The Real Seal did an excellent job waterproofing my basement! They also upon completion of the job cleaned up the job site better then it was before! I would highly recommend this company, they were professional and prompt. Keep in mind it does take them like a week or two after the estimate to complete work because they are so busy, but they do quality work!

Got a sump-​pump replaced using a Angie’s List coupon which was extremely competitive in price. They were easy to schedule with and the guys that came were very polite and quick with the work along with showing me what was wrong. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Great guys. Came in and have us quotes for our issues and didn’t make it about doing stuff we don’t need. They are going to build us window wells and fix a small leak in our basement wall. Very worthwhile calling them.

I worked with Austin Werner at Real Seal to get some basement sump pump work done. He came out initially and gave me a quote and different options for my basement sump pump. He was very knowledgeable and gave pros and cons of different options. The quote was priced very fairly. They were able to get us on the schedule quickly. On the day of the install, the Real Seal technician called me the morning to let me know what time they would be here. The job was done very professionally and they answered all my questions. They cleaned up after the install.

I had an unbelievably bad experience with a different waterproofing contractor who tried using high-​pressure, scare sales tactics to twist my arm into a $ 19,000 solution. Needless to say, I was anxious. The Real Seal was awesome. 100% opposite of my previous experience. They’re knowledgeable, honest and awesome! I haven’t had the work done yet, so I can’t comment on that yet, but with how they handle the rest of their business (and the other reviews) I’m sure I’ll be satisfied. I’d highly recommend!

The great reviews are 1000% spot-​on. I called yesterday and scheduled an estimate. Amanda, who I spoke with to schedule it, was super polite and professional. It sounded like they were a bit booked up for the next day (which happens to be today) but she was going to call me back and see if she could fit me in. She called me right back, not even five minutes later, and scheduled the estimate. That’s a win right there, when the person answering phones and scheduling appointments for your company goes above and beyond for a potential customer.
So today rolls around and Joel showed up right on time. I walked him around my house and showed him where water was seeping through into my basement, which they call «over the top» seepage. Then showed him my window wells, which honestly looked a bit old to me. I figured he’d suggest that I replace them, but told me nope that they were just fine. Win number 2– honesty.
We then walked into the basement where I told him a sump pump problem that had happened and proceeded to ask him a myriad of other questions about my basement and leakage problems. Which, it turns out I really don’t have many problems. He was honest and suggested that I could prevent future problems with some simple landscaping and have the dirt graded away from my house and to clean my gutters out. Simple enough and he didn’t charge me for ANYTHING!
Win number 3– consultation.

These guys were great from the moment We made initial contact. We recently closed on a new house and found some moderate seepage. Ben stopped by within a day to inspect and provide estimate. He was extremely professional and bent over backwards to inspect our entire sub basement, including the dirty crawl space. It turns out, we had one crack to repair and cost was much lower than expected. If your looking for excellent customer service, honest and reliable seepage repair, look no further. The Real Seal will not disappoint.

Everything about my experience with this company was 5 STAR SERVICE! When I called to make my appointment 2 days ago, the rep was friendly and helpful. I immediately received an email confirmation of the appointment, which included an explanation of what to expect and the name of the specialist (Joel F.) that would come to my home.
Today, Joel showed up with a friendly and professional demeanor. He listened attentively to all the information I offered about what was going on and inspected the problem area thoroughly. When he inspected the outside of our home (it’s below freezing out today), I stayed inside with my 18 month old, and he returned with pictures of what he’d observed and offered explanations of his assessment. After his inspection of our foundation, he explained that we had a «good news, bad news» situation. Good news… our foundation was in great shape. Bad news, we have a landscaping issue causing the water leakage. He went on to say that we don’t need foundation work, and instead recommended that we contact a landscaping company to redirect the water away from he house (which is apparently coming over our intact foundation in certain places). Given what Real Seal specializes in… our problem was simply not in their line of business.
Joel didn’t try to sell me. He wasn’t pushy or exaggerate his assessment to get our business, or offer to do work that was outside of their area of specialty. He was efficient with our time, respectful of our home, and answered all my questions. While I’m glad we don’t need to fix the foundation, I’m a little disappointed that we won’t get to work with Real Seal to resolve the matter. I have no doubt that it would have been an excellent level of service and quality of work. However, I will definitely be keeping Joel’s card if we discover any other waterproofing needs moving forward and will absolutely recommend him to anyone looking to waterproof their basement/​waterproof their home.

Fantastic experience all around. Joel was able to come out on short notice, and he arrived promptly. He surveyed our situation and, though he probably could have told me I needed a thousand dollars worth of repairs, he told me there really was no problem. That kind of honesty was much appreciated, and I’ll definitely go with this company if I ever need foundation work in the future.

Had a crack in the basement. Had two other companies come out and they gave us ridiculous estimates, saying all sorts of additional work needed to be done. The Real Seal was the third company I called. They sent someone out in two hours to give an estimate. Quoted me a very fair price to just fix the one crack that was giving us the problem. The next day they sent someone out and the crack was filled in about an hour. Haven’t had a leaking issue since. Two thumbs up for these guys. No monkey business, no upselling.

Great service, very attentive and knowledgeable staff, fast and reliable. When we got our estimate, the guy could have tried to sell me a drain tile system, which was way more expensive than just having the crawl lined. But instead he explained that his inspection of our moisture issues showed we didn’t need that. Really appreciate that he didn’t try to sell me something I didn’t need just make some extra $. Also really appreciated he explained the options in detail. We ended up spending less than half of what other companies quoted us. When we finally got the crawl lined a couple weeks later, were very happy with the results. Would recommend this company to anyone who is having moisture issues.

Was recommended Real Seal by a friend. I was actually looking at one of the bigger well known companies. Glad i had Real Seal come out an give a free estimate. A few days later the technician came out and plugged the crack in less than an hour. All done?

With all of the shady contractors I’ve come across it’s important to point out an affordable and professional service and this is one of them. We had some seepage in a section of our basement for awhile and had an estimate done by a company quite awhile ago. They told us that in order to fix the problem the neighbor’s sidewalk in between the houses would have to be ripped up (yes you read that right). Recently I was searching for another estimate and was fortunate enough to come across The Real Seal. The leak was found at the time of the estimate and within a week or so these guys came out and it hasn’t leaked since. Great service and great people!

This is an amazing company and would highly recommend them to anyone. My fiancé and I brought a house with seepage issues that we were not aware about untill after we closed. Out of all the waterproofing companies that we called the Real Seal was not only the best price but the most honest. They clearly explained our problem and advised us on our options. The crew that they sent out to do the work was hardworking and curtious. The owner took lots of pictures to show me the work that they did and personally called me after the job was done to see if i was satified. I would recommend them to anyone who has seapage issues!

Another fantastic experience with The Real Seal! We decided to upgrade our sump pump system by adding a second pump with battery backup, and replace the check valve with a quieter version on our original pump. They honored their original estimate, scheduled promptly, and completely the work with a thorough explanation of what was done and how the new equipment works. the workmen were friendly, and were quiet as mice when I told them my baby was napping! They even removed their shoes before walking on our hardwood floors. Couldn’t be happier with our experiences with this company! (Oh, and our foundation crack that they repaired has had NO issues whatsoever!) don’t hesitate to give them a shot! I’m so glad we did!

These guys ROCK! Talk about doing a great job. I found them on YouTube completely on accident by watching their «how to» video. These guys make it look easy. It’s not easy at all. I will definitely be back for any future work I need done. Professional and informative is how I would describe them. Plus, they cleaned up after themselves. Two thumbs up!
