It was really cold outside and my boyfriend and I wanted something warm to drink after walking around Forsyth Park, so we came in here. The drinks were fine, as they typically are with Starbucks, but the floor and bathrooms were really dirty.

Cute little café in the middle of the park! We walked it and it smelled sooo good clean and fresh(someone was mopping the floors). I was looking for a light refreshing drink and saw they had Starbucks. Unfortunately they didn’t have any teas other than the black or hot teas so I settled for a bottled tea out of the fridge. I did like that they had a big screen where you could explore tourist information about savannah, that was very convenient. This is a cute little location for a nice afternoon snack! They also have really cool green chairs!

As a local of Savannah I had been looking forward going to the café so after making plans to go the other day in the late afternoon with one of my good friend and her nephew(age 2) as we walked in a good 15 – 20 min before they were closing, all we wanted was something cold to drink and to get something cold for her nephew before going to play on the playground and maybe a little sank as well. However after placing our order we were told that the drinks we wanted they could not make because all the Blenders were clean and they were closing soon and the only thing we could get was the food that was on displayed in the glass. So obviously we packed the car back up and went to Parkers’s to get a sank and a cold drink. I was a lost for words when we were turned away. I have never seen such slackers! So I can tell you after that I will not be returning back to that café ever again.

Most convenient place to grab a drink or snack in Forsyth park. They also offer burgers and sandwiches, never had one of those. The lines can be pretty long and the servers pretty slow but there’s cold coke, hot coffee, and a clean bathroom. Can’t beat that.

The last time I ordered here they forgot 1⁄3 of the ingredients in my lunch. Not items I added to the order, mind you, but standard ingredients listed on the sign. Today I stopped in for coffee and let them know and the person behind the counter had – literally – no response except a shrug. I guess I at least expected an apology.

This place is awesome for a little snack while enjoying a fun day out at Forsyth Park. I usually get a grilled chicken Caesar wrap and a salad, something light in between a good run or shopping at the Farmer’s Market. Don’t plan on having a heavy meal: just sandwiches, brunch snacks and yummy pastries. They have seating inside and a cool patio outside facing one of the play areas. Check it out on your next Saturday stroll Sav Friends!

This is a beautiful Starbucks! Open ambiance, lots of natural light. Situated in Forsyth Park, it offers a great spot for a casual meeting over a cup of coffee or a sandwich. DO visit, and enjoy a walk in the park!

We have been down to Savannah twice and each time the café in Forsyth Park was a go-to place. It’s a Starbucks but an independent site, not corporate. Indoor and outdoor seating. Clean and neat. Counter help is professional and friendly. Clean restrooms.

A solid café at a beautiful, huge park. It’s always clean, the bathrooms are decent, and there’s free wifi! They even have beer on tap. The food is very reasonably priced as well — $ 5 – 6 breakfast bagels, sandwiches, and burgers. I have yet to try their drinks but I’m sure it’s normal Starbucks stuff. Our bagel(the Forsyth) took quite awhile to come out, but the free wifi made up for it.

Prices don’t seem overpriced to me. They did before, but my lunch today was excellent and very fairly priced. I noticed that burgers are $ 5.50 and that includes a side. Side items by themselves are a little pricey. But they have to make their money back somehow! Still love the macaroons!

Not worth the price at all! This place is ran by The Mansion and if it wasn’t for the scenery outside I would have sworn I was at the Mayo Clinic or even back in my high school cafeteria for lunch. This is an ice cream scoop of tuna or chicken salad type of place… bland and tasteless food. The sandwich my friend had was very small, so I looked around at the plates of others and their servings were also small. They serve the smallest sandwiches and wraps I’ve ever seen in Savannah. Typical tourist trap.

This quaint café is located in the middle of beautiful Forsyth Park, with tables available outside and inside. They have a large seating area inside, good for socializing and eating/drinking. There are restrooms and even a station set up with maps of Savannah. The café’ serves Starbucks coffee and products, along with refreshments and beer. They have many delicious breakfast and lunch options, as well, from pastries to breakfast sandwiches and hot lunch options. Nice little necessity for this great park.

When we got hungry, we stopped by Forsyth Park Café located inside the park instead of trying to venture out. I wished we would have since the food wasn’t anything special. It was basically limited options with a price tag that didn’t match the basic taste. The kids had donuts which were were frozen, my mom had a parfait that wasn’t really too bad, but the chicken tenders tasted like they were freezer burned or came from a box. It wasn’t worth it.

What? I can’t knock a place that sells a cold beer on a sunny day. After a good game of tennis on the first warm day of the season, it was a great place to stroll down to. There’s plenty of adequate bathrooms, a little shade from the hot sun, plenty of tables both inside and outside the pavilion to sit down at. The service was friendly and they had a good selection of snacks to chose from. They had a variety of teas and coffees which they could make hot or cold. They has decent looking pastries too, I opted for the huge rice crispy square(which wasn’t the best I had, but tasty and did the trick). I guess it’s not the top of the line, but its certainly there for convenience.

This isn’t a place I would plan to eat lunch at, but if you are in the park and don’t want to leave it’s an okay place to grab a quick bite. We went to Forsyth for International Fest and had planned to eat at one of the food vendors. However, when we got hungry non of the vendors were doing business yet b/c they were waiting on the city of Savannah. The toddler was not willing to wait, so I decided the café would do. The Café is bright and clean inside, but the food is nothing special. We got chicken fingers and fries and it was clear they were from Sysco(or some other food company).

This is a café run by the Mansion at Forsyth Park – the hotel across Drayton Street. Reviews therefore for this property should be about the café, not the entire park which has its own entry on Unilocal(I noticed that a couple reviews here were in fact about the park, not the café). As Renne Y. notes, for a property run by the Mansion, which has a good restaurant and two great lounges/bars on site at the hotel, this café really comes up short. I am not sure why, but it’s as if their satellite here isn’t run with the same accord as the main hotel. Maybe they hire different people for this location or who knows, but the service and food are way down from what you’d hope for considering who runs it. Yes, it’s far less formal than their main restaurant but that’s no excuse: as anyone who has ever been to a Four Seasons hotel can tell you, a grand hotel runs everything with their name tacked to it at the very highest level. That is not the case here: the baked goods, coffee, and probably the sandwiches(which I’ve not had, to be fair) are substandard at best and the staff is in general inattentive and seemingly bored though sometimes they’re ok. The history behind this somewhat odd and rather endearing structure is interesting, though: it was built in 1915 as a training facility for local National Guardsmen and, like the rest of the park, fell into disuse and poor repair over time(I’ve seen photos taken in the 1970s of the park where it was pretty much a barren field of dust). Later efforts used the fort as a stage for outdoor plays and concerts and then it underwent a very long restoration project from 2004 to 2010 which lead to its current situation.

For the amount of people coming through here, this place is very clean. The AC feels great if you need a quick break from the humidity. The café includes Starbucks beverages and some smaller food items. The staff is friendly. They serve a few types of beer too, which is great!

What a great park for the locals to relax in! We were here for St Patty’s weekend and stopped at this park a couple of times to get away from the craziness going on further north. It’s a great people watching park! Also a great place to take some pictures and it has a cool fountain as well.

Tucked away in the Forsyth Park Visitor’s Center is this a sweet little coffee shop that also serves sandwiches, pizza, ice cream, Starbuck’s coffee and 8 kinds of draft beer. I only needed a potty break and a spring water, but this would have been a nice place to grab lunch if I was hungry.

While visiting Forsyth Park, we were looking for a quick bite for lunch. Without many options available, we stopped at Forsyth Park for lunch. I ordered a gyro while my bf ordered the sausage. Both items were decent, but the cost was nearly 20 bucks(thats without chips/sides). We tried to sit outside, but the flies were so bad we moved inside. I’ll probably skip the café and enjoy the park next time.
