I like going to Maleng Building cafeteria because the people who works there are very helpful, courteous and smiling faces. They keep the place clean too.

The Harborview Medical Center’s basement cafeteria is a very spacious, clean, cafeteria that offers a selection of popular American foods, as well as a few interesting vegetarian meals. I ordered the veggie nut sauce which is a few varieties of crushed nuts suspended in a thick soup as well as a side of spinach and rice.(It should be noted that the rice and spinach are not included in the cost of the nut-sauce.) Overall, I thought it was an inventive dish with an interesting texture and consistency, but also feel that it was a bit bland.

I have only been here during busier times for soup($ 2.50 cup and $ 3 bowl). The counter lady was very courteous and informative as to what my lunch options were and how to order. Today, I decided to have their Panini special of the day — Italian. It is the size of a pizza slice but double the size and was under $ 5 too! It was hot, delish and made to order. There is a Veggie Panini that they offer too and is under $ 4. They also offer many items to go that are made in house or through Molly’s wraps and sandwiches. Snack, chips, bottled juices and some candies are available too. Their hot drinks range from all kinds of coffee, teas and hot chocolate. Personally, I love their FREE water that have real cucumbers infused into it. NUM!
