Sun Devil Auto provides service and reasonable pricing. The service manager Matt and Jose are very professional and courteous. I completely trust these guys for my auto service needs.

I could not have asked for better service than what I received at Sun Devil Auto last week! I needed my passenger side mirror replaced after some dingbat knocked it off without leaving so much as a note. Matt was so kind, understanding, and eager to help. The whole staff was professional and friendly, and immediately made me feel comfortable leaving my car with them. They even gave me a ride back to work when I dropped my car off! The service was quick and easy, Matt explained my options and their pricing was more than fair. I trusted them so much that I even had them work on a dent that I’ve neglected to get fixed for about five years. I won’t go anywhere else after this, thank you guys so much!

I’ve never trusted mechanics… until now. Matt, David and the rest of the team at this location have been a god sent. They don’t fix what doesn’t require repair, and they stand behind their work. Their work is so thorough, that I’ve referred others to them. They love this Sun Devil also.

Went to Pep Boys on East Bell Road. Didn’t get the feeling that they wanted to help. Left there a little miffed. Checked Unilocal and made some calls. Was referred to Sun Devil by Matt at Midas on 90^th (honest) because they didn’t have correct equipment for my RV. Called Sun Devil. Jose and crew were friendly, knowledgeable, honest, caring, and, just plain nice! Thank you!

Ya know how you have «your» service providers – like your hair dresser and your dentist – and you feel good about them and trust them and it’s just comfortable and right and you’re grateful that you have them and you never want to (or have to) go anywhere else? That’s what I found today in Sun Devil Auto and store manager Matt Smith. AMEN!
I’m relatively new to the area – and a single woman with limited car knowledge but dedicated to preventative maintenance like oil changes and tire rotations. My Honda CR-​V has more than 140,000 miles on it and I intend to drive it until it drops.
This morning I went to a well-​known quick-​lube oil change franchise; I didn’t have an awful experience there but I left feeling like I spent too much money and a little taken advantage of. Worse, they weren’t able to replace my headlight and they warned me that my brake fluid was low and I should have my brakes checked. Ugh. I was getting overwhelmed … I just had the battery replaced a month ago at one place, had my tires rotated at another place, was at a third place now for an oil change … now I needed to find a place that works on brakes?! And WHO the heck was going to replace my headlight bulb?! I was resigning myself to the idea that I’d have to just go to the dealership and take my lickings, particularly irritating because I recognized that I just DIDN’T KNOW how else to get this stuff taken care of.
I went to my next errand forlorn and fretting to my best friend about feeling helpless and the inconvenience of having to chase these things down. As I pulled into my parking space at the grocery store, there right in front of me, filling my windshield as if a sign from God: SUN DEVIL AUTO. Alright, I thought, I’ll go talk to them and hope I don’t burst into tears in exasperation.
Oh my gosh. MIRACLES! Matt Smith was SO respectful and kind and patient … he offered to change my headlight bulb right there on the spot and only charged me for the bulb! I would give anything to return my $ 75 oil change experience from the morning for their $ 17.99 oil change! And had I known about this place when I first moved here, they could have taken care of my battery, my tire rotation – even replacing my oil pan (which was damaged irreparably when that well-​known, quick-​lube oil-​change franchise replaced my pan plug with one too large and stripped the threads … $ 700+). Matt even checked my brakes for me and told me not to worry, all was well.
I can hardly express the relief and peace of mind in finding ONE auto care location for ALL my auto maintenance needs. I don’t WANT to have to spend money on my car, but the truth is, I look forward to going back and will never again go anywhere else for an oil change or anything else!

Great experience and Jose was awesome. I had a noise coming from my front breaks and jerking motion that came when I put the truck into gear. Turns out the break pads had a crack and a rear control torque arm needed to be replaced. Price was very reasonable, the work was done professionally and quickly. I will bring my truck here in the future.

I had a great experience. I just walked in for a standard oil change with no appointment and they were done in 30 minutes. Great customer service from Matt and I will definitely be coming for any auto needs.

I have been taking my 3 cars to this location for years. They have always done a good job at decent prices. Today I brought one of my cars in because I was hearing some grinding noises when I brake. Turns out it was a caliper bolt that came loose. The re-​threaded and re-​installed the bolt and the brakes now work silently again. I assumed it would be a $ 50 tab for the work, instead I was given a bill of $ 0. I call that service! They have always been very friendly and have always been very informative about any issues with your vehicles.

Fixed my brake light bulb in less than 10 minutes and didn’t charge me a penny. Great customer service that will make me a repeat customer!

To start, this is the one on flw and 101. I wish there were more stars to give Sun Devil Auto. I’m a single girl with no husband, no father living here in Az, so I was nervous taking my car to a mechanic. I’ve been ripped off before. This place is FANTASTIC! Steve the manager is so professional and very kind. He just makes you feel at ease in these stressful car trouble times. They actually did not charge me twice for certain problems. Once a hose was just coming off, they fixed it for free, another time my bumper was loose and the put some bolts in it to hold it together, just as a courtesy. They are HONEST AND VERY KNOWLEDGABLE. Sun Devil Auto gets it right the first time too. I will be a loyal customer forever. I’m telling my neighbors and friends to come here too. Thank you so much Steve and the shop guys for really being so awesome and considerate, it’s greatly appreciated!

This is the second time I’ve elected to try Sun Devil Auto on San Victor, and will definitely return.
Although my 2013 Fusion is only 25 months old, the battery was almost dead on the morning of New Years Eve. Fortunately, there was enough power remaining to barely start the car, so I called Sun Devil from my car to ask for a new battery.
Jose and crew didn’t have my battery in stock, so they had a new battery delivered while I drove to their location, and installed the battery. Sixty minutes from phone call to new battery. AND the battery is a 5 year, no pro-​rated guarantee AC Delco — solid product and installed at a fair price.
I sincerely appreciated the quick-​turn with a quality battery!

Free tire rotation with oil change. Fair prices and use OE parts. Called Friday afternoon for a Saturday morning appointment and got the time I wanted. I’ll be back!

I have been getting service from dealers. I tried Sun Devil. A terrific option nearby that lets you track your service record on line and has access to your auto manufacturer’s recommended maintenance schedule.

Went here for an oil change. Able to get an appointment the next day. Andrew was very helpful and friendly. There was no up-​selling or any other attempts of selling unwanted or unnecessary services that I usually get from other auto shops. Great price on the oil change with coupon. Will definitely be coming back here for future services. Thanks! Andrew is the man!

I was always accustomed to taking my car to the dealer for service. In an effort to save time and money I thought I’d give Sun Devil Auto a chance. And boy, am I glad I did! Andrew is a true professional in every sense of the word. Their work is always done on time, within budget, and done right the first time. I can’t see any reason to ever go back to the dealer again.
