Cartridge World Ink & Toner

I’ve had great results at this local business for years. There was a problem with my latest cartridge exchange (I don’t know whether it was actually with the printer or the cartridge). I took printer in and met local owner James in the process and it worked fine in the shop. When I got home, it wouldn’t work. I called back and James volunteered to come over to my house immediately, ran diagnostics and got it working perfectly. Now that’s customer service! Very highly recommended.

Great service, and even spent a little time to educate me on my printer. I would recommend them to anybody looking to save a few $$ on ink toner.

Friendly, helpful, and they have what I need. Bonus: Today someone came out FOR FREE and replaced the drum unit FOR FREE. I’ll be looking for more printer-​related stuff I can buy from these guys so that I can support a good business.

It’s a great tool that he used to improve his customer service. James is in contact with our office buyer and will visit to determine how he can save us $$ on the machines we used daily.

I cannot believe that I am writing a review about a printer ink retail store… but I was so impressed with the service that I had to give them props for it.
It totally blows when products (in this case a cartridge I had purchased somewhere else) don’t work as advertised (in this case, the cartridge didn’t print black… and reading text in yellow ink had gotten pretty tedious). However, it always helps a little when somebody tells you WHY the darn thing doesn’t work.
The friendly helpful cartridge world guy patiently explained to me why the cartridge wasn’t working (I had probably exposed it to static electricity and blew the chip), reassured me that it was poor design and totally wasn’t really my fault (phew…I was feeling pretty bad), and gave me half a dozen other helpful tips about how to make sure my ink doesn’t clog and how to clean printer heads. Totally nothing that i would have taken the time to read on my own — but knowledge that might save me some frustrated screams later in life.
Oh — and the $ 1-​off for depositing trade-​ins is pretty sweet AND their cartridges are also cheap. All in all I could not have asked for more and will not hesitate to go out of my way to get my ink here as opposed to online.

I have been using Cartridge World for almost 2 years now, and couldn’t be more satisfied. I usually do a bulk order annually and smaller as needed orders for less used printers in the office. My biggest annoyance is to be bothered intermittently about if I need toner, as I know when I am low on toner. I expressed this to Cartridge World and imagine this; they actually obliged! I get a monthly email and have a direct link set-​up on my computer to reorder at the click of a button. No annoying sales calls to deal with! I had an issue with one toner cartridge, gave them a call and was given a replacement the next day! Great Service! I am still ridden with constant calls from OTHER toner companies that can’t take NO thank you I am happy with my provider and move on, but for a $ 1−5ish savings I am not interested in being bothered on a regular basis about my toner stock. So bravo CW you guys and gals ROCK!

I just dropped off a bunch of printer cartridges, thinking it was just recycling dropoff. Apparently they give you store credit for them! $ 1 for smalls and $ 2 for larger ones. I got a free cartridge and still had a penny of credit left.

Today I was writing a shipping label and low and behold the printer ran out of ink. Dang, who keeps a replacement ink cartridge for a HP printer handy? Not me, so I search the internet and find these things cost $ 36 a piece. I’m not giving that money to the man for just an ink cartridge. So, I search and find Cartridge World, they have to be cheaper than retail cost for those certified replacements.
That said, I’m off to Cartridge World and it’s a simple small place with a counter and loads of laser printer cartridges lining the wall. You can see the back room and see they are busy filling or refurbishing replacements.
So, the damage is $ 24 dollars and I get $ 2 off for the empty cartridge. Okay, this is money well spent and about 30% off of retail replacements.

I’ve been getting my printer cartridges from this company for years. Today I returned a cartridge that was producing smudged images, hoping that my printer wasn’t finally dying. It turns out my cats had been hanging out on my computer cart and the cartridge was full of kitty fur. The staff cleaned out the cartridge for me at no cost!

When I need ink, I walk to this shop. I call in advance but I know they have whichever size/​color I demand. I visit roughly once each year. I recommend Cartridge World to people in need of ink.
I like the idea of the $ 1 discount for cartridge returns. Given the convenience and hours of this shop, I find that I no longer plan/​consider ink purchases in advance.

We went in to buy an ink cartridge. It was cheaper than Amazon but not by a whole lot. When the owner asked I wanted to receive weekly emails from their business I declined. So began five minutes of being *berated* for not handing over an email address. («What, you don’t have two? It must be nice to be so rich!»). It was shockingly rude. The other employee looked very embarrassed, making me think this was a common screed.
Saving a few pennies from a competitor isn’t worth the hassle. I have no confidence in them standing behind their products if this is how they treat a paying customer. Whatever these guys may quote, it’s definitely not worth it.

They know so much and will help you 100%!! And cheaper than other store!
They give you $ 1 off if you bring back the cartridge for refill.
Pros:
they have a numerous stock of cartridges. They will search for the right cartridge for your printer. Good staff. Quick and fast.
Cons:
It is a refilled cartridge. It has been used before by someone. limited parking spots.

My Samsung ML-​1630 laser printer’s original toner/​ink ran out before I had even printed 200 pages in my estimation, since I rarely print. Local Staples did not have toner in-​store, and said it would cost $ 80 and take a week or so to order. The help desk guy could not even figure out how to open this unique printer, and I was no help in that.
Decided to try Cartridge World. They were willing to do it in several hours for $ 50. Unfortunately, when I came home and tried to print, the pages came out completely black and one got stuck and would not come out.
Went back, and Cartridge World redid the job and refunded me my original payment without my even asking for that. New printer works great so far.

CW has lowered their prices — my HP60 refill was cheaper than anywhere I’ve found! AND the customer service was just awesome. Someone walked in a moment before me, and lo! another person appeared to take care of me. They also seemed content, kinda happy to be there, and I always like that!

A+ Customer Service. My printer jammed up on me today while printing wedding invitations and these guys came to my rescue! I called and the guy on the phone told me that this isn’t really what they do and that their tools were limited but he was happy for me to bring it in and see what they could do. When I came in they took it and went right to work. The one guy who helped me (I am so sorry I didn’t get your name) not only got it un-​jammed but plugged in to make sure it was going to work before I left the store. And he didn’t even make fun of my epic «blonde moment» when they showed me that the back opens so that you can remove such a paper jam. You saved the day! Cheers!

Why would I go to one of the big office supply stores to pay big sums for manufacturer brand refills, when I can come to Cartridge World and get the same (if not better) quality for much less?
These folks know their stuff when it comes to your printer’s needs. The crew is super helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. They got me exactly what I needed quick.
The cartridges give me high quality, sharp and bold printing. And I’m pretty sure they last longer than the others.
Anyway, save some cash, get excellent service and an outstanding product from these guys. Then you can hit Bottlehouse for a good bottle of wine with the $$ you save!

The «Many-​worlds» theory of quantum mechanics suggests that all versions of history and future are real. There are many worlds on this specific corner of 45^th – one for wine (Wine World) and this one for… well, cartridges. You might think an entire world devoted entirely to cartridges would be overkill, and that it must suck to have to set up your world right below such an obviously superior realm. True. But the pleasant folk at Cartridge World attend to their tourists gracefully – even having a few devoted parking slots just for you (watch out for the surly smokers and the strategically placed, weight-​bearing garage posts when you park.)

I hate the printer industry and its system of unremitting economic waterboarding every time you need to buy ink. My kids can make CMYK say «uncle» in one good afternoon printing out Russian propaganda posters. I have proof.
But since there’s no real way around it, unless you want to go through 13^th century machinations at Kinko’s or the UPS store just to get a file to them, and to ensure they know how to open it when you do (both heavy risks I’ve fallen on the wrong side of) it’s a necessary evil.
Buying the CMYK spread from Epson would cost me $ 75 or so. At World (WorldWorld) Of (Of, of) CAR… TRIDGE! (idge, idge), it would have been $ 45 or so. That’s pretty significant. But wait! It gets better! It is very much worth it to be a frequent flyer there. I am pretty sure I’ve only bought from them once before (though it may have been twice), but as I was checking out the cashier informed me that I had completed a «punch card» (happy points for not having to carry or even know about said punch card) and as such got a $ 7 discount, bringing the total hit to almost exactly half what I’d be charged elsewhere (this ink can’t be found at Costco).
I just installed this new batch and it’s smooth sailing. Cartridge World may not be cause for space tourism bragging rights, but the people are sweet and helpful (no Seattle bad-​itude) and the price is a sort of novacaine for the inevitable Wing Chun-​style bitch-​slap of ink-​buying.
