NW Majestic Moving & Packing

Good, fast moving services. Had a couple dings, and wrote about it in comment letter. Was surprised to receive call back from the owner, who apologized and sent a check to help cover the damages. These things happen, and the right thing was done, which is admirable.

Great experience. We had a delay with moving into our house and we were able to reschedule our move with no problem. Doreen was awesome on the phone. Very friendly and understanding with our situation. The movers were great. Called in advance before they arrived. Took great care for our things. Very friendly and professionally. Very affordable!!! The overview… This is a woman-​owned and managed business– and she Michelle definitely knows her business after years of experience! Overall… Time and cost estimate range was accurate: fees were explained clearly (including travel time), accounting of time was accurate, they are FAST and skilled, and nothing was damaged or broken, and everyone was an absolute JOY to work with.
Michelle was a wonderful communicator– she requested info on our goods for an estimate. We discussed acess to the to and from locations, including navigating ramps and trees. I even sent her emailed photos of our location and goods in the storage unit to give her a better sense– she was on top of it and so delightful! When we changed our order from 3 to 2 men, due to change in needs — no problem. She even called me to bump me up to a fresh morning appointment when the previous had cancelled, to ensure that as a confirmed customer, I’d be well taken care of.
Troy and Carlos arrived the morning of early, and got right to work with their «go-​to-​it» smiles and fast steps. The various dollies, furniture wrap, and padded blankets were all used very strategically and efficiently… so Carlos was wrapping and moving (we were welcomed to team up with Carlos in helping carry, if we wanted)… and Troy was busy actively fitting the truck to ensure our goods were packed safely and utilizing the space. These guys don’t mess around… they’d jog between loads… cracking jokes and keeping us smiling the whole way through. And they are SKILLED… these are NW Movers men, not contractors working for NW movers!
WHen they arrived at our home, they navigated the parking situation superbly and got right back to work. There were no bumps on the walls and everything was in perfect condition. They managed to hoist a heavy desk up the stairs, around a delicate banister, and place everthing where needed. They were constantly checking in to make sure they were delivering to the right places, if it wasn’t obvious.
At the payment, when the job was done, Troy accurately calculated our time (we both were watching the clock) and it was straight foward. We gave them a healthy tip, as we were so thankful for their professionalism, humor, skill, and swiftness. I didn’t realize moving could be this delightful. NW Movers at your service!

We scheduled really last minute and Michele was able to squeeze us in. The estimate they gave us turned out to be right on the nose. When the moving crew showed up, they were great; really nice guys and very efficient. This made a stressful move a lot easier!

We have moved three times in the past two years and have really felt the pain. On previous occasions we used two different companies and weren’t satisfied enough with either to think of them again for our most recent move. From now on, we’ll be using NW Majestic… feels good to finally have a go-​to company.
I was a little nervous when they showed up in a Budget rental truck instead of a branded truck with their company name on it… but as soon as I met the movers (three very nice men who all introduced themselves to me right away) I felt a lot more confident.
They were super, super fast. This might be unsettling for some, but for us it was obvious that they were fast because they knew what they were doing. I will say though that I wished they would have wrapped our furniture in the apartment before taking it out to the elevator, then to the street and to the truck. Ive actually not ever seen movers not wrap things before taking them… while it did save time (and thus money) it was scary to see some of our expensive items out on the street with no protection.
More than anything else, above all, I will say that the best thing about NW Majestic was the movers themselves. I was a woman alone trying to orchestrate a move without her husband around to help and they treated me with respect, kindness and were very attentive to my requests. They even re-​organized our storage unit after taking a few items out — certainly above and beyond!

We just moved from Northeast Tacoma to West Seattle. Not a very far move but it was a frustrating one as I think most news are. My wife did an excellent job of getting everything boxed and bubble wrapped and packed and ready for the movers. When they arrived on time the day of the move, on time by the way, there were five movers to load up our stuff. They were very organized and very professional and watching load the first truck with mostly symmetrical items boxes and whatnot was like watching a work of art. Everything fit perfectly. Of course the second truck required a lot more finesse with all the odd sized items but again they did a very excellent job.
We had carpet being installed in our new condo the next day so the items remained on the truck for an extra day they only charged $ 100 per truck for the extra day which I thought was very reasonable.
When they arrived, on time again, for the offload again there were five guys and they did an amazing job. We had one short set of exterior stairs that they had to deal with but they worked hard and got the job done in what I would say was record time.
We haven’t completely finished unpacking all the boxes but so far we have found nothing broken and with just a couple of exceptions everything was placed in the right spot.
The initial estimate was for about $ 3400 I believe and we actually came in under that at $ 2800. I wasn’t sure if you tip movers but these guys did such a great job that I tipped each one of them an extra $ 25. I would highly recommend majestic movers anybody looking to make a move in the Seattle area.
As I said moves are very frustrating especially when your downsizing like we were but these guys took the majority of frustration out of the process. Graet job

My family has used Majestic Movers 4 times now, including just recently. I was very disappointed in the service we received from the owner. When I called for pricing I was told a specific amount later to find out that there was additional charges for gas, credit card processing and that they charge an addition half hour before and after for the time it takes to show up and drive home. This equaled out to be an additional $ 144.
I own a business where we have to travel to homes and businesses to do work at an hourly rate and it is VERY important to be clear on pricing.
I’m very disappointed with the customer service we received, especially being such a loyal customer for many years. My family will not be using them again. I certainly hope the owner betters her ways for the sake of her company.

I had great service when booking and talking to the owners. On the moving day, the movers were supposed to show up at 2pm and didn’t get to our place until 5pm. They had moved all day and you could tell they were exhausted. They worked hard but I feel that they were over booked that day and took longer with my move because of it. I was quoted 4 hours MAX including transportation, but it took 6 hours and we helped a TON with the moving ourselves. We ended up having them set most of the items in the garage so that we could finish before 1am.
