Waited for ten minutes to put in an order at the counter.

Well Worth the wait.

We had a blast at this bar… It seemed to get a little more lively, and fun as the night went on. There was a live band from Nashville, that sung some of their originals as well as some old country classics. They played some pop songs amongst the country favs– if you enjoy country bars check it out. We went on a Friday– and men were required to pay a cover– and women were free but they «requested «a tip.

Lots of fun. Big place, good band, and you can ride the bull. Folks were very friendly here.

This place is pretty good. They are usually hoppin’ on Saturday nights, which is when we usually go there. Whatever your poison is, they probably got it.
They have two pool tables, and while some bars in the area have pool tables, we almost always find an open one only in Saddlebags. I don’t know, maybe it’s just dumb luck.
My one gripe about this place is the service. Would it kill some of the bar-​staff to smile at the customers once in a while. or, you know, treat them with curtesy? I understand the place is busy, but on multiple occasions, we have been ignored at the bar. Or we place our order, they take our money, and go across the bar to serve someone else or multiple other people. without a word to us, and come back to us 5+ minutes later. Not quite sure what it is about this place, but we have yet to see this kind of treatment at other Savannah bars. Maybe we just haven’t gone to too many bars in the area? I don’t know.
I’m ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ on Saddlebags. I do love the atmosphere and the vibe, however, some of the bar staff (certainly not all) need to learn how to treat paying customers.

Seems to be a neat sports bar/​night club. I stopped in with a group on a Thursday night around 9pm and we were only people in bar for an hour or so. Good points … They have a bull!!! Mechanical bull and big bar/​dance floor.

We came in July 4^th. It was fun and everything that we expected. The food was not bad for bar food at 1am. Bar service was very quick. The prices were just right. My only downfall was the table service was pathetic. If I ordered something at a table, it took an hour. I finally gave up and gave the bar my business. We will be back in here for some good country music.

Went for a bachelorette, fun low key place!

Visiting savannah and stumbled upon this bar. Ladies night $ 1 red solo cup and drink till 10. Guys Beer $ 3. Can’t beat it. Line dancing lessons awesome Throwback Thursday music is great! Id come back! Friendly staff. No cover

Place has the potential to be a great bar and music venue. Bartenders are extremely accommodating and the live music was great. Management here needs some lessons on customer service. Coming from the industry I understand it can be a frustrating environment to work in but these people have no idea what they are doing and were extremely rude to myself and the group of people we were with. I will never be a patron here again after being treated so poorly.

The bartenders were FABULOUS! We were being the tourist walking the river and walked in on Friday evening. Typcially we would have been dressed to hang at a bar but we stayed and enjoyed a great local country band and the drinks were wonderful. The guy at the door, though a CA Angels fan was nice to us even though we are die hard Texas Rangers fans. We had such a great time we stopped in our last night in town. We were greeted with a smile, yes there was a cover, but if you like country music and a bar that has more room than most in the are, this is the place to be. We had a great time and would recommend it

We love it here, hands down.

I find Saddle Bags to be very hit or miss with me. I have had good experiences here, but the nights always seem to end in drama… I’m not sure if there is some ancient Indian high school underneath it’s floorboards, exuding vibes best left at an underage party. Enter at your own risk!
For all you Southwestern transplants, do not expect to find any two stepping on this dance floor… it’s line dancing, to include hip-​hop versions like the Cupid Shuffle or the Wobble, and maybe a cowboy or two who knows how to move.
The drinks are good… I seem to recall them being fairly priced. The peach tea drink they have is delicious, but super sweet.
Now, please allow me to rant for a second. Why, in the name of all that is holy, would you charge a cover for this place? ESPECIALLY for the ladies. Gents, I know, I’m being sexist, but SRSLY?! I think females should never be charged a cover. Don’t worry, Saddle Bags, you let the ladies in for free and the fellas will come… they’re here for the gentler sex… and booze. Hopefully they’ll only have to pay for one of them… but don’t make us girls suffer! We’re bringing you income! You’ll make back my lack of cover in girly drinks… promise!

The only downfall, is it was hard to find, the staff was not accommodating to a member of our group that forgot her ID, and I hurt my knee pretty bad because the blow up ring for the bull was not working.

I went here with a group of friends this past weekend. I even wore my boots just for this club. Typically, you don’t wear boots in this town, but coming from Arizona, I can’t help it but every once in awhile. So anyway, there was a 15 minute line and 5 dollar cover?! Seriously? So bring cash.
I’m not sure what the cover is for, because the beer is the same price as anywhere else. The band was alright and there’s a cool atmosphere here. Very country and outgoing. Good place to meet people… and if you’re 3^rd ID, expect to see your coworkers here getting their country on. Sigh.
I didn’t have any problems ordering any drinks, despite the large crowd. The bartenders were working hard and had good eye contact, looking for those thirsty cowboys.
I wanted to check out the dance scene here, but my friends weren’t into that, however it looked like a busy dance floor. I’ll come back sometime to check that out.
I’m giving this place 3 stars for their 5 dollar highway robbery. I don’t expect handouts, but when I“m already paying top alcohol prices, the extra 5 bucks is a bit much, granted they are prime location and have about 5 bouncers for every customer. or so it seemed.

Great atmosphere, but don’t expect to drink a lot here. The bartenders appear to be well trained, but you could wait upwards of 15 minutes at the bar for two beers, even after placing your order. I don’t normally skimp on the tip, but the blatant ignoring I received at this place was enough to see me keeping all of my change.
However, the band was fun, the dance floor was pretty big, and the vibe was good. For a night out where you don’t want to get hammered, it’s a good choice. I’m not sure how much fun it would have been without the band.
