This is one of the best sandwiches trucks in the city of Seattle. I personally tried the El Duderino and it was all but perfect. The sandwich was priced lower than expected and the ingredients seemed as fresh as they could be for a food truck. Remember to grab extra napkins as you fend off the deliciousness in droves. Will be returning soon…

I LOVE a good sandwich and these sammiches were awesome!!! Enjoyed this truck while at Chuck’s and glad I did. I had the Duderino and my buddy had the Beast — both were RIDICULOUS . The taters were not your typical ‘fry’ but more like a breakfast fried tater — still good. Hope I cross paths with this truck again — the girl taking our order was great too

This is simply my go to food truck here in downtown. Tuesday’s the are always across the street from my office. The El Duderino is a culinary masterpiece and if you pair it with their home fries you will most certainly feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I’ve tried more than half the menu and haven’t been disappointed once. When your tummy is’a rumblin’ there is only one truck to find.

I eat at the Viking truck religiously at least once a week… thanksgetting and bad lieutenant are my two standby choices. The sandwiches are stuffed and unlike lots of food trucks I feel like I get my money’s worth and won’t be hungry in an hour. The generous amount of sauces can get the thinner bottom of the bun a little soggy, so I recommend flipping the box so the thicker top bun is on the bottom, which helps keep the texture of the roll. The home fries are solid, but I always request them extra crispy. Ryan, the owner is a great guy and almost always working the truck. Grab a sandwich and talk some hockey with him while waiting. He may be a Red Wings fan but I won’t hold that against him.

I remember the first day I saw this truck. I thought to myself, this is the most badass looking food truck in Seattle. Their logo is awesome. Anyway, I’ve only gotten two sandwiches here. The first one was the Valhalla Pork, which I thought was pretty heavy but really tasty. I couldn’t finish it. The second sandwich I get was the Thanksgetting. I think this sandwich is great! It’s basically Thanksgiving dinner(turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce) on a ciabatta roll. I haven’t gotten any other sandwich since, I’ve been here quite a few times now! Anyway, I really like the staff here and they make the sandwiches really fast. I highly recommend this food truck!

Drool! NMMAS is pretty much my fave truck in the Amazon campus. I used to not like pastrami until I had their Reubenator(hot pastrami, swiss, sauerkraut on a Telera roll). Their pastrami is TODIEFOR. Perfectly fatty and smoky. Ugh. Their Thanksgetting sandwich(turkey, smoky bacon, cranberry sauce, stuffing, gravy on a grilled roll) is almost inspired. I seriously can’t believe that so much goodness comes out of a tiny food truck! If you are in the SLU area, check them out! You won’t be disappointed!

I found these guys in the South Lake Union area during lunch time on a Friday. I had only heard rumors of their legendary sandwiches and was happy to finally get the opportunity. After perusing their menu for a few moments, I decided on the«Thanksgetting» option which is basically Thanksgiving dinner on a ciabatta roll and a side of mac salad to go with it. Both items were really tasty and, while I am normally not a huge fan of ciabatta rolls, it was definitely necessary to hold together the sandwich and keep all of the ingredients from either spilling out or overwhelming whatever other bread option might have been used. I would definitely recommend giving these folks a try and I’m looking forward to trying more of their menu items real soon!

I had the sandwich on top of the menu(can’t remember name) and put bacon on it. Awesome sandwich served warm on a toasted ciabatta roll. The contrast of the coleslaw to the BBQ and meat was delicious. Food is 5* but it’s a bit spendy for how much food you get. Definitely recommend checking this spot out. On 5th and Union every Tuesday.

Summary: Delicious but pricey Food: I had the Valhalla Pork and I will say it was heavy(read: a lot of food/filling) and quite tasty. The BBQ sauce has a decent kick, but it’s perfect mixed in the sandwich. A buck or 2 cheaper and they’d have my business fairly regularly($ 9 for a sandwich with no sides is too much). Service: Nice enough and quick service. Value: Normal for a food truck in Seattle, which means expensive. Location: It’s a food truck so no tables or chairs, you have to know where it’s going to be, certainly not a driving destination. Really only a good option if you work within the block where it happens to be located. Comments: Food trucks in general will likely get lower reviews from me as their amenities are lower and in Seattle tend to be overpriced.

I ordered the ham’er of the gods… basically a ham and cheese with onions. It was super delicious. But really hard to eat without it going everywhere. The portion was generous. I also tried the homefries. They were uninteresting. I feel like they were lacking in salt and pepper. And some were kind of cold. Overall a super tasty spot. Sandwiches are my go-to comfort food, so I was super happy to find this truck the other day. Can’t wait to see them again.

Having begun my battle to reduce wheat consumption(the spirit is willing to quit wheat, the demonspawn grain, but the flesh is weak), I had just picked up a gelato cake at Gelatiamo’s downtown(review to follow after the party tonight), and started walking back to my office. Now Make Me a Sandwich was parked outside Chase Bank(poof! you’re a sandwich!). I was starving and not willing to find the buffet in my office and attempt to glean all my carbs from dwindling steamed starchy vegetables and baked salmon, despit the fact that not eating wheat leaves my tummy flat and unbloated and beach-ready. Normally I can make do with rice and potatoes, but one sandwich caught my eye. the Valhalla Pork sandwich. Pulled pork on a homemade Telera(another word for brioche, maybe? it’s similar, and good) roll with a chipotle BBQ sauce and apple-jalapeño coleslaw. I will now be googling their downtown location every wheat-cheat day. This pulled pork puts me right back into my Hawaiian honeymoon last year, and the jalapenos with the apple are a sweet-spicy combo that doesn’t quite get the lips tingly, but adds a lot of flavor. I’m eating at my desk now, and all my coworkers are litterally sniffing around my cubicle. The sandwich and a bag of kettle-cooked hawaiian bbq chips cost about $ 9. More than I usually like to spend, but it’s a big sandwich with at least 6 oz of pork on it. Completely worth treating yourself. You guys should cater, if you don’t. If you do, I’ll throw a party just to have you cater it. Bring on the bloated wheat belly! I earned it today!

This is one of those reviews I sort of hate to write because I want a business I love to do well, but I also don’t want to be precluded from going to it due to super long lines. That said, this food truck is quickly rising to the top of the list of my favorites in Seattle. The bad lieutenant sandwich is amazing(top 3 in Seattle) and every other sandwich I’ve had is really great. The sides are pretty good too. For a food truck, the prices are very reasonable. And the friendly service is much appreciated. 5 stars all around for this excellent food truck.

Oh man — make me ALL the sandwiches, please! The Now Make Me a Sandwich food truck makes frequent appearances about two blocks away from where I work, and many’s the day that I’m thankful it’s there. Ever since I took a chance with their Reubenator(how could I resist?), I’ve been back to try many of their different sandwiches, and I’ve not been disappointed once. I’ve had the Bad Lieutenant(a meat lover’s dream) and the Ham’er of the Gods(a really nice kick with the hot mustard), and I’m sure I’ll try the Duderino and the Beastie at some point, but I keep going back for two things: the Thanksgetting(like Thanksgiving dinner on a telera roll, from turkey to stuffing to cranberry sauce), and that first one I had, the Reubenator(like a Reuben, but not really — either way you look at it, it’s amazing). Throw in some of that fresh apple-jalapeño slaw or, if I’m looking for something heartier, a heaping helping of home fries, and I’m pretty much in lunchtime heaven. Perhaps the most telling, for me, was when I saw the vendors from another local lunch truck(who shall remain nameless, but they’re also known for their sandwich game) getting their lunch at Now Make Me a Sandwich — that pretty much seals the deal. Now Me Make a Sandwich can make me a sandwich anytime.

Being from Portland Oregon where food trucks grow on trees I have been in search for the perfect lunchtime companion. Thanks to Now make me a sandwich there isn’t a day I go without a sandwich whenever they are near. I have ordered 5 different things and each one has delighted my taste buds. Along with the overwhelming friendly staff that cranks out food comes and affordable sandwich with great portions and taste. Hmmmm I’m getting hungry just reviewing time to go over there all them Now make me sandwich!

Caught these guys when they were set up outside Chuck’s Hop Shop on 85th. I got the impression that they always do Monday dinners here, but I assume that sort of thing is always changing. Chuck’s is all about the food trucks, though, with a schedule posted inside to keep you up on who’s gonna be in the parking lot when. NMMAS has a few sandwiches, and they had a soup special on – sounded like it was an entrée unto itself, at least the one they had last night. They love the Viking/Nordic theme for their menu names as well as for their logo. I had a hot roast beef sandwich, called The Beastie. Plenty of meat, nice fresh chewy ciabatta, some vegetables with a nice tangy counterpoint to the rest of the sandwich, and some melty blue cheese in there. It was messy, and I was grateful for the little cardboard box the sandwich came in, to use as a plate. But not so messy it got on my hands. That’s about as perfect as you can get with melted cheese and all the other stuff trying to escape the bread at times. The staff are super friendly; the cashier even brings sandwiches inside to Chuck’s. That was a fantastic feature, because it was cold out. Prices were fair enough for the quality – $ 11 for a sandwich and a side of slaw. Not the cheapest in town, not the most expensive. I’d definitely hit up these guys again. They do take cards.

I work in a small office park south of Bellevue where walkable lunch options are limited at best. Having food trucks come by is a lifesaver — and a bit of an indulgence. Luckily, Now Make Me a Sandwich(is it just me, or does this need a «bitch» after it, a la Jesse Pinkman?!) graced us with their presence today. I am not even done eating my food and I’m already writing the review. Now THAT’S some good food. For my first visit, a coworker and I decided to buy two different sammiches and split them in half so we could try twice as much food. Brilliant, right?! Today’s selections were the Ham’er of the Gods(ham and spicy mustard, plus some fancy fixins) and the Super Chicken Deluxe(herb roasted chicken, rosemary aioli, gorgonzola and other yumminess like BACON). DELICIOUS! I liked the Ham’er better than the Chicken sammie because it was so flavorful with the sweetness of the grilled onions combatting the spiciness of the mustard and the creaminess of the cheddar cheese. It was killer. This is your basic ham and cheese on crack to the nth degree. I also tried the home fries, which are like a southern hashbrown-type concoction — also quite tasty. You get a LOT of potatoes for just $ 3. The Viking Stew smelled divine, but alas, I’d already placed my order. It’s next on the list when I visit again. I hope these guys come back to the office park. If you’re hungry — hell, even if you’re full — this place can’t be missed. Now Get Yourself a Sandwich!

These sandwiches will kick your ass! They’re THATGOOD! It took me a while to find their truck. I had to endure post after post from my friends showing their tasty purchases. Finally one day I just happened to stumble upon the truck on the east-side just off 148th. This truck is NICE! It’s clean and looks new. The crew is friendly and they accept credit-card payments! If you find them, I totally recommend«The Bad Lieutenant». Pro-tip, check their twitter feed for their day to day location. ;-D

These guys don’t mess around when it comes to sandwiches. I ordered the Reubenator and it’s by far the best Reuben sandwich I’ve ever had. I love sandwiches that are hot and gooey with cheese. The picture I took says it all. The guy at the order window was friendly too. The Viking man knows what the sandwich eater wants.

A group of us went to check out the truck at Chuck’s on a Monday night. The truck was staffed with three people from what I saw, and everyone was friendly and eager to help. We ordered three sandwiches: 1) Valhalla Pork for $ 8; 2) The Bad Lieutenant for $ 10; and 3) Grilled Cheese for $ 5. Honestly, the person that ordered the grilled cheese was admonished by the rest of us and had to be schooled on the three grilled cheese trucks in Seattle. Although I didn’t taste the grilled cheese, it looked burnt. When I saw the boxes for the sandwiches, I thought, «those look small.» I opened my box and was pleasantly surprised. The sandwich looked very hearty. I had The Bad Lieutenant which is a Valhalla pork sandwich plus bacon, ham, and provolone. My friend had the Valhalla pork sandwich which is pulled pork, chipotle bbq sauce, and jalapeño slaw. We shared both sandwiches. The Bad Lieutenant was the better sandwich with more complex flavors. The seasoning was on the safe side — flavorful, but safe. A bit of spice never hurt anyone. The bread had good flavor and texture(for a few minutes). Both sandwiches became soggy on the bottom after a short period of time. My hands were dripping with sauce and I literally had to use 6 napkins. The pulled pork reminded me of Hawaiian kalua pork, or rather, a watered down version of it. Honestly, if I had paid for my own sandwich, I wouldn’t have finished the soggy mess. Because my friend bought it, I felt obligated to eat the whole thing while he watched and I turned my head to cringe when biting the soggy bread. I will say that the sandwiches were filling. It’s always a good thing when you pay $ 8 — $ 10 for a meal. The social media presence is amusing and I find myself smiling when reading some of the posts. I think they do a great job of keeping fans informed of their route.
