Honestly, not impressed with McCarthy’s. Not very friendly staff in person or on the phone. Did not follow up with me to update me on my prescription status — glad I didn’t need it that badly! For a local mom and pop shop, you’d think they be more cordial. Oh well, I’ll give my business to CVS :/

I love Mc Carthy Pharmacy! I don’t say that lightly. The relationship started with many question and concern. They have proven themselves time and time again. I receive many many medications and the staff are always helpful. They don’t just hear my problems they find solutions! Marty and all the staff are knowledgable, loving and a blessing. Not great experience… spoke with pharmacist who was rushed (understandable) but was also impatient and discourteous. He told me up «be more specific» with any questions the next time I phoned. I’m a medical social worker… would have to say this fellow does not have good bed-​side manner. This will be unfortunate for any seniors that may be intimidated by this man’s curtness and may not reach out for assistance in the future, if/​when needed.

I have been coming to this pharmacy for 5 years now and I cannot speak highly enough of the dedication Marty has for his clients.
This pharmacy has helped me navigate complex health plans and when uninsured helped me get medications I needed through various programs to help the uninsured. Now that I have insurance and expensive copy as — Marty even found a coupon for me to help offset those costs.
With all that is wrong with the healthcare system it is good to know there are still great pharmacists like Marty at McCarthy’s pharmacy who are about people and treat you like a real human being — not a prescription number.

Simple, to-​the-​point, and they have a lot of elderly customers that come in there which to me seems to attest to their staying ability. They are on a first-​name basis with the elder customers, which also gives it a ‘mom and pop’ type feel. Completely different than any Walgreen’s or Rite Aid where I have ever filled my prescriptions. The younger help is not always as eager, but they are working on it… For as long as I am in the area, I will get all of my prescription work done here.
