Desert Splash Adventures, which is conveniently located within the Scottsdale Airport, runs from 60 – 75 minutes and include great views with audio headsets, music, and a tour map highlighting certain landmarks of the trip. Also, the nine-​passenger seaplane offers individuals their own window seat so no one has to strain themselves in hopes of a good view.

Manager

My name is Rob. I was born to make a living on the water. Throughout my childhood, my family made weeklong camping/​boating excursions to Arizona’s beautiful desert lakes… Oops, it got in my bloodstream. In college, I worked summers as a waterski instructor, learned to fly, and daydreamed about how to avoid real life. Which, naturally, led me to head for Alaska, work as a fishing guide, and pursue a career as a seaplane pilot. Now, after twenty years of fighting Alaska weather, I feel blessed to be able to head south for the winter sun and share my love of flying and these magical desert waterways that I grew up with.
