We specialize in residential and commercial floorcoverings. We have a large showroom with many manufacturers to choose from. Hardwood, laminate, cork, linoleum, vinyl and carpet. As well as area rugs and runners. Custom installations are our specialty. We belong to Go Local and many other local programs. Please stop by and visit our showroom. History

Established in 1880.

Conklin Bros started back in 1880 in San Francisco as a carpet and rug beating business. Conklin Bros was started in Santa Rosa in 1965 and recently moved to have better parking for our customers. We joined the Abbey Carpet and Floor buying group in 2001. We have our own professionally trained installers and an expert sales team to help you with your floor covering needs. We even have window coverings. Hope to see you in our showroom soon.

A non-​profit group I work with needed a small amount of flooring for a new office space. Marya, the sales rep gave me sample book to take to the space and get input on from all the decision makers. She was able to get the order in the same day, went to the group;s presidents house to fill out the order and we had it ready to install in less than 3 days. Absolutely outstanding! And low-​priced too.

Went there to find carpet for one spare bedroom. Told them low on funds.
They were very professional but totally over priced. Even for a remnant carpet, The labor I was quoted was more than I paid for the entire job at another store. Maybe I just got a great deal from Redwood Carpets but I was very pleased at the install job. It took the installer 1.5 hrs from start to finish. I was quoted 3 hrs at Conklin for $ 321 just labor? thats about $ 107 an hour…

This is a great place for flooring and window coverings. We have been shopping here for years and have always had great customer service. We have gotten countless items here and whatever we order comes quickly and is always correct. The workers are knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. For items like specialty floor cleaners and sealers, they know what they are talking about and have the items in stock all the time.

I own The Gables Wine Country Inn, a 137 year old. We replaced most of the carpet in the public areas of our inn including 2 staircases. The service was astounding from the sales staff to the installers. The crew arrived on time and even though we had guests sleeping they were respectful and kept the disruptions to a minimum. I cannot say enough good about our experience.

Wow! Don’t know what happened with the other guy who posted here, but our experience was fantastic. We worked with Steve, and I can’t recommend him highly enough. He came out to the house and measured our floors for us, found out about our special needs and made suggestions based on them. They installers were really nice guys, no smokers taking breaks, or loud radio music while they worked. We had a great experience. Maybe call ahead and ask for Steve???

Terrible Service
I went in today to ask for about 10 minutes of help in finding some samples for a vacation cabin. I was up front about my needs and that it wouldn’t be sale for him; but the product line that Conklin carries is what my contractor uses up near Reno.
The store was empty and the sales person was obviously bothered because he was in the middle of eating a good sandwich. He told me to call my contractor up near Reno — my contractor could do what I was asking him to do…
Remember, I asked for 10 minutes of his time — I went in with an extremely short list to get an idea of my sample choices; so I was prepared to NOT waste his or my time. I got less than a minute. I politely thanked him for helping me and left the store. Forget about EVER going back for my own home here in Santa Rosa!
