The company is so HORRIBLE. My husband and young son were walking by today to see two of their employees, one looks completely strung out fighting in the parking lot. One threatens to quite and then decides she is going to call people ni**er and my kid come home to ask me what that means. Real classy… PS to the owner… your employee that looks high on drugs is also selling herself while your business is closed.

Mark and his crew build cars from the ground up. My car is in the final stages of assembly and I couldn’t be more pleased. Mark has assisted, advised and mentored me in the selections of my parts, metal treatments and styling. He also creates numerous custom and original parts that are practical, functional and aesthetically pleasing to the eye. He creates, builds and finishes his projects with expert care for your car. If you want a totally custom creation, talk to Mark Davis at M&J. It’s a process that requires patience, time and adaptability. From mild to wild, he’ll get’er done! One more comment, the price he quotes is an estimate. You can’t tell how good the metal is until all the parts are sandblasted. Don’t get butt hurt as the cost rises. It’s not something that comes with an exact price tag. He saved me money whenever possible and practical. If you can’t afford a full custom restoration, stay home and try to do it in your garage. Good luck with that.

Avoid! I took my restoration project over for a paint job. It tough finding a good shop and after speaking with Mark the owner, he convinced me he had the background to do the job. The car was straight, just needed one area on the fender for work. Other than that, a straight paint job. Issues 1; HIs quote will go up. this is expected and not the largest concern but he wont tell you or itemize a bill other than generic notes you cant read. 2. Hes volatile. Seems when he is running low on money, he will blow up your phone for a payment stating he completed a stage of work. Each time I stopped by, nothing had been done. 3. He is a HORRIBLE painter and not up to restoration par. I paid literally $ 13K to paint the car with 5 hours of body work. Thats really good and was looking for a good(not concourse) paint job. He lays the paint smoothly but its full of pits and debris. I took the car home and EVERYONE noticed the imperfections. I had to ship it back for him to try and block it out. After picking it up, he lied about painting the whole car again(which would have been a nightmare since I provided Glasurit paint). Looking closer, he did a poor job of blocking and left scratch marks on the paint. Best quote from MJ «No paint job comes out without debris unless you are GM» ??? Dont think so. My toyotas paint job from the dealer was 10 fold better Bottom line, if you are looking for a two bit restore, this is your guy. It would have been fine if he charged half of what he did. He is trying to play in the big leagues but he is clearly an amateur. If you are restoring a car and want a solid paint job. Avoid. I wish he had a review prior to me going there.
