Established in 2012.

Juxtapose Design Build (JDB) was formed by two landscape designers based in Seattle Washington. Together we bring over 12 years of landscape design and construction. Our designers are highly trained and award winners from the Landscape Architectural Program at the University of Washington.

JDB designs from a contemporary, personal and sustainable approach. Our focus is to create beautiful and functional spaces based on the programmatic requirements and opportunities of the space. Juxtapose is committed to creating tailored solutions to specific challenges, while generating opportunities for innovative design.

Business Owner

Carlos Camara is the design principal and contractor at Juxtapose Design Build LLC. Carlos guides projects from the initial vision to a detailed design and carries it through the construction phase. He earned his professional degree in Landscape Architecture, with honors, from the University of Washington and is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA).

I was recently put into contact with Carlos, the owner of Juxtapose Design Build, and he came highly recommended from someone who went through landscape architect program with him @ UW. From the first call I placed to Carlos he was professional and responsive to all of my concerns and needs about putting a patio into our small and urban front yard. The total project from first phone call to completion only took 1 week and he was helpful at every step of the process. We once had a phone call @ 11pm at night because I was worried about a portion of our yard design and we wanted to change it up a little bit. Carlos busted this job out! Great materials, super competitive pricing, and a great feeling that at the end of the project that it had just as much to do with pleasing us as it was important that he built something amazing. I am completely impressed by him and his business. If you need a project done whether it be for your house or business he can definitely handle the project and you will be glad you called.
