We specialize in «last mile» transportation service, private tours, corporate events and mobile advertising. Our services are provided on fun, 100% electric vehicles known as tuk-tuks. Tuk-tuks are three-wheeled vehicles that are common in urban centers around the world, and are now available in Arizona. At just $ 2 per person per ride, we are an inexpensive way to get you to your destination in downtown Scottsdale. «Three wheels. Two dollars. One fun ride.» It’s an international experience, served locally.
History
Established in 2015.
The co-owners of E-TUK AZ took a trip to Costa Rica where they first encountered a tuk tuk. A tuk tuk is a three-wheeled, open-aired vehicle that are commonly used in countries outside the U.S. Upon returning, they started working to bring the unique, fun vehicles to Arizona, their home state. The business is a startup that aims to give the same fun experience they had in Costa Rica to the residents and visitors of Arizona, while being a mobile advertising platform for local businesses.
Meet the Business Owner
Cyle T. and Thomas B.
Business Owner
Cyle, a long-haired nerd, graduated from Arizona State University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. He also holds a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Drexel University. His desire to learn new skills has given him a broad technical background that he applies to the operations side of the business.
Thomas, a business-minded individual (don’t let the blue jeans and cowboy boots fool you), has professional experience in startup management and idea development that he applies to the management and strategic side of the business. His most recent venture in hay brokerage has given him a set of skills that complement Cyle’s technical skills well and result in a balanced partnership.
