Private violin, viola, cello and string bass lessons. Students from age 9 or 10 through high school. Lesson taught by an Illinois certified teacher with a Master’s degree in Music Education and over 30 years experience.
History
Established in 2010.
I am a certified music teacher and recently retired from teaching middle school orchestra in River Forest. I am currently a professor of music at Roosevelt University. In addition, I teach private lessons at my home studio in Schaumburg. The first lesson is FREE.

I am a certified music teacher and recently retired from teaching middle school orchestra in River Forest. I am currently a professor of music at Roosevelt University teaching string teaching techniques.
I have my Bachelor and Master’s degree (with Honors) in Music Education from the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University in Chicago. I have also taken an additional 40 hours of post-graduate classes at VanderCook College of Music in Chicago and the University of Tennessee among others.
I studied violin with Charles Schell, Robert Gillespie and Michael Allen. I studied viola with Harold Kupper. I studied cello with Albert Van De Velde and Karl Fruh. And, I studied string bass extensively with Harold Siegal, Radi Lah, formerly of the Chicago Symphony and Stephen Lester, currently with the Chicago Symphony.
I have performed with the Chicago Civic Symphony, the Skokie Valley Symphony, and currently, the Wheaton Symphony and the Harper College Symphony.
