I hated that I came to this office. The other LabCorp that I’ve been to were pretty professional except for this one. There was no reason for me to be there for 45 minutes when there were two phlebotomist there and I was the only client. They were so busy chitchatting about their personal life and were even bad-​mouthing their office’s terrible management very loudly like I wasn’t there to hear them. I’m never going back.

Whatever you do, do NOT get your blood drawn here!!! I had the worst experience. There was only one tech. She was so rude beyond belief. I should have left, but I stupidly stayed. After waiting for almost an hour, she tells me «I’ll take your papers now and go sit in that room». I requested to have blood drawn on my left arm since I’m right handed. She said «No, I will draw blood wherever I can find a vein».
She used the tourniquet and left it there for almost 20 minutes because she couldn’t find a vein. My arm was turning blue. She didn’t care. Then she tried to blame me for not having veins. She wasn’t joking either.
I’ve never had anyone not able to draw blood. Sure, my veins are a little hard to find, but the professional phlebotomists always knew how to find them. This woman should not be drawing blood. She poked my veins twice on the left arm. She didn’t get enough blood. By this point, it has been 30 minutes since I’ve sat down on this chair. My patience was wearing thin. Not to mention my arm was hurting really bad. After she retracted the needle from my arm, she put a cottonball on it without applying any pressure and just walked off. I had to quickly grab the cottonball and hold onto it. That’s the most basic thing about drawing blood. You’ve got to put pressure on the vein after!!! So unprofessional!
It doesn’t end there. So, she continued with my right arm. Poked me twice again. By the second time, she got frustrated with me! Telling me that I’d need to go to another lab because she couldn’t find my veins. I just don’t understand why she was frustrated with me since it’s her job to find my veins. It’s not as if I could do something about my small veins! Eventually, we had enough blood drawn but I was pretty bruised and in a lot of pain.
She was extremely unprofessional and rude. I will NEVER go to another LapCorp again. Never! I don’t know what the other places are like, but please spare yourself and not go to this one. There’s a crazy tech who doesn’t know phlebotomy 101.
At the end of it all, I had to ask her for some tape for my cottonball. And no, she didn’t apply pressure either.

Awesome experience, I was in and out in 15 max. Go off hours or make an apt. The technician was awesome, friendly and very humorous which took the tension out of my blood withdrawal hang ups. Will be coming back :)

I was at this lab for the 1^st time this morning.
Yikes, what an experience! Of course, it’s a given that people are not thrilled to be here for blood work, but the tech that I interacted with acted as if she could care less. I was the 1^st patient at 7 am, as that’s the time that they open. This person started grilling me & asking me all types of questions about the medical codes that were mentioned on the paperwork, How would I know this? I’m not a medical person! I suggested that she call the Doctors office this morning when they opened. She had some difficulty in drawing the blood, but fortunately was able to fill up the necessary vials from one arm. She made some comments about having a runny nose & the sound of the running toilet. (???)
I really couldn’t get out of there fast enough after the lab work was completed! I was glad that I had found free street parking for the visit.
Hopefully, when I do need blood work done, I’ll try another office. This was not a good experience at all. I’m hopeful that I won’t have any black & blue marks from the area that the blood was taken from. I did call the Doctors office to comment about the whole experience.
