John Streidl MD

Dr. Streidl is a great doctor and has a kind and caring bedside manner. I had a surgical procedure with him and it was done very skillfully and healed remarkably well. I felt at ease during the procedure, both with his attention to detail with the surgery and with his kind manner. The office staff has always been very friendly, and Dr. Streidl tends to run on time, which is helpful as well.

Dr. Streidl is a very good doctor. Appointments are available on a timely basis and commence on time. He has a down-​to-​earth manner that immediately put me at ease. He takes the time to explain what he sees and his recommendations. I have never felt rushed through an appointment. I have had several appointments and a few minor procedures over the years and am very happy with Dr. Streidls’s treatment.

Great appointment with Dr. Streidl! Gave me plenty of time to chat and ask questions. Did a thorough examination, did an immediate fix on the spot and awesome visit in general. I waited literally 1 minute and I was in the examination room. I’d recommend Dr. Streidl to anyone… including family and friends.

I love going to visit Dr. Streidl! He is the best dermatologists I have had.
He is very knowledgeable and gives me the time I need to answer all my questions… no matter how insignificant. I really like his laid back attitude which always puts me at ease. I’ve never had anything but good things to say about him & his office.
Usually there is a little bit of a wait when sitting in the exam room, but I can understand that he’s a busy guy.
The office is always clean, friendly staff & easy parking.
I would recommend him & his office to anyone looking for a good experience.

I’m a big fan of Dr. Streidl and his team. I was running a little late the day of my appointment, but they checked me in super fast and I didn’t have to wait. I had to get 2 minor surgeries done, and he had me in and out of there in under an hour.
His bedside manner was excellent. I was very nervous about the whole thing, but he kept me talking and there were no tears and no pain. I wish I could say that for my previous experiences with previous doctors. This was probably the best experience I could have had in my situation, and I left feeling ten times better than when I went in. What a relief! :)

I found the care I received at Polyclinic-​Northgate to be excellent. I was able to get an appointment quickly and was seen in a timely manner at the clinic. Dr. Streidl was friendly and involved; he relieved much of my anxiety over the varying skin changes that one develops with age as well as thouroughly dealing with more serious matters. I’m glad that I was referred to him and his team; I’ll go there in the future!

I saw Dr. John Streidl at the Polyclinic-​Northgate to discuss options for my recurring acne. In 2005 I was on Accutane, and my face was perfectly clear for years thereafter. However, in the past several months, more and more pimples have been appearing. Understandably, I wanted to get a handle on it before things were out of control again, this time at age 24.
I was very impressed with Dr. Streidl’s bedside manner and his knowledgeability. (I should add that as a nurse, my standards are higher than they used to be, and he still exceeded them!) It is such a bonus to find a provider who treats you like a person rather than just one of many patients AND who proves to know his specialty! He greeted me in a down-​to-​earth way that didn’t make me feel that there was a doctor-​patient barrier, then asked me how I rated my acne on that particular day, asked what I’m doing for my skin care currently, reviewed my history, etc. All the while taking his time and not rushing me. He then went over treatment options, and even despite all of my questions, he remained very patient and thorough with his answers. After his recommendation, he asked me what my preference would be, what my thoughts/​opinions were, and together we made a plan. I have never been so pleased with my care! I will recommend him to anyone who is looking for a very competent, yet caring, dermatologist. Thank you Dr. Streidl!
I forgot to mention that the wait time was very minimal, and front desk staff were friendly and cheerful in getting my registration taken care of.
I have nothing negative to say — it was a very pleasant experience!

I’m a mom, and a have a kid in the Autism Spectrum.
After waiting, over an hour to be seen-​my kid was with me– Dr. Streidl showed up. I was rushed and treated like if I was taking his time. It was very hard to talk to him. He was rude! I certainly don’t appreciate this kind of treatment.
The type of medication he prescribed irritaded my stomach.
I’m still in the search for a caring, empathetic, and professional dermatologist.

I was starting to break out like a teenager again and was so glad to get an appointment with Dr. Streidl within the week.
Dr. Streidl and staff are great. I arrived early and filled out the paperwork. Thank goodness I didn’t have to wait too long. Usually when I go to the dermatologist I go with absolutely no makeup on so the doctor can see how my skin really looks like.
Right away the Dr. Streidl was very nice and friendly; very easy to talk to. He answered my questions and was generous with giving me prescriptions that would work for my acne.
