This was an awesome experience! It was great to cruise around downtown Phoenix on a segway while learning some fun facts about the city. The instructor was friendly and helpful and kept the tour fun. Looking forward to more segway adventures in the future!

Thomas gave us a fun, fact-​filled tour of downtown Scottsdale on a beautiful 74 degree day in December! We’ve lived here 35 years and we saw things we never knew were here! Loved playing «name that mountain» lol! Got some great shots, stopped for a latte by the canal, really covered lots of ground and even «danced» to some tunes over our earbuds on the way back. Went down a sidewalk step too! Segways are wonderful modes of transportation! Thank you for a fun afternoon!!!

What a great way to spend an evening! We had Patrick as a guide and he was very knowledgeble of Scottsdale and surrounding areas.
All of us were first timers except for two. There were actually 3 groups with a max of 8 people in each group. They showed us how to ride and gave us some time to get used to the Segways. They are easy and fun to use. They provide everything except a jacket. Everyone has to wear a helmet (like I said they provide it) and once we were ready we departed. They go all through old town and the Fashion Square areas. Pretty cool.
Everyone had a great time and the only incident was my wife falling off and injuring her knee, but that was because she lost her balance and she was not seriously hurt.
Would we do it again? Heck yea, I’m ready now!

First of all, do not mix this company up with Scottsdale Segway Tours, owned by Todd and Becca, which is the one you should choose.
Groupon or not, Segway of Scottsdale should be out of business. They are ill prepared to take people out on segways and their equipment, from what we saw, is old and tossed one atop another into the back of a pickup truck. I can’t go into too much detail, but a group of us toured with Segway of Scottsdale and my friend was seriously injured. She ended up needing surgery and traction all because of equipment which when standing still, threw her into the air. We were not given enough training and were allowed to zoom around the parking lot on our own. I know the two companies get mixed up in reviews so remember Excellent = Todd and Becca from Scottsdale Segway Tours. Horrible = Segway of Scottsdale !

My fiancée and I booked a tour while we were in town. Yes, you’re going to look like a fool on a Segway. But man are they fun. The tour was long, but we still wanted more by the end! Daisha our tour guide was great and helped everyone get up and going. Thank you, Daisha!

Having never been on a Segway before, we had some out of town guests that were looking for something interesting to do. This turned out to be a big hit for everyone in our group. We picked Tempe Town Lake since it has a nice combination of open areas and obstacles — and the view of the lake is really nice. Our guide was Tiffany, and she was exceptional during the tutorial phase as well as the tour. One person we brought was nervous that she was going to fall or crash, but five minutes into the tutorial our guest realized how easy it was to ride a Segway. The only downside of the tour is that the price is a little on the high side but worth it at least for the first time.
I also want to add that Segway of Scottsdale’s customer service was very helpful in working with a Living Social issue we had with our coupon. Smoothing that issue out really helped ensure that I’d recommend it to friends and that I’ll be back with more guests someday. Thanks guys!

We had so much fun yesterday on the segway tour around the Tempe Lake. Our guide was Jared, and he was very knowledgeable and very fun. Not only did he teach our group how to ride a segway safely, he also knew quite a bit about the area and we learned interesting stuff. All in all, I highly recommend this outing — we had so much fun riding around Tempe!

My wife booked a tour with Segway of Scottsdale for me and our daughter. With both of us never been on a Segway, it was going to be quite an adventure.
Our guide David to the time to teach us how to safely operate the Segway. My daughter was not as proficient as the others in our group so David made sure she was comfortable in riding the Segway and even helped her on a downgrade .
As far as the tour, David took the time to explain certain points through the town. He safely navigated the group around Scottsdale. I thoroughly enjoyed the tour.
If your looking for a Segway tour in Scottsdale, I would highly recommend Segway of Scottsdale. Hopefully you’ll get David as a tour guide.

This was not our first «Segway rodeo», if you know what I mean… Jason (who we’d met previously w/​another co.) and Lindsay were great w/​helping us on our Segway’s and getting acquainted w/​the terrain. Lindsay was our tour guide and he was very informative, patient and safety minded. We enjoyed our tour of Old Town Scottsdale very much (old history+architecture+new additions/​things coming+information about trees/​plants/​weather, etc.) and would be happy to ride again w/​them!!! No issues and great customer service=5 stars!!!

We had the best experience today at Segway of Scottsdale. The tour guide, Devin was so friendly and knowledgeable about the area, she really made the experience fun. She offered to take pictures of any of the stops, and she was very patient in teaching us how to operate the segways. We took a tour of old town Scottsdale, the area have a lot of stops and scenic routes. We learned a lot about the history of the city and there were some cool stops along the way. We even got to stop at a little chocolate bar and have homemade hot cocoa and a piece of gourmet Belgian chocolate. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, I would highly recommend Segway of Scottsdale to anyone who is interested in learning something new and fun!!! Great overall experience!

Segways are great but the Desert tour is a joke. Our guide Tiffany didn’t share any information about the cactus in the area or any interesting facts about the desert. We basically rode on the sidewalks around the area to get to a desert where we had 20 minutes of open desert Segway time. Our guide had to ask us several times what time it was so she didn’t go over the 1.5 hours. I would not recommend this tour at all. It’s not worth $ 40 much less $ 75.

Our tour guide was Devin. She was so much fun and made sure we were all comfortable and safe before heading out. I was a bit intimidated at first wondering if I’ll do a face plant, but took only 2min to get the hang of it and realized just how easy and safe Segways are to operate. I just wish they would go faster!
As a person posted prior about a ‘runaway’ Segway, that is obviously operator error and if you can’t ride one of these things, then you most certainly shouldn’t be be driving a motor vehicle. They’re so simple to use they allow as young as 12 to ride as long as they weigh at least 100 pounds.
We had a blast riding around town and learned a lot that my native AZ girlfriend never even knew! Absolutely recommend them and can’t wait to do the Xmas lights tour.
We used a 2 for 1 groupon but check their web site for specials. HAVE FUN!!!

What a blast! Went with four friends on the Tempe Town Lake Tour. Lived here for over 30 years and none of us had ever been around the area. It is really amazing what already is and what is being done. I didn’t realize how large the lake was. As far as the Segway, I want one! This is my second experience. My first time was on a different machine. Loved it then, but this machine is easier to operate. The minute I stepped on it I felt as though it was a part of me and off I went. I thought for sure it would take me time to get used to it again but this one was great! Our tour guide Tiffany was «THE BEST»! Not only was she very informative but she was a lot of fun. She didn’t just guide us she interacted with us throughout. If you haven’t been on this incredible machine, do it,! Nothing to be afraid of, they train you fully before you go out and you will have a great time! I’LL BE BACK!
