Fletcher’s Tire & Auto Service

You guys were great! Were able to fit me in last minute since I failed to plan ahead and schedule an appointment. Good price on tires and took care of the other service concerns I needed. Even brought to my attention a few things additional that I do need to fix down the road but not pushy about it at all. Just informative to make sure I’m aware.

First, Im in Phoenix, not NV.
Let me sum my experience up in short sentences.
Took truck in, it was «fixed»
Broke down again the next day,
Asked them to look at it again,
They did for an additional $ 300, on top of $ 600 I already paid.
Left, and filed BBB complaint,
Offered to fix it again for free
They had my truck for 2 weeks, when I picked it up,
broke down again the next day.
Had to EZ Pay Finance the original amount,
which after the third breakdown, I had to sell truck (not running)
and buy another used car.
Now I have car payments, AND they want to charge me 189% interest because I couldnt pay off loan in 90 days, (since I have a car payment now)
I have written to the finance company and several times to Fletchers with no call backs, or concerns on their part.
They just want to take your money and do not care what happens after you leave!
Not to mention the fact they deal with a VERY shady finance company that robs you blind!
GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Quickly greeted! People smile and are having fun here when you walk in to this place.
I had a standard oil change appointment (book in advance; they are busy), and my car was done within an hour, as requested. They also asked me if I want a tire rotation, which is huge, because 50% of the time, I forget to ask when I drop it off. I also liked that they gave the total amount due upon pick-​up.
Upon arrival, the manager advised me of issues on my car, BY SHOWING ME and explaining what was going on. In detail, he explain issues that are present, labor and cost, and sent me on my way with a list of things I’ll need to maintain my car over the next year. No pressure here. My car is 2006 Nissan Altima with 145 000 miles. The service representatives and manager are not your typical pushy sales people. They are fun people, honest, and their culture shows. A+++

They worked me in on the Friday before Labor Day! They are fair and respectful of your time as well. I will always go to Fletcher’s!

I went looking for new tires and a leveling kit for my F150. I was not sure what kind of tires, or the exact size. The store rep was very helpful. He help me find the best tire, in my price range. I had gone to other stores and did get anywhere close to the customer service. Also, they put on the leveling kit I had purchased, they didn’t make buy their kit. Overall, helpful and good price.

I was in need of an oil change and found a deal for Fletcher’s on Groupon for $ 17 Oil Change and Tire Rotation.
Called to make an appointment and had no trouble scheduling one within 2 days. After reading some of the reviews here, I called a few hours before my appointment time to see whether they were running ‘on-​time’ or ‘late’. I was assured they were ‘on-​time’ and arrived exactly at my scheduled appointment.
Doug checked me in quickly and efficiently and I asked him how long it was going to take (to which he replied 1-​hour) and said ‘You’re not going to call me and tell me I need anything additional, are you?! lol’ He laughed and said ‘We shouldn’t’ and I walked down the street to kill some time.
EXACTLY 1-​hour on the NOSE, my phone rings, my car is DONE and he mentions that I could use a new air-​filter and wiper blades (both of which I knew but neither one I wanted to invest in) and when I walked back to Fletcher’s, it was paperwork and out the door!
Professional, Courteous, and TIMELY service is all I expected and was EXACTLY what I received at Fletcher’s! I know where I’ll be going back to in 3,000 miles!

I had a groupon that was pointless because they charged me $ 8.10 on top of what I paid for the groupon which made it the same price they always charge. The guy at the counter was of no help and didn’t seem to care one bit. On top of all that it was a hour wait. I will never go to another Fletcher’s. I feel as if was ripped off by both Fletcher’s and groupon!

Not a fan at all ! I called for an oil change and they were full, so I scheduled for the following sat. When I arrived they had no appt and acted like it was my fault. They squeezed me in, but it took long and they never reset my maintenance light.

I’ve been pricing out tires for quite awhile and fletchers was the cheapest by about $ 400 including installation. Ordered the tires Friday morning and by Saturday afternoon I already had them installed. Awesome place!

Wow! I have to give them 5 stars because they gave me a really great deal. They were going to charge me $ 10 for replacing some screws on my fender, but they waived the fee! When I told my family, they were pretty adamant about calling the business back and paying the money, so Fletcher’s might’ve gotten it after all. But, needless to say, I was happy and grateful. Also, I was pleasantly surprised at the wait time. When I pulled up there were quite a few cars already there so I thought it would take all day. I was probably waiting for less than half an hour. I will definitely go back there if I have any serious car trouble.

I had a great experience with my purchase of tires; I’ve never been here for general maintenance or repairs, though, so can’t comment on those other services.
I had researched different types of tires for my vehicle. Once I chose my tire, I shopped around the Valley for pricing. Fletcher’s total price with tax and installation of 4 new tires beat all others by about $ 100. I did everything on their website — submitted my order, scheduled my appointment time, etc.
The installation was quick and easy — I just hung out in their lobby and used their WiFi. I would definitely recommend this place for new tire purchases.

Stopped in today 45 mins before closing. I explained to the guy at the front that my truck overheated and I had no power steering. He said they couldn’t do the work today but he was very helpful and came out to the parking lot and took a look at it for me. When he saw that a belt had broken off he said let’s see if we can get this fixed tonight. He was out of the parts, but he had them run over, he agreed to replace the belt and another broken part and test the engine to make sure overheating didn’t cause any further damage. The repair took three guys about 45 minutes after closing to finish.
Earlier when I was quoted $ 300 for the repair, I explained I had $ 245 cash on me, and no other way to pay. The manager came over and said get this guy taken care of, it’s Christmas, we will worry about the rest of the money on Monday. So when I went to pay for my bill, it came out to $ 243. I noticed the manager put a $ 55 discount and said Merry Christmas next to it on the bill. That really made my day and I was not expecting it!
So I am leaving this review because I feel the service was exceptional for them to stay an extra 45 minutes for me. And then the $ 55 Merry Christmas discount was just icing on the cake! Highly recommended!

What’s the point of making an appointment if it takes 2 hours to do an oil change? What’s the point of offering a group-​on if you’re «required» add-​ons bring the price right back to where to would have been without a groupon. Ridiculous. Never going back to this garbage dump.

Had my brakes serviced. They did a great job. Bought a groupon for a brakes package, which I was a little skeptical about. Worried about hidden charges, upgrade charges, and all those little things that «need to be replaced» on my car; the old bait and switch. There was none of that! I got exactly what I came in there for! Fixed my brakes and honored my groupon 100%. Small upcharge since I had a truck, but that was clearly stated on the groupon. Steve and John were very helpful.
They usually have a long wait, even when I go here for just an oil change. But I’ve decided that it is what it is, and since I work close by, I just drop off my car at 8am before I go to work and pick it up on my lunch break. Definitely recommend an appointment. It’s very difficulty to get in on the same day for any service.

I have gone to the Fletchers in Scottsdale on 90^th as well as the one in Peoria on Lake Pleasant Dr for years with two vehicles. They have always been up front and honest with me. Prices have always been reasonable. True, you wait a long time for an oil change so we just drop it off– but that is because they get so busy with everyone wanting to change their oil on a Saturday. I had one AC repair that needed to be fixed a second time. They fixed it right and there was no charge for the return trip. Stuff happens, not everything goes perfect. We once took our Jeep to the dealership for a repair and they cracked the radiator in the process, so it happens everywhere.
Anyway, I only go to Fletchers. They have never tried to scam me or pressure me into a service I didnt need. The day they stop being honest, I wont go back. But that day has yet to come.
On a side note, I notice some of these negative reviews are from years ago before I went to the Scottsdale location so maybe management changed. Some of these reviews aren’t even for the Scottsdale location! If you have a bad review, how about putting that under the correct store.

Had an appointment, still took longer than they said and the list of needed repairs was unbelievable. I asked them to itemize them for my husband to look over. Went in for prepaid oil change. Paid $ 52.00 will go anywhere else next time. They charged $ 20 for two light bulbs. I don’t know a lot about cars but I can replace light bulbs and auto zone has never charged that much for two. If they think they are getting more money from me they are crazy. Not even willing to go back for the rest of the pre paid oil changes.

Not quite sure what happened here. Everyone was nice and they let me see under my car when it was on the lift. They agreed to order my tires and do an alignment and would call me around noon today when the truck arrived. I never got the call, so they lost my business. They also said I needed more things than I really did need, but dishonest auto places are a dime a dozen. Either way, none of my cash ever went into their register.

Update from last review. Just found out today after having my car checked out at the dealer that Fletchers installed my head-​gasket incorrectly, it is leaking oil from the engine seam.

There are too many good tire stores to ever go here. 4+ hours for an oil change. They will give you several free oil changes to buy a set of tires but you can’t schedule it and you are at their mercy. Employees standing and talking while you wait. Hate this service! Seriously, you don’t need to go here.

I too have had a nightmare experience with another Fletcher tire in Chandler.
They broke something on my car, said they don’t have the know how to fix it, and then made a bunch of dumb excuses as to why it wasn’t their fault.
The excuses they used made it obvious that they don’t have the slightest clue about how a car works mechanically.
Talking to their management does nothing.
I highly reccomend that you find somewhere else to go. The company is a shambles from the top down.
