browse. Small store but I believe that adds to the uniqueness of the establishment.

Staff:
Very friendly staff. They had no problem helping me find a size and style that I wanted. Most of the jackets I wanted to try on were not within reach and needed their help, which they were more than happy to oblige. I tried on at least 4 – 5 different 49ers jackets and took my sweet, sweet time browsing around their store of vintage apparel. Overall, very helpful and friendly staff.
Stock:
I’m a 49ers fan and it was a dream come true walking into this store. I was very surprised to see such a good selection for a team that is 800+ miles away. Their selection varies depending on what team or sport you’re looking at though. My advice is to either call ahead or check out their website to see what they might have in stock. They have a good selection of shirts, sweaters, jackets, and hats. They carry both new (or at least what looked like new) and used apparel. If you’re into other types of collectibles, they even sell some pins, cards, and toys too. For those with kids, they have clothing for them, too.
Pricing:
Prices for most items seem to be very fair. For the specific jacket that I was looking at, they were priced at or below eBay prices (depending on condition).
One note/​tip for future reviewers and visitors of this shop and any other used/​vintage clothing-​type shops: don’t comment on the price of a particular item unless you know the street value of that particular item. It’s easy to say that a particular item is overpriced when you don’t know the actual value or the history of a particular item.
Smell:
A lot of vintage or used clothing stores carry an odd stench. This place didn’t.
Other:
They play good music.
From my experience, these types of stores are usually hit or miss (in terms of staff and selection). This store was definitely a hit in both areas. I had no problem spending $ 100 on a new/​like-​new gold Swingster 49ers jacket and look forward to doing business with them again. However, since I am not a resident of Fremont (or Washington even), this will probably have to happen through the interwebs.
