This was a cute, if expensive boutique. Too bad it closed in March 2009.

I have now stopped in on a few occasions and always leave with vintage treasures… Gorgeous blouses in shockingly bright colors… with coordinating pencil skirts… i also bought a one piece pant suit that is all the rage this season This store carries Ashley Watson bags which makes me instantly in love with it… Ashley is out of Vancouver and hunts for vintage leather jackets that she then turns into one of a kind leather bags. These purses aren’t even as pricey as the middle of the road stuff in Nordstrom! I have a bag in the works that I can use as a briefcase when I start my law job! Can’t Wait. So all in all… this store really does have fun and different clothing options(Prairie Underground, Emily Katz, and Elroy Apparel), but I have taken a turn towards vintage so that is where my eyes wander… This is an absolute must stop on any ladies shopping circuit… and be sure to grab a cup of coffee at Tougo two doors down!

They had everything from vintage purses up to new fancy jewelry and over to shrinky dink necklaces. Who knew shrinky dinks could be made to look so classy?

Last Waltz sells new and used clothing, jewelry, and artsy home goods. Their selection is limited. Of the new items, there were maybe a baker’s dozen of shirts, hoodies, dresses and a few sizes of each. The feel was classy, edgy, and one-of-a kind. The used clothing selection was small, also– one Anna Sui cocktail dress, a Nordstrom vintage raincoat, a beaded party dress, a few skirts, sweaters.. . probably no more than a dozen items. The jewelry was also spare but there are some gems including recycled spoon rings. They look better than they sound. I’ll check this place out again and hope for more of a selection. Right before I went in, someone brought in a couple of plastic tubs full of clothing. That should add to their stock soon. Last Waltz is two doors down from Tougo Coffee company and there is sufficient street parking for the moment. Easy access means I’ll be back.
