Dr. Guerra is a stellar dentist. He is a true artist. I am his biggest fan.
I have been going to him for more than 10 years. He is the best you can find in dentistry.
He could get a cheerier/​more lively receptionist but don’t let that stop you from booking with him. He is phenomenal.

My entire family of 4 (includes 2 kids) have been going for years. We wouldn’t go anywhere else. He is thorough, personal and I appreciate tremendously that he and staff are honest. They aren’t trying to sell you unnecessary procedures like a lot of dental offices now do.

My wife and I are big fans of Dr. Guerra and his team. They are all thorough, dedicated and very knowledgable. I drive from Riverside for my visits and am always thankful for his professionalism and skill. I would recommend him to anyone.
A big plus is that parking is always available directly in front of his office.

Dr Guerra is hands down the most HONEST and gentle dentist I have ever been to. I had a terrible accident in my 20’s…my jaw wired shut and subsequently tmj plus years of tortuous cosmetic dentistry to get me to where I am today. My friend recommended Dr Guerra to me claiming he was very honest and would never try to sell me extra things plus was very gentle. I went to him and it was the first time I have ever felt comfortable and not dreaded going to an appointment.
He is an awesome dentist and my two children go to him as well! We love Dr Guerra and his staff is great, too! We love his dental hygienist, Kira! She makes my kids feel super comfortable and going to the dentist is an easy thing for our family these days! :)

I absolutely HATE to go to the dentist, but Dr. Guerra and his staff are the BEST. So patient, so kind. I was terrified when I had to get a filling and he was so understanding of my anxiety and reassuring. The filling was quick and painless!
Also, Kira does the most amazing cleanings.
If you live in the West LA area, you MUST go to Dr. Guerra. I am a loyal patient for life!

Dr. Guerra is hands down the BEST DENTIST I have ever been to! He is patient, kind, professional and his work is amazing. I’ve been going to him for years and recommend him to all of my friends. I recently needed an emergency root canal and not only did he stay late to see me, he made a personal phone call to an endodontist who also agreed to see me that night and stay in the office until 7:00 p.m. to finish the procedure.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Guerra for any dental needs. You won’t be sorry and you many even look forward to going to the dentist. I know I do! :-)

UPDATE — judges have ruled in my mother’s favor twice now: once in small claims and a second time in appeals court. Dr. Guerra continues to deny fair treatment to my mother and the justice system has confirmed it.

this guy is amazing. Dr G and his staff were referred to me after i endured a dentist from hell scenario, and seriously, i was living with dental PTSD.
Than I met Dr. G.
Dr G, is a thoughtful, gentle and perfectionist dentist. hegave me back the confidence I didn’t have in dentists anymore.
Now my whole family goes to him. And even though he’s not the cheapest, he is for certain, worth every penny.
He had to make me a crown in front and the thing looks REAL. His crown guy Hiro, would come in a color match the tooth right in my mouth! They took this tooth seriously. We had appointments until it matched JUST RIGHT. They care and take pride in their work. Dr. G will take the time to make sure its PERFECT. Not just okay.
And the result… It shows. My fake tooth looks and feels real. And the best part, i finally have a dentist i trust.
Kira does amazing cleanings too. She won’t stop until every last bit of grime is gone.
Easy parking. Friendly staff.
It is a very personable, nice experience. Dr. G even brings his avocados from his tree and gives them to patients during the season! Good dentist and free avocados? How can you top that!

I have been seeing Dr Guerra here since he opened the practice and I have to say he is a great dentist and a really good guy. Always friendly and helpful, and he has an A-​plus team with him.

Dr. Guerra is amazing. I’ve been to several dentists throughout the years but he is easily the most thorough and patient. His work is just excellent. He also doesn’t try to push unnecessary procedures on you like some dentists. Though I’ve moved several times through the years, I won’t change dentists and drive the extra hour just to see him.
I also have to agree about his hygienist. (Okay, I don’t know how to spell her name.) But she is really thorough. Both are professionals of the highest caliber who really care about their work.

Dr. Guerra is an artist a saint a fantastic dentist! Go to him! I fly down from SF to continue with his care. I fly in friends from NY! He is a genius.

After having read so many ghastly dentist stories, I would like to recommend Dr. Guerra. He is one of a kind. He truly cares about his patients. I’ve spoken to a few in the reception area and they feel just as I do. He is also extremely gentle, something that is very hard to find. He also doesn’t try to «sell me» just simply gives me options. I value and trust his experience and opinions. I live in L.A. which is about a half hour away but would travel anywhere just to see him. If you go to this dental office you will never want to go anywhere else! And no I’m not getting paid for this review!

Dr. Guerra is a very gentle and kind man who actually cares about his patients. He is easy to communicate with and appears honest with all of his advice. I also really enjoy Kira’s cleanings. She scrapes each and every last bit of tartar on my teeth! If you are looking for a new dentist, I highly reccomend Dr. Luis Guerra in Santa Monica!
PS. THEY HAVE PARKING RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEIR SUITE! YAY!
