Established in 2009.

In 2009 I decided to start my own Garage Door and Garage Door Opener Company. I sell them, I install them, I service and repair them. Jack of all trades I’m not, but Garage door guy I am!

I have 15 years experience in both residential and commercial garage doors and garage door openers. I started my own company because I think that the customer should be taken care of like I would like to be taken care of, and I was not seeing that happen.

My business philosophies are simple and I guarantee them:

I have lived in the Fox Valley/​Elgin, IL area all of my life. I love the people and the towns of the Fox River Valley.

I have 15 years experience in the garage door and opener industry. I have retired from the Army National Guard as a Master Sergeant after 21 years.

I am a Lifetime member of the Elgin VFW, and also an active member of a the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association (an organization of veterans who help other veterans).

I am also a Cubs and a Bears Fan.

Came out gave precise estimate… Scheduled right away. Although the old door was never properly installed. The installer «Ray» did a very good job and cleaned up all the debris! Was polite and courteous

Great Customer Service. They installed a new garage door operator, key pads, and set me up on Liftmaster my Q so i can remotely open and close my door from my phone. They did a nice neat job and when they were done you couldn’t even tell any work had been done. I highly recommend them for all garage door needs. We will definitely be using them again for are future garage door needs.

Absolutely fantastic service!!! From my initial phone call, scheduling a late in the day, to having the right parts on the truck and even adding a keypad last minute these guys are good. Before calling them I looked up the replacement parts at the local big box store, I figured I’d get an estimate. it was within 35 bucks. In addition to fixing what was broke Paul lubricated both doors and did basic preventive maintenance on both doors. Bottom line, great local business, great service, great prices. I am an avid do-​it-​yourselfer, Paul had no problem with me asking question and explained everything he did and why. His patience was appreciated. Thanks again Paul!

These guys are great. Paul came very quickly after I notified my complex there was an issue with my garage. Each step of the way he explained what and why he was doing what he was doing. Even though it was blistering cold, he was a businessman and a gentleman. He and the individual who he was training were both very pleasant.

At 7:00 am I got a call from my tenant who decided to back out of the garage before the door was completely up. Yep, you guessed it, a real mess. After seeing the damage I called Next Door Inc. in the hopes that they could repair it. That afternoon when I got to the unit Paul had already done 80% of the work. I was stunned. Here I thought that the door would need replacing but he said, «you got lucky» the repair was nominal. Well I might have gotten lucky that the damage wasn’t as bad as I thought, but I got extremely lucky to have found this company. I couldn’t believe how fast and efficient he was. The price was more than fair and in less than a half hour I was on my way. I was so thrilled with the outcome that I had to write so that others would have the same. Thanks Paul.

Top notch customer service and installation! Bill from Next Door just finished installing my new opener and I am very satisfied. I had several questions and first Lena and then Paul (the owner) worked with me to make sure I understood what was needed, what everything was going to cost and when everything would be done. They are slightly higher priced then big box retailers, but I believe that you get what you pay for — and I am very happy I paid a bit more to have Next Door install my new opener.
I especially appreciated the attention to detail that Bill showed during installation; he oiled every single hinge on my garage door! With the new belt drive opener and the work that Bill did you can hardly hear the garage door going up and down. I would not hesitate to recommend Next Door for any garage related job you might have.
Don’t look anywhere else — call Next Door. They will take great care of you.

We called Next Door service to come and repair our unmanageable door opener. Paul responded right away and he even came out when it was convenient for us. He installed a new opener and was very professional through the whole installation process. He was very knowledgeable, worked very quickly and installed a very high quality product.
I would highly recommend his services and would use him in the future. Next Door services is a real find. Great job!!! The new opener works Awesome!!!

I was having issues with my garage door. Called and spoke with the owner. He said would be in the area in an hour and would stop by. How awesome was that.
He took a look at the door, took the time to explain what the problem was, then on top of that took the time to explain what needed to be done and with my OK went right to work.
He was a clean worker, cleaned up after and was very professional. I couldn’t have been more satisfied with the outcome of my headache.
Would I recommend this guy to someone else? DEFINITELY without hesitation.
