Lou Saare Body Shop

Just got back from getting an estimate at the Piner Rd. location. What I got was honest advice to not worry about the scratch on my leased car — I probably wouldn’t have to pay anything when I turned it in. And they went to the trouble of giving me a written estimate anyway, to give me leverage with the other driver if I needed it.
Turned out their advice was sound — I then went to Nissan and they said not to worry about it! Their honesty saved me a LOT of hassle. If I ever do need work done, they get the job for sure.

I just got my truck back and this place did an amazing job! I’m difficult to impress, and I’m a pain in the ass perfectionist. On top of that I’ve had bad luck with auto body work in the past, so was very worried about quality of workmanship and paint color matching. I read reviews on Unilocal of all our local body shops, and Lou Saare had the best reviews. Now here I am with an outstanding paint & dent repair! Perfect tri-​color pearl match and awesome customer service. This place will be VERY hard to beat. Do yourself a favor and don’t even consider the other guys.

After a SR derelict driver backed into our Tacoma, I contacted Lou Saare. I had read their Unilocal reviews and had a car guy recommend them. I phoned them a couple times before hand and had wonderful welcoming customer service and flexibility. Finally, I got myself to their Piner Rd location and was received very well. The shop is immaculate! The estimate was given and my parts were ordered in advance. We wanted factory parts no aftermarket and they made sure thats what came in. The truck was finished in a 2 day turnover and looks great. The service is fantastic and your business seems truly appreciated. I will be returning with my next repair for certain. Thanks guys!

My elderly in-​laws had the unfortunate circumstance of having their vehicle hit while it was parked in front of their house. They found dealing with the driver’s insurance company to be quite confusing and intimidating. I referred them to Capp Dunnebeck at Lou Saare’s Piner Rd location. Capp was incredible! He handled all of the dealings with the insurance company and got them all of the information they required. The end result was my in-​laws were incredibly relieved to have the situation taken care of and were very pleased with the result. I would recommend Lou Saare very highly and Capp in particular.

I choose this place because of their reviews. They did a great job on my car. It looked great and it only took two days BUT they sent me home in a «courtesy» vehicle which broke down on me before I got home. My husband picked me up from the side of the road… I received a really pathetic apology and nothing more.

Nothing but AMAZING things to say about these guys! I went to the Piner Road location and was blown away by the outstanding customer service that I received.
I got into my first car accident recently and had no idea what to do. I did some online research and saw that Lou Saare had outstanding online reviews and all of my friends recommended them as well.
Upon arriving they set up for an Enterprise shuttle to pick me up to take me to the Enterprise facility nearby and Capp (who was so amazing during the whole process) gave me updates on my car throughout the week. When I returned to pick up my car they took care of the rental for me and I was on my way within minutes. My car came out looking better than it did before and they were even so kind as to leave me a thank you note with a Starbucks gift card! Way to go above and beyond!
Here’s hoping I don’t ever need any more auto body repairs. But in case I do, Lou Saare is the way to go!

Thank you Dan Lassen. Eleven days ago I was broadsided while leaving the gym. Being new to Santa Rosa, I hadn’t had the opportunity to get to know any body shops. Thanks to Unilocal,I read many reviews and decided that Lou Saare’s body shop sounded like the right place to take my Toyota Matrix. I picked up my car today and it looks and drives like brand new. Very pleased with the work and especially with their customer service. Great experience and highly recommend!!!

I got in an accident last month. I heard a lot of good things about Lou Saare but never needed to use them. My accident was at 1130 at night so I had to get up early to find a shop then drop my son off and be to work by 9 AM. Sounded impossible I called Lou Saare and talked to them and they said bing my car to what ever shop was more convenient for me. I got there they helped me immediately and had already contacted Enterprise for rental for me. They updated me with everything I needed to know about my car and when it would be ready. They were very nice and extremely friendly. The best part about Lou Saare is there genuine. You always look for a place that really cares about their clients and they definitely do. My car looks amazing and maybe even more perfect than it was when I brought it in. Thank you Dan Capp Charmell and Cara. If ever someone asks or needs help with their car I will definitely recommend you guys. Thanks for being real and not just another Business that doesn’t care about their clients.

Lou Saare has done body and paint work on two of my Volvos! They got the work done in a timely manner, and when the cars came out of the shop they looked awesome! I would highly recommend them for body and paint work!

My Ford Ranger had some front and rear bumper damage, which was fixed beautifully. I was really impressed with the way the shop kept in contact with me about the repairs. I was able to direct the repairs made which best fit my budget. I was looking to save some money with the rear bumper and asked if they could look for a suitable after-​market bumper which would be cheaper than ordering it stock. They looked around for a bumper and when I was still hesitant about the price, the original damaged bumper was repaired to almost new condition to save me money.
Very honest employees who cared and really made me feel like they would work with my budget, while still making some excellent repairs to my truck.

I was extremely happy w/​my experience here at Lou Saares Body Shop. I brought my ford fusion in after being in a fender bender that knocked my tail light off & left some of my bumber hanging. The insurances were still determining liability so I wasn’t going to be able to get coverage for the fix just yet, but I NEEDED my car legal to drive. Dan at Lou Saares was able to work with me & the fix, keeping the cost decently low since I was going to be paying out of pocket. I couldn’t of been happier with the way my car looked. They did everything I requested plus more & blew my expectations away! THANK YOU for getting me back on the road!

Update: Lou Saare helped work through a warranty issue on my headlamp with me due to a MFG defect in the original bulb they installed. Only recomenndation: call the shop direct instead of leaving messages online or through their messaging service after hours. Otherwise, great staff and ownership. Will be back. Thank you!

I did some research and came across Lou Saare as the body shop to repair my new Audi A6 after it was hit in a parking lot. The best part about my experience with this shop was working with Blaine. From the get go, he got me setup with a car rental and handled a very difficult claim with a poor insurance company. During the entire repair, he was in constant contact with me about the status and anticipated completion date… he made this as easy and convenient for me as possible.
I was concerned with the paint colors not matching or something going wrong which could have negatively impacted the value of my car (pristine condition). However, I felt very comfortable with entire process and would certainly trust these guys to handle any work in the future if something comes up. My car looks amazing! I am so happy I brought it into this shop. You could never tell it was damaged and the paint blended PERFECTLY… the engine — SPOTLESS!
Every once in a while I come across a business which just blows me away, and these guys did today. The car was detailed when I received it, looked good as new. The owner even went so far as to say «bring it back and we will clean it up again after this rainy weekend.» Seriously?! Then I got into my car to find a «thank you» and a $ 10 Starbucks card! Whoa! What nice people! I am so happy to have this place around and will continue to spread the good word.

I have a bmw 3 series. The sunroof stopped working. i couldnt find anyone that would repair it. stopped by this place and the receptionist was very knowledgeable about sunroof issues. So they had to replace it and it works perfectly. Before stopping here I got the run around from everyone including a shop in Petaluma that their web page says their the sunfoof experts. .well they dont even work on sunroof at brodys in Petaluma..

They were great! I needed most of my car repainted after it had been vandalized and they really made sure I was happy with the car before they were done. They helped me deal with my insurance to make sure all the repairs were covered and even spotted a faulty paint job from a previous repair (done at another shop) and helped me get that fixed.
I know I can trust them and that they will go the extra distance to make sure I’m happy with any work they do. Hopefully I don’t have to go back any time soon, but I know where to go in the future.

This body shop is outstanding! Quick repair, took care of all the Insurance, stellar quality work, & great customer service.
I purchased a 2013 Nissan Sentra on Dec 1^st 2013 after getting into a wreck in Nov while driving to Washington from California to visit family for Thanksgiving. About 3 weeks of me having my new Sentra, someone decided they would vandalize my car by keying my hood, both doors on the driver side, rear driver side fender, & the top of my trunk. They left significant scratches on my hood, damage went through the paint, primer, & down to the metal.
After dealing with a car accident, I was pretty irate about having to contact Geico about a comprehensive claim a few weeks later. Geico was great about helping me through both claims but no body would be happy about having to deal with multiple car insurance claims within a short month.
Geico gave me the estimate for the damages Monday morning of Feb 3^rd. They wanted me to have the repairs done at G&C Auto Body but I’ve heard to many mixed reviews to let them do the repairs confidently. I called several body shops cause I wanted to shop around & the one of the places I stopped at was Lou Saare’s.
Jason was extremely helpful in answering my questions & gave me a thorough explanation about the repair process. I left the car & gave Lou Saare the keys that same day to start the repairs. They gave me a free loaner car so I didn’t have to pay a single penny for a rental car.
My car was ready to go exactly a week later on Feb 10^th. Before Jason gave me the keys back we did a full walk through of my newly painted Sentra & I was amazed to see that they had repainted parts of the car that weren’t a part of the Insurance claim. There was a rock chip on the front left fender & scuff marks on the bumper from an automated car wash (will never use one again) & they repainted those portions of my car at no cost to me at all. They did a full detail of the interior, the trunk, washed the car & before I drove off there was an appreciation letter on my center console with a Starbucks gift card in it.
Lou Saare has an amazing staff with great customer service etiquette. I never had to call them for a status update & they took care of everything with Geico. They made the experience much easier & I’d definitely return to them for any future repairs!!!

This place is amazing! Cara and the amazing staff at Lou Saare really made this experience a delight. Someone hit my drivers side door, scratched and dented it all up, completely ripped off my mirror and decided to flee the scene (this all happened when I was parked in an Ikea parking lot) I called around and most places gave me quotes just to replace my mirror at around 450 $!!! Not including the dent or scratches! I then found Lou Saare on Unilocal and Cara, one of the estimators, said to bring it by and they’ll see what they could do! She found a used mirror, they fixed the dents, scratches and touched up the paint for less than HALF of the other quotes I got! You can tell this shop really does care about the customers and not just the cash. I walked away feeling relieved and happy. Thank you guys for all your help. I will recommend this place to everyone who needs to fix any damage to their car.

This autobody shop is awesome! They took my two and a half-​year-​old Hyundai Elantra Touring with a dent in the front fender and a broken mirror and made it look brand-​new again. They even cleaned it, waxed it, vacuumed and detailed it. They were really quick and easy to work with and everybody in the office is super nice. I highly recommend Lou Saare body shop!

Again, another «bang-​up» job (pun intended)! I was rear-​ended recently and brought my car from SF to Santa Rosa specifically to bring it to Lou Saare because I knew that they would perform a first-​rate repair job.
They did an excellent job repairing my BMW M5. They used factory OEM parts that they ordered from Germany, and I had an opportunity to view some of the craftsmanship while they repaired the car. The attention to detail, welding, and finish looks just like it came out of the BMW factory.
If you love your car, show it by getting your body damage repaired at Lou Saare!

They lost parts of my car that took months to replace, the paint came out pretty good, but I have had damage to my car due to leaks and improper fit following their repairs. Oh, and they charged more than twice the other quotes I got, but since I wanted a «quality» job, I went there. I certainly won’t make that mistake again. There is too much competition to be twice as expensive, and only do half the job…

Wow! Unilocal reviews can really make a difference to customers after the fact too!
I received a phone call from Terrilynn at Lou Saare Body Shop today saying that the company owner had read my Unilocal review (from 2 days ago!) and wanted to make certain that I was one-​hundred percent thrilled with Lou Saare.
Terrilynn educated me that «OEM» (Original Equipment Manufacturer) does NOT mean unused/​brand new as I had thought, at least in the auto body repair business. OEM could either mean brand new OR previously used just as long as it is not a «generic» brand. That is good to know!
So obviously there was a misunderstanding about my request to have a brand new headlight assembly from Volvo when I wrote «OEM Only» for my headlight assembly on the contract. Terrilynn graciously apologized for the misunderstanding.
In addition, the owner of Lou Saare asked me to accept a brand new/​unused headlight assembly from Volvo and that they would replace the previously used/​reconditioned one that they installed in my car a week ago! That new part from Volvo is almost five-​hundred dollars to buy and install!
I was astounded at the generosity and lengths that Lou Saare was willing to go to make me as happy as possible!
I sincerely appreciated the wonderful offer, Thank You So Much!
But, I gratefully declined the offer because the reconditioned OEM headlight assembly really does look like new. Most importantly, I really want Lou Saare and any small company that I deal with to make money and succeed. I’m sure that if I had accepted their offer, Lou Saare would be losing quite a bit on me and I’m not about to let that happen.
So I am raising my Unilocal rating back up to 5 full stars for Lou Saare Body Shop. With their act of generosity and professional integrity they have certainly earned it.
