Cosmopolitan Apartments

I love living here! The location could not be better… Easy access to I-​5, multiple bus lines, short walking distance to UW and Wallingford, which is just enough removed from the big city but still has great restaurants, grocery stores, and anything else you may need. But my favorite part is how dog friendly this place is! Love seeing all the dogs around and having endless treats and poop bags available. The management is awesome as is the maintenance staff– super friendly and helpful. Couldn’t imagine living anywhere else!

I have enjoyed living in the Cosmopolitan Apartment complex for the past 3 years. The location is great, nested right between the University District and Wallingford. And getting downtown couldn’t be easier with easy access to the freeway and lots of busses. The freeway can be a bit noisy, but I have quickly grown used to the constant hum and it really doesn’t bother me. It is only in the summer when I want to open the windows that I really hear the noise.
The apartment is the most affordable option I’ve seen in the area and still a well kept and safe building. I’ve only had one bad incident with my bike being stolen out of the bike room.
The maintenance has always been extremely friendly and quick to respond to any request no matter what time.
There aren’t a lot of amenities but the price and location make up for it. The shared outdoor space with two grills is a nice option in the summer. The building is also very pet friendly — I’ve met so many great dogs!
All in all, I would recommend renting here looking for a competitively-​priced apartment in a convenient location, have pets, and don’t care too much about extra amenities.

I absolutely loved living here. Merina the building manager is so great, she is actually the best building manager I have ever met. She is so sweet, honest, and professional. I am so happy I got the chance to live here!
Its in a great location, right off the freeway, and is affordable for everything it offers. The building is always clean! The maintenance guy Marvin is a pleasure to be around, he is so friendly and nice.
I never ever had any issues living here and would move back if I had the chance.

I have lived at the Cosmopolitan for 4 years now. The property manager is amazing she is very fair and will do anything to help you out. The maintenance guy is half of the reason that I have stayed in the Cosmopolitan, he is there for you 24 hours a day and will do anything to help you out. I have nothing negative to say about the Cosmopolitan apartments. I would recommend moving her to anyone I know.

The staff at the Cosmopolitan Apartments have been consistently kind & responsive to the needs of the community and in particular, accommodating special circumstances. It’s nice to live in a place where management genuinely shows empathy for the tenants and not just «the bottom line.» As other posts have noted, the building is in a great location, straddling two lively neighborhoods (Wallingford & U-District)-lot’s of shops, grocery, bars, dining & movie options within easy walking distance. And best of all, they love dogs-​and my dog loves them. :-)

My wife and I have lived here for 2 years and have just renewed our lease for a 3^rd year. It’s a great pet friendly community located right above the Wine World. All of the shops and bars on Wallingford’s 45^th St are within walking distance. Also, it’s close to UW, so it’s a very lively area. We’ve had good experiences with the property management as well.

I’ve been living here for ~2 months so far and overall I am pretty satisfied with this place. I honestly didn’t check out the place before signing the lease because I didn’t have time to visit Seattle in person. Chris, the property manager at the time, was very helpful with the whole process and made it hassle-​free. I’m currently renting a studio, which is ~350 square feet (there’s different-​sized ones, but I think mine is the smallest), and it isn’t bad at all. It opens up to a courtyard inside and it isn’t that noisy even though the freeway is real close (the windows are pretty sound-​proof when closed). The place is clean, it has secured access, and also has a garage ($ 75/​month) for covered parking. The maintenance man, Marlon, is also real chill and cool to talk to. For the price, I think it’s a pretty decent place to live for a year and I’m satisfied so far with my apartment.

Do not rent from this place or any Pinnacle Properties. The 1^st lease you sign, they give you lots of perks to lure you in, then after that, disaster hits. They put things that are totally unreasonable into your lease and if you don’t agree, they won’t let you sign a lease and charge you extra for being on month-​to-​month. Also, after move out, the management will charge you with outrageous costs and will count on your not affording a lawyer to fight them for your deposit. I have talked with other tenants who have rented from different Pinnacle rentals who have had similar nightmarish experiences.

This little apartment complex sits on top of the Office Max where 45^th street meets I-​5. I’ve been living here for about 6 months in one of their studios and I have very few complaints so far.
The building is pet friendly — ALL sizes of dogs are welcome, which I was astounded to hear. Finding a place that will take a dog over 50 lbs is the definition of the proverbial search for the needle in the haystack. I have a small dog but I was nonetheless delighted to hear they don’t discriminate. The population of the building is overwhelming pet owners but so far I haven’t noticed any problems relating to it. There is a pet deposit and you’re only getting half of it back at the end of but that’s de rigeur.
The building is mostly quiet, 20-​somethings and their dogs. The rent is not cheap but manages to stay just this side of reasonable — I currently shell out $ 790/​month for a comfortable if tiny studio. I could pay less to live somewhere with roommates but this seemed worth it and I haven’t regretted it yet. Some of the amenities include parquet floors that so far have managed to be basically indestructible. The building has the look and feel of exactly what it is — a renovated hotel. If you hate hotels, you probably won’t enjoy it but the novelty has yet to wear off for me. My apartment came with an accent wall already painted and the apartments have a nice, finished and decorated feel to them. I’m on the top floor and rarely have to turn my heater on. Kitchen is tiny, electric stoves, comes with a refrigerator (bigger units might come with more, I don’t know).
My biggest rave about this place is the management. Heather, the apartment manager, has to be the nicest landlord in town. Friendly to a fault, available and employs a friendly, accessible maintenance guy.
My only complaints about the place are that the rent for my tiny studio is a tad high, the fee for parking in the underground garage is $ 75/​month despite the ample street parking available and… well, that’s it. Compared to some experiences I’ve had in the past with apartments, their buildings, residents and managers — I feel overwhelmingly positive about living here.
