Home Turf Synthetic Grass

Would not recommend for Concrete /​Hardscape. According to my contract with them the concrete was suppose to be. 4″ thick. I have large areas where it is 2.5″ thick. Along some edges along the fence it is less then 1″ and cracking off in Pieces. Complete scam. Chris said he would fix it and then told me to Screw off and call the contractors board. That is my next step. They do cut corners to save on cost of goods so more money in their pocket and you get a really bad job

I am a general contractor who works in the Temecula area. One of my best customers, who I love and respect, hired Home Turf to remove grass and install artificial turf. The workers were nice and friendly and seemed to work hard. The final results are sub par. They have had to come back at least 4 times to fix irrigation issues (not capping off old sprinkler heads on a line that was still in use for other parts of the yard). Several being under the new turf they installed. It does not appear that they even double checked the irrigation lines before installing the turf to make sure this wasn’t a problem. They «fixed» a leak on a irrigation valve. It was constantly leaking after the fix. I repaired it.
In the front yard the customers had new grass sod put in. It is one of the worst jobs I have ever seen. The ground is so un-​level and bumpy that it is dangerous to walk on. One of the pop up sprinklers was installed 3 inches above the dirt line. The first time the homeowner mows the lawn, it would certainly break. They came back today to fix it.
They had to remove a post and section of fence to get the bobcat to the backyard. When they reinstalled the fence, they put back a rotten post and used no concrete. They had concrete, since they poured all of the curbs for the new grass. The customers had me replace the post and fix their poor reinstall of the fence sections
They also hit a post of the balcony with the bobcat at least three times that I witnessed. I happened to be working on the balcony and had to feel the entire thing move and shake with each blow. To be fair, the space was tight between the post and house, but that just means you be extra careful and have a spotter each time. I repaired the post.
In the market of synthetic grass installers, there is a lot of competition. I recommend you try another company.

Home Turf did an excellent job. They worked closely with us from start to finish. The workers were on time, professional, and the whole area was perfect when they left.
The price was competitive with others we got bids from. We are very glad we chose them to do our pavers and turf.

Despite some good referrals and decent Unilocal reviews I can’t say great things about Home Turf. We were asking them for an estimate. Couldn’t give us one on the first visit so they scheduled a 2^nd. 1 hour before arriving they said an estimate was going to cost us $ 1500. What??? Excuse me? A) you didn’t mention this when you schedule and 2) our other 2 estimates were free. Thought we were going to go with you given the strong referrals. Unfortunately you lost this deal.

after going to a lot of home shows the last couple of years, we selected Home Turf San Diego, and we couldn’t be happier with selecting Chris and home turf he is not the cheapest BUT the quality of what he recommends is perfect!!! he also designed a dried river rock bed approx. 60 feet long through the turf made it look like so real,. the one thing we like about Chris is his crew has been with him for a while and really work together, we had Willies team great guys. When Chris say he will do something he does even more.

I’ve worked with this company on a couple of improvement projects around my house, and I have to say they’re worth calling again.
I’ve recently come to believe that you do indeed get what you pay for. Home Turf didn’t bring the cheapest estimate, but they’re very competitive.
They’re busy (which is a good sign), so it might take a week or two to get your project started and completed. However, they show up when they say they will and stay til the job is done.
Cale does their estimating and follow-​up. He’s a stand-​up gentlemen and works to ensure the customer is happy with the final product.
If you haven’t yet, give them a call for a free estimate. What can it hurt?

Great service at a fair price. I had them install turf in my back yard for my two dogs and I couldn’t be happier. It looks great! And more importantly, it’s obvious they did a good job, because it’s holding up to the «wear and tear» of my extremely active dogs. (a mastiff and a chow mix). Give them a try. This company is good to go.
