Action Ozone was started after identifying a need for reform in the mold and indoor air quality industry. There is widespread belief that mold is the demon that will kill adults and children and turn buildings into toothpicks in short order. Promoting and playing on this common belief, many mold remediation companies and cleaning industry standards companies insist upon mold remediation protocols that involve a great deal of unnecessary and extremely expensive procedures.

Mike Larmon was a 20 year public safety official serving as a police officer full time and a firefighter part time. With a great passion for treating people right, and a desire to own his own business, Mike Launched Action Ozone in 2007. Understanding the need to provide a safe, effective, and affordable mold, bacteria and odor removal, Mike invested a great deal of time and money investigating existing, cutting edge, products that eliminate the need for expensive and cumbersome «traditional» mold remediation. Satisfied and impressed with proven technology as well as the implementation of the products by other successful companies around the nation, Action Ozone was formed and brought the new revolution against indoor pollution to the the greater Chicago area and surrounding states.
