Action Auto Detailing

I have a 99′ Toyota Camry and they made it look like a brand new car. I highly recommend Action. I will be bringing my husband’s car next.

Warning! Don’t go there!!! They did a lousy job. Look like they sent my car through the car wash. Inside of my tires were dirty. The one guy yelled at me. I can do a much better and and im a woman. They are all liars and phonies. That place should not be operating. False advertisement. Groupon needs to delete them. They running a front. Too many personal questions asked.

My car had been sitting for 4 months over the winter, it smelled of smoke and someone had been sick in it, which my husband neglected to tell me about. They gave me a price of $ 100 to clean inside which was more than fair considering the inside condition of the car. Could not be happier, car smells great and look so much better. I liked the service so much that I am having them detail the limo that i drive, which they have given me a great price on too.

I took the car in for detailing with a Groupon my wife bought. Dropped the car off at 8:30 a.m., was told that there were others ahead of mine but that it would be ready about 2:00. Went back at 2:00 and it was finished… looked and smelled like new! Neal was great, pointed out some scratches on the exterior, which I already knew about. They did as good a job as places I’ve used at twice the cost!

These guys are awesome. They did perform a high quality job for my Nissan Rogue 2008. With a decent price they covered a lot. The vehicle looks as a brand new, all spots just vanished. I’ll definitely take my Chevy Malibu to this place since they put that much effort on Nissan.

First off i dont write a lot of reviews, but i purchased a car detail through another coupon website. Long story short I paid $ 65 for a interior car detail and I regret even paying that. When I went to pick up the car i noticed that there were some areas that were not even wiped down, yes he did apologize but these were obvious areas that should have been cleaned. Then on my way home i noticed that my rear view mirror wasn’t even cleaned. come on really? Now here comes the kicker, the next day my aftermarket radio screen started going out, so i brought it into the place i purchased the radio because it was still under warranty. after about 4 weeks i get a call saying that the radio had water damage and that it was not covered under the warranty. this place is a joke and i would be embarrassed to be the owner of this shop. i would not recommend this place to anyone even if you got a detail for $ 65

Took advantage of the platinum detail. I am blown away by the results. I have a black Camaro and a Blue Corvette, both of which came out looking phenomenal. Definitely coming back before I store the cars for the winter. Thanks Ray.

Great service i been to many shops in the area this place does a very high quality detail more then your average detail shop they also hand wash my car once a week by appointment i dont need wait in long lines its great 5 stars keep up the good work tip tip make sure you make a appointment they’re always very busy

They didn’t take the time to wash my windows well. You could see the spots on the window that my dog licked?! It was all smudged around the edges, my mats that I put in the trunk weren’t even touched. They put the plastic ones in there and they were still damp/​wet after a 11am drop off and 5pm pick up so the clean wet mats were with the dirty ones creating a watery mud/​sandy like mixture in my trunk. I had spots on my chairs that weren’t completely removed and I could tell they didn’t care to try the small ones. The outside looked like I went through a regular car wash, there was still residue around the bottom and edges. To top it off, I just saw my rim destroyed from when they clean the inside of my tires…. I want my money back.
Tried to call them to say they have to replace my rim, and their number was out of service.

I bought the deal for a platinum cleaning (interior and exterior) through Groupon. BIGGEST MISTAKE. First of all, I dropped off my car at 8am and didn’t get it back till 3pm. So I thought if it took this long it was going to look spotless inside and out. WRONG! It literally looked like they just ran my car through a normal car wash and vacuumed/​shampooed whatever they could see inside the car. They didn’t clean the trunk or the leaves/​dirt in the opening cracks till I pointed that out to them. And the guy said «oh they must have not opened the trunk, I’ll get that cleaned for you.» Which should have been done without me telling them. He offered some sort of deal for a future cleaning who wants to go back after what I experienced??? I would never go back there again! Once I got home I was just checking in between the seats of the driver and passenger sides and i could see they didn’t even bother to vacuum in between that. Just an FYI my car was pretty clean before handing it to them so it was very disappointing to see no detailing done right. They even stole my snow cleaner brush/​scraper! Moral of my review, please don’t bother getting a detail cleaning done here and save your money.

The team at Action Auto Detailing did an awesome job with my 2012 Hyundai Elantra!!! I am glad I took it to Action Auto, the price was great, the customer service was great and the work was impeccable. I am looking to take my Tucson now since they did such an excellent job.

The team at Action Auto Detailing did a great job with my 2007 Ford Expedition! I had never had my car detailed, so I am sure that it was a challenge for them. Ray and his guys did a fantastic job in cleaning the interior of my car… even the nooks and crannies were spotless. They also detailed the exterior, including buffing out some scuffs and scratches in the finish. They got out scuff marks that I had not imagined could be removed.

I was not impressed. The detailing was supposed to include floor mat shampooing. The floor mats were vacuumed only and left in the back. I ended up washing them myself. There were two spots on the rear hatch that were lightly scratched from a bike rack and their «polishing» didn’t remove them — 5 minutes with my orbital polisher and they were gone. They didn’t even pop the hood because under the hood was covered in dirt after their detailing. They didn’t even clean the edges of the rear hatch. It was a very expensive car wash and interior vacuuming in my opinion. The only good thing out of it all was that the wheels and the tires were clean. I would not go back there again.

Found a groupon with this place to get my car interior detailed. They did an awesome job! I had horrible stains on my seats from bike tires and afterwards my seats looked brand new. I would definitely recommend this place for a car detailing. I’ll be back after the mess winter has on my car for another interior detail.

Bought exterior/​interior platinum detail from groupon for $ 150($ 300 value). Interior was vacuumed and wiped down, nothing special. Exterior was given shiny tires. Thanks for that! Rest of exterior was horrible. Service was horrible. Started with the line that it would be done in 3 to 6 hours. After 7.5 hours called every 5 minutes for an hour before someone would pick up the phone (voicemail was full so you just felt like someone hijacked your car, no way to contact shop until they feel like calling you). Trying to figure out how to add pictures but honestly, my rodeo looked worse than when it went in. Had to take it to carwash twice to get all the white residue off vehicle that was everywhere. And other than the tires no exterior rubber or black plastic got so much as Armor All put on let alone a quality conditioner/​blackener. Paid for premium detail and when handed in keys saw my name on clipboard time with no mention of what package they were to do to vehicle. I can only assume they just did what they felt like that day. Which was vacuum and half ass wipe down interior.

If you plan on buying a groupon for this place save your money find somewhere else. I bought a groupon for Action auto and i decided to look at reviews on here and as I was looking at all of the reviews for this place on Unilocal I was skeptical about them. I didnt know wheater to look at the good or the bad. I decided that i might as well go here as i had already bought the groupon. So i started the process by calling to make an appointment and of course like everyone else says they never answer the phone unless they are in front for some reason. I finally got ahold of them after trying 5 times in the afternoon and 5 times the next day. They found an appointment for me to take in my 97 Chevy Blazer. She was pretty dirty and had some stickers from the previous owner on it that i wanted to get removed. I dropped it off at 8am on a friday (a bit late since the traffic was bad) and they took my groupon and i left the keys and went home. I got a call at about 3:50 saying my truck was ready. As you would think i was excited to see how it turned out. I got there and looked at my truck and was dissatisfied. There was still dirt on it as well as the stickers i had asked to get removed. I walked in and no one was there i walked around to the side and saw there were people there and asked what happened and the guy said ok we can get the stickers of but for the condition your car is in it would take an extra $ 100 to clean. I told him no we were not going to pay that so they took it back and took of the stickers and «cleaned» the dirt i found. When i got it back there was still dirt and the heat thing they use to get stickers off melted my car. I left furious. About a block away i noticed that my floor mats were missing. I turned around and asked about them. The guy walked back and told me he would check in the back but they were probably in my car. He showed my not one, not two, but 3 different sets of mats. Then he went out and was going to open my trunk. Not only that but they didnt know or ask how to open my trunk. There is a button on the back that isnt for the trunk. Its just there it doesnt do anything. They were using that to try to open the top of the trunk. The button to open it is on the inside of the car near the steering wheel. The guy was pounding on the button and now it did something to the back of my truck that i cant even open the back with the button on the inside of my truck. It now will just pop open while im driving. So after he slammed on it for a while i was done with him doing that, getting frustrated i opened the back door and looked into the trunk and didnt see them. He then went back into the shop after i explained what mats i had he came out with 2 back mats and 2 other ones i had but in all i had 5 mats in my car and only was returned 4, after i told him multiple times that i had 5. I just took the 4 mats and left i was fed up. I got home and saw dirt on the car still that i wiped off with a wet paper towel. I will not be returning ever again save your money and find something better.

Got a groupon and tried these guys out. Took about 8 hrs and I didn’t see any difference from when I got the car in and when I was picking it up. Worst detailing service ever. Save your money and go get your car detailed at a fullers car wash or something.

I got a Groupon to this place and paid 20% below the Groupon price because of a discount going on. I needed an interior detail for my SUV which was filthy after 4 years of food, snow, dirt and trash being thrown. It’s been raining a lot so I delayed my trip there, but the deadline was approaching and I could go only on a Saturday. The owner did not have any slots but he offered to take my groupon right away and give me a slot in 2 weeks which I accepted. When I got there, he grumbled that I was a bit late (20 mins). So I was, but grumbling to a customer is not a good way to do business. He asked me to come back in 4 hours.
He called me when he was done and I came to pick up. The job was superb. The carpets and seats and the interiors were clean. I recommend the place highly. I will go there again for an exterior detailing. Get the groupon.

Update:
Today (1÷12÷16) these guys tried to have my pictures of their detail removed. Again stating they did not do the detail and that I’m a competitor. I have included the pictures again AND I am including one of the two groupons I purchased which also show the date they were used. Try to rebut that. See my pics above and judge their work for yourself. Do you want these guys detailing your car? You can see other reviews w/​the exact same experience so maybe it’s a ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ chance at semi-​decent work.

I saw a Groupon for these guys so I figured I’d give them a try as they are close to me. Things didn’t start off too well. When entering nobody was up front so I waited for about 5 minutes. After waiting I walked back into the detail area to locate someone. I left them the key and my phone number and left. After not hearing anything for two days I called 3 times and left a VM stating I needed info on my car and needed to pick it up before they closed on Friday. I never did get a reply. My wife finally got a hold of them and they confirmed the number and stated they’ve been trying to call for two days (Not likely). They stated they were leaving early so I was basically forced to have them leave the key in the car and to pick it up sight unseen. I really wish I could post the pictures of the outcome of this detail but it appears I cannot on google reviews. I didn’t look very hard but I saw white stains on the passenger seat and the passenger door panel which I was able to scrub off w/​water. The passenger sill plate and rocker were dirty enough to turn my finger black when I ran it over them. The front bumper is still full of bug splatter as well as other dirt. The chrome trim has water spots on it and the cowl still has a ton of leaves in the wiper area. The panoramic sunroof has marking all over it. I didn’t even bother looking on the passenger side body or the rear as I had already seen enough. Consider this when considering using this company, I would not recommend them. I actually called Groupon to have my second detail with these guys refunded.

So you’re going to tell me that on July 2^nd you did not have a 2013 Kia Optima scheduled that you detailed? The defensive stand you take says a lot about the integrity of you and your company. You’ve done more harm getting caught in an out and out lie than you would have just keeping your mouth shut here. To prove that this is in fact the company however I will show the Groupon and its date of redemption as proof that I did have this car detailed there.
You, I and every potential customer know that you certainly know exactly what cars were in and out of your shop and on what day so trying to circumvent the truth with «it wasn’t us» certainly isn’t going to fly.
the more reason for the customer to be aware of this company and their integrity. Was it still not your company that detailed my car or did I fabricated the groupon, the pictures and this story?

The detail I received was rushed and the result was extremely disappointing. My car had areas that had not been cleaned at all, which included the windows, center console and my trunk. They cleaned my mats and placed them in my trunk soaking wet! If I hadn’t asked where my mates were, they would’ve stayed in there and mildewed.
The business also never answers their phone and their voicemail is full, so you can’t even leave a message. When I was finally able to get ahold of them to book an appointment, they told me to bring the car in to be serviced on Memorial Day. I thought it was nice that they were open that day, but I was wrong. I called them the night before to make sure we were all set to go and they informed me that they were closed the day I was supposed to come in! What if I hadn’t called? Where was the disconnect? Why had they scheduled me for a day they were closed? SO FRUSTRATING! I was asked to reschedule and they never even apologized for THEIR mistake. A terrible deal for $ 70 and they really should’ve done something to accommodate the all trouble they caused me and for the poor job they provided.

These guys did an amazing job! They were willing to stay after hours if I wanted to drop my car off the night before my appointment. They did an excellent job with the interior and exterior cleaning of my Honda Pilot. It was so amazing that I took it in to an auto body shop the next day for another service that I was having done and the employees there were asking me where I had my detailing done at because it was incredible! The only thing I would recommend is to get a receptionist since the guys are busy working on cars.

I brought my Dodge Durango in today for a detailing. I was quoted 4 hours and it was done in 4 hours. (Very appreciated!) The truck looks and smells brand new. They did beyond a great job. I would highly recommend them and I myself will be back.

FIRST AND FORE MOST this is CLEARLY a independent family owned shop. There is no chain, no corporate line or anything so if you’re expecting to walk into a immaculate shop, don’t get too excited. However, do not let the look of this place detour your business either.
I am a huge supporter of locally owned businesses and will go out of my way to give them my business over a chain or cooperation. Even if it’s a 40 minute drive.
I took my car here Monday AM at about 1030. There was no one up front and no one answered the phone so I walked around back and yelled hello. No answer. I pulled my car around to the bays and knocked on the bay door and was greeted by a friendly younger guy in a black hoodie. I was kind of irritated (as you can see from other reviews, no one up front and not all phone calls are answered) so it was nice to have him be so friendly and welcoming. I asked specifically for my clutch pedal to get some lovin’ because it tends to get skipped in the process of an interior detailing. They set up my car, and offered to give me a ride. I actually just walked across the street to the Village Tavern and Grill (go check it out, you wont be disappointed). At 12pm I gave them a call to check on the car, no answer. So I finished my coffee and headed back to the shop (I was quoted two hours for the detailing). I got back to the shop and Ray (the owner) let me know it would only be 15 or 30 minutes more. Not a worry. He helped me leave a tip on a card for the guys since I didn’t have cash, and I was able to leave right around 1pm.
My car looks, and smells awesome. I am VERY happy with the cleaning and the price I paid for it and would bring my car, my husbands car, and family/​friends cars back here again! See photos on this review for how my car turned out!
Some pointers to help keep business flowing for Action Audio and Detail would be to have a phone in the back of the shop where the guys can answer if no one is up front. Maybe have a rule that all calls before 2pm must be returned the day of; or something, there has to be a better way than letting it go to voice mail. Imagine how much business you miss because you couldn’t get to the phone on time? If I had been calling and didn’t have a group on I would have skipped right over because my calls were not answered in a timely fashion. I know you have a bell that dings when the door opens too. I sat in the lobby with no one coming up front to see if I needed anything for some time, and I think that would also detour business too. If someone in the shop was able to hear the ding and greet the guest to see if anything was needed, I think it would go a long long way and your future and returning customers would feel well taken care of.
I’m more than happy to give this place another call when spring rolls around so I can get my car waxed up for the summer :) Thanks again!

I bought a groupon for $ 79 interior detailing. The groupon said they required an appointment and 24 hours notice. I called and got voicemail, so left a message on Saturday. Having not received a call back I called them again on the following Wednesday to try and schedule as I am selling my car this Sunday. I again got the voice mail and left another (somewhat perturbed) message that I needed to get my car in ASAP and they were not returning my call. A few minutes later I received a phone call, but the day I wanted to schedule for (this coming Saturday) was now booked. My only option was to bring my car in the next day at 9am — which made my life very difficult trying to work around my work schedule. So, strike number one.
I arrived at 8am (having to go in late to work) and the sign on the door said they were open 8 – 6, but nobody was there. I had to leave the keys in the gas tank and the groupon info above the steering wheel. I called again to leave a message that my car was there and waiting (nobody answers the phone at this business, ever.) Strike two.
My main concerns were some staining on the seats (which I had partially removed myself but were still visible) and hair in the back from my miniature husky. I had just cleaned my dash and cup holder areas a week and a half ago, so my car wasn’t filthy or anything. There were a few personal items they had to move out of the way, which they left in a bag in my trunk. Positives: They did a fantastic job with the vacuum, the floors are immaculate. They also did a great job getting in the crevices of the middle console and the cup holders — those parts of my car look brand new. They aired up my tires, which I don’t think was included but was very much appreciated. Negatives: there were areas around the seats where dust had collected that went untouched. There were still visible stains on the seats (which seemed like they’d come out easily, to me). And the hair above the back seats where my dog likes to lay had also not been touched. I went back there and pulled out clumps of white hair.
All in all, I don’t feel I had a great experience with this company. They were hard to reach or talk to, hard to schedule with, and only did 75% of the job. If I’d paid full price I probably would have gone back and asked them to finish.

I had never been here until I found a Groupon and figured I’d give it a shot — they did a PHENOMENAL job cleaning up the car so it looks brand new. Even the smoke smell is gone, and the scuff marks from the glovebox are gone. They moved everything and cleaned every piece of that car. He even washed down the outside for me. The gentleman said it would take 3 – 4 hours and had it done in less than 3. Much appreciated! (If you’re waiting for your car, The Village restaurant next door is great, there is also a place within walking distance to get your nails done!)

I was truly impressed by the detailing work this business did on my car.
They went «over and above» what was expected and made it look like new again! My plan is to sell this car and their work made it worth a higher asking price. THANK YOU!

Ray the owner at Action put tints in my brand new Kia Optima SXL and did an awesome job! I am very particular about my cars and was concerned because it’s a brand new car and I don’t like scratches! Not only did he do a flawless job on the tints but he refused to give me the car back until it was completely washed and cleaned to perfection. The biggest thing was his honesty and willingness to crush the quoted price I received from a competitor down the street! Thank you for your honesty, attention to detail, and customer service. I am in an industry where I have the ability to refer many of my own customers to him. Guess what Ray… you will get them. Thanks again!
