MasterPark Lot A

Do yourself a favor and go to WallyPark. I travel on average 2 weeks a month and normally park at Wally, but all the lots were full so I parked at Master.
The staff said I could sign up for rewards at the counter upon return, and then I return and the guy at the counter said I was misinformed. He even said «well if you signed up earlier you could have gotten xx amount of points.» I told him I was upset and he said it was «impossible to add points» after the fact. Impossible? Really? He said it was pointless to talk to his managers, so I didn’t.
He ended up giving me the Boeing rate so it was less expensive (I was putting up a fight about the points), but for 4 days it still cost $ 60.

Valet parking is fine.
HOWEVER, should you ever have an issue with their rewards program, their customer service is quite lacking. 14 email exchanges and counting… (sheesh!)

Having just moved to Seattle, I didn’t have a clue which parking service to use for my week long trip. I found a groupon for MasterPark Lot A, read Unilocal reviews, and decided to purchase it. Everything went smoothly, from finding the lot, to the shuttle, to the ease of the return back from Sea-​Tec. Staff were friendly and helpful.
My only issue right now, is I found it a little pricey. Not sure I’d use again without a coupon (although I did see they had online coupons on their site).
Overall, a pleasant experience.

I had a friend recommend MasterPark. I finally decided to try it out after buying the Groupon deal for Lot A. Everything about the process was smooth sailing. Dropped my car off there was a great friendly shuttle driver who explained exactly what I needed to do when I returned. When I got back to the lot my car was there waiting and ready. I will definitely use MasterPark in the future.

I usually use Lot C and have had great experiences, decided to try Lot A because of the Groupon. Had a ton of issues because they seem really disorganized:
1. The Lot was running only one shuttle to the airport for pickup on a clearly busy Thursday night. When I said that to the cashier, he said that they were running 2 (the other shuttle was dark and parked in the corner, I think he lied). I saw 5 other MP Lot shuttles before this one showed up and there were a lot of people on the shuttle. I had to call, never had to do that before.
2. This Lot expects you to call and give your ticket number, the other Lot drivers just collect all tickets and call them in when they pick you up. One customer had not called in and the driver made it sound like calling in was mandatory, it caused a further delay because it seemed like he was not used to this situation.
3. The cashier was taking it easy checking people out in the super small booth and chatting while some of us 5 people in line were standing outside in 37 deg weather late at night and after long flights.
4. I told him that I was going back to Lot C because they were a lot more organized, his response was «ok». Clearly, he did not think that an apology was in order and seemed to have an attitude.
5. Whoever parked my car does not know how to deal with cars that have turn the lights on and off based on light sensors. The lights were manually over-​ridden and I did not realize until I was almost on the freeway.
The driver on my departure trip told me that the Groupon could be used at Lot C. If I ever use MasterPark again (and that is undecided), it will be at Lot C not at some dinky motel (Red Lion) MasterPark A. Do yourself a favor and avoid this amateur operation.

Overall, not a great experience. I was admittedly a little hesitant to park somewhere where you have to leave a key for valet services. The reviews made them seem relatively trustworthy, but I took pretty much all of my valuables out just in case.
When I picked up my truck, I noticed a penny on my floorboard that wasn’t there when I dropped it off, so that made me a little suspicious. Upon further inspection, it looks like one of the employees dug through my little change compartment to the left of my steering wheel and took all the quarters out of there. After seeing that, I remembered that I had left a few dollars tucked in my center console in case of an emergency (usually a $ 5 and a few $ 1’s) and sure enough that was gone, too. I kind of wonder what else they rummaged through while my truck was with them. I’m glad I took the gift cards I usually leave in there out before I left home. It’s honestly not a huge deal to me, but I will never use them again due to a lack of trust. I left them an internal review several weeks ago and asked for them to contact me, but they never did, so I figured I would post here. The rest of the experience was okay, but I would be leery to ever use them again.

We got a parking ticket while we were out of the country. They took no responsibility. Claimed that our plates had been cloned. They have not. No further tickets.

They were very nice and quick… My car was parking waiting firm my return. Even at 12 at night… Will use them every time we travel.

I have parked at MasterPark before. Though previously at Lot B. Based on the good experience I had there, I decided to look into MasterPark again as I needed to find airport parking for a few days while I flew home to Hawaii for a family wedding.
There was a great promotion on Groupon for 3 days parking (5 days also available) at Lot A which was made sweeter by an additional coupon discount Groupon was offering, so I decided to buy it. The rates here are higher than some other airport parking spots, but paying $ 32 for 3 days at Lot A after the discount seemed pretty reasonable to me. A huge discount off the original price which is almost double.
Lot A is located on International Boulevard, though this lot is a little further away than Lot B to the airport entrance. As you head south on International, you need to make a U turn as the parking lot entrance is located at the Red Lion.
This lot has valet parking so you get out of your car and take your luggage out. Then you hand your keys to the attendant and provide a day and time of when you expect to return to the lot. Once they get that info, they give you a claim ticket to hold onto. After you get this, get onto the airport shuttle and tell the driver which airline you are flying. They then drop you off at the courtesy shuttle stop closest to your airline.
I like MasterPark because the parking process is so simple. You are on your way in a few minutes to the airport. I haven’t had to wait a long time for a shuttle. And when you return, you head back to the same courtesy shuttle stop and call MasterPark. Give them your claim number and wait for your shuttle bus to arrive. Again, it was just a short wait for a shuttle. Once on, the trip to the lot is much quicker since the lot is near the south end exit of the airport.
As I arrived back to the lot, my car was already parked in front. Once I paid, I was back on the road headed home. If you are looking for a parking lot that will get you to and from the airport fast and has a quick pay process, I would recommend MasterPark. Parking here is a little pricey, but if you can find a promotion it is well worth parking at Lot A and MasterPark in general.

Bought a Groupon for 5 days at Lot A, additional days $ 12.99 printed on the Groupon. Dropped our car off Sunday night, returned the following Sunday. We were charged by the hour after the five days. Pointed out that the Groupon showed additional days at $ 12.99, we were told that was how their computer calculated the rate. I have contacted Groupon, and my husband is trying to contact the manager at this lot. I may change my rating if the manager makes this right.

I used to park in this lot a couple times a month, when I traveled for business. The last time I was there, someone stole all the cash out of my car… and even ate some of the snacks in the car. What a violation!

No complaints. I dropped my car off, was immediately taken to the airport. The driver suggested I look in the Alaska airlines magazine for a coupon (which I did and found) for a reduced rate. When I returned I was picked up promptly, coincidentally by the same driver who recognized me, asked about my trip and remembered my car and said he took good care of it for me. It was waiting for me at the checkin/​checkout area with trunk open for my suitcase. Don’t go thinking I’m a hot 20-​something that got great service, I’m a not-​so-​hot 50 something. Great service for all!

What a breeze! We were picked up promptly from the airport, the driver recalled our name and circumstances, was very friendly and upbeat which was great considering he is working on Christmas. The woman who processed the paperwork was equally as delightful. The pricing was perfect. A great experience. Will not hesitate to use again.

Mental Note: Lot B is closer to the airport than Lot A.
While I like MasterPark and feel their prices are reasonable, they stress me out. Even though I’ve never waited longer than 15 minutes for a shuttle, the longer the wait the more antsy I get. I’m usually in a rush (like everyone else) to catch a flight and more time waiting is less time at the airport.
The drivers are super friendly (and like to announce when they need to tuck in their shirt). They are helpful and ask friendly reminders like, «Everyone get all their stuff? Passports, ID’s, boarding passes etc.?»
Print your coupon ahead of time. If you’re a MS employee, it’s 15% off when you flash your badge.
It’s safe, fast, and reliable!
Sometimes when you return, your car will have been shat on heavily.

the drivers on bus A do the airport hotel run, and when you get at either end and your not banged up, stressed out, it was considered a good ride

We’ve parked here several times, usually in conjunction with a «park and fly» package at the Red Lion Hotel next door to this lot. Most of the time this has been uneventful, but this time there was an interesting twist that led to a little disappointment. We purchased a 10-​day park and fly package, checking in at about 6pm on our arrival day. We returned 10 days later at about 11pm. All was just fine until they said we «had a little balance» to take care of. I checked with the cashier and there was almost a $ 20 balance including taxes for the «five hour overage». Of course, when we reserved the package we were told by the travel agent that the 10-​day package would completely cover the entire stay, but this didn’t matter to MasterPark. Fortunately we were staying the night at the hotel again that night and they had a $ 9.99 coupon for parking. We were able to leave our vehicle one extra night (rather than parking the vehicle ourselves that night) and still save some money after taxes. I think we’ll just use the WalleyPark garage in the future.

Per my coworker’s recommendation, I parked here last Memorial Day weekend. I made an online reservation for a parking space, though normally it shouldn’t be necessary, but just in case they got full and I didn’t want that kind of hassle.
After stopping under the sheltered spot, a guy took some notes on when I’d return to pick it up and took my keys. and off I went onto the shuttle. The guy picked up my carryon and put it inside the shuttle. I was the only one in the shuttle, nobody else was around. I started feeling anxious because it was cutting close to my boarding time and I wasn’t sure how the line at TSA security checkpoint was going to be. Thankfully 3 minutes later people started appearing and getting into the shuttle, as well as the shuttle driver. The driver asked us around which airlines we were taking and he dropped us off accordingly at the airport.
Upon returning, though from what I was told and what I read, it seems like you don’t really need to call in for a pickup since a shuttle will come around at least once every 5 minutes (at Island 1 or 3), but I guess that’s not completely true. Turns out that they want you to call in so they can get your car ready as soon as you arrive back at the Lot. This other guy who took the shuttle with me didn’t call in first and the shuttle driver seemed a little pissed about it. The driver had to ‘call in’ for him and read the ticket number. The guy ended up apologizing.
When I got back at Lot A, I paid right where I first dropped my car. The girl didn’t ask about coupons, and therefore I forgot to give her the coupon that I actually had already printed out and was ready in my wallet. While I was making payment the driver put my luggage inside the trunk of my car. When I checked my car, there were some dirts like handprints (or dirt marks from dirty objects) on one side of my car trunk, but other than that my car was in the same shape it was when I dropped it off. Overall, it was a smooth experience and I will park here again for my next trip.

This is my go to place for airport parking now. I used to be a Doug Fox guy, but this lay out flows much smoother. It has more staff and paying is a snap, as is having your car brought to you, instead of riding around in a shuttle.
It took me awhile to get used to this place, but I like it a lot now. It seems like I don’t wait very long at all now, and I’m on my way very quickly.

I really had a good experience parking in Lot A, which is closest to the airport. Fast, convenient and efficient.
My beef is with the return and settling up. I got in very early and was a little groggy so I didn’t present my web coupon — no big deal. Curious though that no one thought to ask if I had a coupon or promo I’d like to use. When the bill came up it was much higher than what I had in mind. Then I remembered my coupon. The cashier made the adjustment but the bill still seemed high.
Tired and not up for making an argument I paid the bill and trod back to my car. Doing the math over and over I couldn’t make it work so I took a closed look at my receipt. 10% sales tax, 10% city tax and a screwy $ 2.50 «transaction surcharge» that negated my coupon savings.
Thus what had been a pleasant customer experience turned into a sense that I had been ripped off over a sneaky little fee that was never disclosed and certainly wasn’t warranted.
I hate bait and switch. Buyer beware, or just take it out of the tip you might otherwise offer up… Just sayin’
Update: So fair is fair and in the interest of full disclosure I wanted to pass along that within hours of posting my review I received replies from two managers at Masterpark regarding the «transaction fee»… seems my beef is with the Port of Seattle rather than Masterpark and the fee is a regulated charge that everyone pays in that neck of the woods.
I appreciate knowing that someone is listening.

It’s valet only so remember to mentally add a tip when you’re figuring out the cost benefit of parking in this lot.
With a Microsoft discount it was like $ 11 a day. With a coupon printed from the interweb it’s like $ 13.50 a day.
They shuttle you to and from the airport for free, and my experience was they were very timely on the pick-​up.
