Thrifty Airport Parking

Used them multiple times without any issues. Great shuttle service, picks you up from your car and drops you off at your car. Never had to wait more than five minutes for shuttles

I had confirmed parking at thrifty airport parking on December 26. I arrived and was informed (after driving around the entrance and finally getting out of my car to go «bother» someone at the parking booth) that my reservation for which I had put down a deposit was not able to be honored. At that time, the attendant gave me a letter indicating I should email them when I return and that they would reimburse me for the difference in cost between what we paid for parking at the airport.
While I appreciate Thrifty’s attempt at making good on the reservation by awarding the reimbursement, this could have been a less painful transaction if we had received any indication prior to our arrival that our reservation was not gong to be honored. We received no email or call to let us know. As it was, we barely made our flight after a long search for parking that ended with a creative use of space for which we were glad to not be towed.
I will never use or consider using this company again.

Totally sucked. Made a reservation and paid a deposit in advance. Get to the lot to find they intentionally overbooked «because a lot of people don’t show up». No spaces. Sorry out of luck. Had to scramble for an expensive airport lot space. Thrifty sucks. Never again.

Well we have been waiting curbside for 20 minutes with no sign of a thrifty bus. Every other parking lot has had 3 or 4 buses come by. When we left on our trip the shuttle ran so slow that my husband almost missed our flight! We won’t be using them again.

This is the second time I have parked at this location and once again it was a smooth and easy experience. You park in the lot, and you better be ready to go because the shuttle bus it there to whip you to the airport before you even turn off your engine! The return trip there is always more of a wait… but still not bad. Maybe 10 minutes this time. Checkout was a breeze and I was charged exactly what the quote was. Perfect experience — I will be back!

Used to park here all the time. Now, I cannot seem to even pay a deposit on their website… every single card I use gets declined. Looks like I will have to find another parking solution.

When I returned from my trip, my instructions were to call Thrifty to get the shuttle to come pick me up to take me to my car. I called MANY times before I reached someone — first from a courtesy phone at the airport and later from my cell phone. The lady on the phone said she had been busy helping other customers, so she could not answer the phone. It’s stressful to have this kind of experience after returning from a trip. The airport parking is better, but more expensive.

One person dedicated to checking people out and in during a busy time after you have already stood in line. Poor management of staff utilization.

Our experience at Thrifty was very good. On the outbound they came to our parking slot and picked us up right behind our vehicle. Driver was courteous.
On returning to our car after a four day trip we found that we’d left a door ajar so the dome light has drained our car’s battery. Long story short the two van drivers in the lot were very helpful. They dropped off a battery charger (I will say that I’m not sure the thing was in working order) checked on us several times and then came back with jumper cables. The one driver (I should have checked his name) even helped us push the car so it could be jumped.
So, for us, the customer service was above and beyond what was expected and we were very pleased.

If there’s a way to give them no star I’d do that. Their shuttle frequency compare to other companies is way to less. It’s been over 40min since we called them to pick us up. Not to even mention that we actually called 4 times till someone pick the phone up. Oh! one shuttle did come 4min ago. BUT, it was too full they can’t take us!!! so we have to stand in cold air for even longer!!! We literally see 13 master park shuttles now. 10 from Wally parking. And bunch other companies. Def no more business from us and highly suggest anyone DO NOT use their service unless you like waiting!!!
FYI, no shuttle showed up yet!

So I found myself I need of parking without much time to spare after the lot I planned on parking in was full, as were the two subsequent lots I visited.
Thankfully thrifty had some room, and while it came at a higher price I was pleased with the overall experience. So I came in on a Friday morning around 0610 and was able to self park my car which is important to me because I really don’t like the idea of a valet when I’m headed out of town, I want my keys with me it’s just my personal preference. That being said I was able to find a spot fairly quickly, by heading towards the back of the lot where I knew there would be some room. I grabbed my carryon and headed towards the front of the lot and was promptly met by a shuttle bus, he circled around to a couple other cars and helped them and there numerous bags aboard and within 5 mins of parking we were headed to the airport. 5mins later we were at the airport and being dropped off based on what airline we were flying.
Forgot mention they give you a slip with your parking stall number and instructions on where the shuttle will meet you upon your return, I found the instructions fairly clear and basically I just reversed the route I had taken from the bus. Within 10 – 15 mins of me being curbside I was picked up. The reason I gave them 3 stars is really for two specific things 1. The bus flew by me even though I was standing at island 3 (the designated pickup location) apparently the driver picks up towards the end of the island not the beginning. 2. The price is high I believe I paid $ 13.50 per day and while I parked at 0600 on Friday and picked up at 1000 Saturday I still was charged for two full days, NO PRORATED PRICE. So with Tax, and a military discount I paid $ 31.08.
