Dr. David B. Samimi is one of the few surgeons double certified as a plastic surgeon and ophthalmologist. As a member of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS), Dr Samimi has received the most training available in regards to enhancement of the eyelids and upper face. He specializes in surgical and non-​surgical procedures that improve eyelid appearance and function. This includes includes blepharoplasty (upper and lower lid lifts), ptosis repair, brow lifts, botox, facial fillers and other reconstructive and rejuvenation procedures. Dr Samimi’s uses his experience and skill to teache the most advances techniques to fellows training at Eyesthetica and residents at the USC Eye Institute where he an Assistant Professor of clinical medicine.

Eyesthetica was established in 2005 and has since grown into one of the largest oculoplastic and cosmetic surgery destinations throughout the country. The practice is composed of an elite group of oculoplastic surgeons including Dr’s: David B. Samimi, Steven C. Dresner, Michael B. Burnstine, and Melanie Ho Erb. Dr Samimi offers consultation in the Santa Monica and Encino offices. Other Eyesthetica locations include Downtown Los Angeles, Torrance, Valencia, and Pasadena.

Dr. David B. Samimi graduated from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and completed his eye surgery training at #1 rated Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. He then pursued 2 years of specialized eye plastic surgery training and is an official member of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. His dual training in eye surgery and plastic surgery uniquely qualifies him to deliver outstanding, safe and natural results when working around the eye. Dr Samimi was born and raised in Southern California and his patients appreciate his caring bedside manor and sense of humor. Dr Samimi currently offers consultation in Santa Monica and Encino and teaches oculoplastic surgery as an Assistant Professor at USC.
